My Edelweiss

"Why are you curious?"

"I just want to know, can demons fall in love like humans?"

"Demons are just like humans, we can fall in love and we also have lust. Just so you know, demons' lust is very big!"

"Why do you confirm that to me?"

"Who knows, maybe you might want to try having sex with a devil, hahaha..."

"Is it posibble?"

"How can demons and humans do that?"

"Why not? What do you think I look like?"

"Of course never, you fool! I am Leviathan, one of the seven princes of hell. I am a special devil. Only lowly devils want to have sex with humans."

"Why does your face look so disappointed?"

"Me? Disappointed? Why should I be disappointed? I actually feel relieved, that means I won't trick you to that point, right?"

"Who says it?"

"What?"

"Even though I am one of the princes of hell, I am the only one who has no subordinates or followers. Because I work alone, that means I will do various things to make my task successful, including making you want to have sex with me."

Hearing Leviathan's statement, Edelweiss was stunned. He didn't expect that Leviathan might plan this against him. He didn't know whether he could avoid her temptation or not and honestly it scared him because he knew that he wouldn't be able to resist the magic that Leviathan cast.

"Hey, don't think too far! I'm sure without even having to do that with you I will make you jump into the sea again and go to hell!" Leviathan became embarrassed after seeing Edelweiss' reaction.

"Hahaha..." Edelweiss laughed seeing how Leviathan tried to take back her words. He didn't know that demons could make mistakes too.

"Why are you laughing? What's so funny?"

"You're not cool at all, devils are supposed to act calm and dignified? But instead you look like a stupid bum!"

"Who are you calling a stupid bum? You want to feel the power of the devil?"

"I want to, but in bed, okay?" Edelweiss said in a joking tone. Leviathan was silent, he didn't think that Edelweiss was joking.

"What?"

"You said the devil has great lust, so I wonder how big the devil's lust is?"

"You really want to try it, huh?"

"Hahaha...I was just kidding! We're one in the same now." Edelweiss' laughter grew stronger and for some reason she felt very happy because she was able to silence Leviathan.

"Hey, Edelweiss!" Leviathan withdrew his hand. Edelweiss immediately stopped in her tracks and looked back where Leviathan looked at her with a cold gaze.

"What is-"

"You have to know one thing, you don't always joke with the devil. Because the devil might take you seriously."

"Didn't you say that demons can know what's in human hearts and even read human thoughts? So the demon should already know that humans are joking."

"The demons don't care whether the human is just joking or not even though they know. Because what they know, what the human says will always be an opportunity to get into their minds no matter if it's a lie. Because the demons will only do things -evil thing."

Edelweiss was silent, she had no idea that the words she said could be an opportunity for Leviathan to influence her mind. Sometimes he just forgot that the man standing in front of him was a devil. But why can he laugh out loud when he is with a demon like Leviathan?

"Edelweiss?"

Edelweiss heard Ryan's voice calling her name. He snapped out of his brief reverie and turned towards the man who was walking towards him.

"Ryan?"

"What are you doing here?" Ryan asked, then turned to Leviathan.

"I'm visiting my friend who is being treated at this hospital."

"Who's he?" Ryan asked with a cold expression when he saw the man standing with Edelweiss.

Realizing that Ryan could see Leviathan, Edelweiss was shocked. He immediately looked at Leviathan who was grinning at him.

Leviathan stretched out his hand to Ryan as if to shake hands. However, Ryan, who looked annoyed, refused to shake his hand.

"Let me introduce myself, I'm Levi. Edelweiss's friend!"

"Friend?"

"You could say his future girlfriend!"

"W-what did you say?" Edelweiss said panicked. His panic still hasn't disappeared because Leviathan made himself visible to Ryan, now Leviathan is even spouting nonsense about being his future girlfriend.

"Edelweiss, is he really your friend?"

"H-he, he just-"

"Hey honey, why are you so hesitant? He's Ryan, the childhood friend you told me about, right?" Leviathan became even more nosy, he embraced Edelweiss's numb shoulders affectionately.

"Edel?" Ryan looked at him confused. It was clear that he looked very disappointed that Edelweiss didn't say anything to him at all.

"H-he-"

"Ryan...!"

From a distance, a woman's voice was heard calling Ryan. The woman walked closer with a big smile on her beautiful face.

"Lyra?" Edelweiss was surprised because the woman was Lyra, Ryan's ex-girlfriend who was her senior in high school.

"Where have you been? I've been calling but you haven't picked up. The doctor said my fetus is healthy. Thank goodness! Edelweiss?"

"Hi, Lyra? How are you?" Edelweiss greeted him awkwardly. Meanwhile, Ryan just remained silent with an annoyed expression on his face that was difficult to explain after seeing Lyra with a man.

"Edelweiss? Oh my God, it's been a long time since I saw you. You really studied in this city?"

"Yeah, didn't Ryan tell you?"

"No, Ryan didn't tell me at all that you were here, hmm...who is he?" Lyra asked when she saw a tall man standing beside Edelweiss.

Her wild eyes looked at the man from toe to head. He was fascinated because the man he saw was too handsome to describe.

Leviathan extended his hand to shake to Lyra who gladly accepted his hand.

"Levi,"

"Lyra, nice to meet you!" Lyra smiled gently. She was indeed very beautiful and Edelweiss could guess that even in the eyes of a demon like Leviathan, Lyra was very beautiful.

She is tall, slim with blonde hair and blue eyes that make her look like a living Barbie. Being around her made Edelweiss often feel inferior because she was not very tall, not even 165 cm, her skin was not as white as Lyra's, her hair was dark brown and her eyes were brown. Even though she was born and raised in Scotland, her appearance looks like a Latina or Asian woman.

"You are very beautiful, Miss Lyra."

"Thank you, I-"

"But my Edelweiss is much prettier."
