Chapter 84: Queen Bee
Everyone was stunned, hearing the answer that came out of Lucas' mouth. Maybe I'm used to hearing annoying and insulting words from his mouth. But them? I'm sure this is the first time they've heard it.
"LLucas, don't be arrogant! Who do you think you are? To dare reject Eva like that, it's too much!" Said the young man who really couldn't accept Lucas' rejection of his idol.
"That's right, you're very arrogant! You don't know who we are, do you?" Continued his comrades in arms who also took part in this protest.
I swallowed hard, watching one by one start to get involved in defending Eva, most of whom were men. Meanwhile, the women seemed more interested in looking at Lucas' face, which for them was the incarnation of God.
"Lea, what's wrong with you? Let's go!" Once again Lucas turned to me and asked me to leave this room full of anger.
"Can we get out in a state like this?" I asked while looking at the door closed by Eva's fanboys. Is it possible that we could just leave like that?
"It's okay, come on, follow me!" Calmly, Lucas took my hand to follow his steps towards the entrance of the music room.
All eyes were on the two of us. I glanced at Eva who was still standing in her original place. The look in her eyes looked very different, not like the Eva I know, sweet and gentle. There was no angelic smile, only a cold gaze full of hatred.
"No, I must have just seen it wrong. There's no way Eva could see me like that!" I thought. Did I do something to upset her?
When Lucas and I arrived at the door. Just as I expected, Eva's fanboys blocked the door so we couldn't pass.
"We're going out!" Lucas said. The curly-haired young man who was standing right in front of the door stared cynically with his arms folded.
"You can't come out until you take back your words!"
"What do you mean?"
"You are adamant about refusing to become Eva's trainer, don't you know how lucky you are to have received more attention from her?"
"Oh yeah? Unfortunately I don't feel lucky, because I don't want to get involved in the games of Queen Bee and her followers like you guys at all. So I'm sorry, I'm not interested!"
"Hey, Lucas!" I whispered, trying to prevent him from saying things that would cause more conflict.
"You just shut up!" He said firmly. But in my eyes, it looks very scary.
"Hahaha...the queen bee game, isn't it? Interesting too. Yes, if you don't want to join, that means you are our enemy!"
"W-wait a minute, what does that mean? I'm completely invisible, Eva and I are friends, so-"
"Friends? Really?" This curly haired man looked at me intently from toe to hair. His eyes looked scary, making the hairs on my neck tingle.
"Get out of the way!" Lucas, who was getting impatient, immediately insisted that they step aside and let us pass.
His hands immediately grabbed Lucas's shirt and gripped it tightly.
"Hey, what is that?" Shouted the girls who were shocked to see a scene like this which was very unexpected.
"Let go! What are you doing?" I tried to pull his strong hand to let Lucas go.
I was very panicked, if it was like that there was a big possibility that they would fight. That means Lucas will be in trouble again.
"You don't need to worry, Lea. I can handle it!"
Lucas immediately threw a fist straight at his stomach.
"Ugh-" he sudden attack forced him to release his grip.
"Hey you! How dare you hit Jay, watch your back!"
"Stop it...!" Eva shouted. We all fell silent and immediately looked at her.
"Sob...I beg you to stop, don't do that. I was wrong for forcing Lucas, I'm sorry." Eva sobbed.
"Eva, you can't cry. Your tears can't fall!"
"That's right Eva, don't cry. We will always be there for you." Eva's fans flocked to her and calmed her who was sobbing.
Seeing Eva cry like that made me feel very guilty. If I could have persuaded Lucas, maybe none of this would have happened.
"Come on Lea, let's go back to class!"
"Are you sure you want to just leave it like that? W-what if-"
"You better not get too involved with her, she's dangerous!"
"Dangerous? What do you mean?"
"I'll explain later, the important thing is we have to get out of here immediately!" Lucas opened the door which was free from Eva's fans who currently preferred to calm her down.
Lucas and I just left, as Lucas said, it feels like this problem won't stop here. Have we really gotten ourselves into big trouble?
"So, what do you mean that they are dangerous? What-"
"Not them, but that girl. It's best if you don't have to be too nice to her. She's not as cute as she looks!"
"What do you mean? Eva is a good person, so don't be too prejudiced against-"
"Good? Which good person forces someone to do what they want? Which good person approaches someone just to be used?"
"Used? Taken advantage of? I don't understand what you mean?"
"You don't need to understand it now, what is clear is that you don't need to bother being his friend or whatever. If you want your school life to go well!" Lucas stepped ahead of me towards class. I, who still didn't understand what he was saying, looked down while thinking about the Eva I knew.
It's true that we just met each other, but he's a good person, just like Odelia. So, if Lucas says she's dangerous, I don't see where Eva is dangerous at all?
"Hah? Pierre, how is this? What should I do? I'm confused!" I said complaining while rubbing my face.
"What do you mean by that ?" Pierre asked. He who had been standing outside throughout the incident naturally didn't know anything. If I had almost been beaten up, Pierre would have acted immediately.
"It's okay, I'm just confused. It feels like this school really isn't easy. I really miss my old school!" I said. Pierre looked at me with a flat gaze which now actually made me smile.
Maybe that's what I like about him, calm and there are no problems he needs to think about.

"Lea!" Odelia waved her hand when my feet had just touched the classroom floor.
"Yes, What is up?" I asked. I immediately approached Odelia who was sitting in her chair.
"Come here! I have something to say!"
"What?" I asked. Odelia immediately whispered in my ear.
"Is it true that Lucas almost got into a fight with an upperclassman?"
"What? Class?" I asked, completely clueless.
"Yes, seniors!"
"That's bad."
