Chapter 62: Anger like A Bad Weather
Santiago
After watching the raging sea with its waves bellowing wildly as they hit the rocks, for a long moment the adrenalin pulses through my veins and a sick desire takes hold of me to go and see that prick Ignacio. Instead of going home to be with Orely, I decide to go into the warehouse, my mind clouded with rage and the desire for revenge. Once inside, the atmosphere is both dark and gloomy, illuminated only by a dim, flickering light. In the center of the room, Ignacio sits unconscious on a chair, tied up. I watch him, and after ten minutes, he slowly comes to, shaking his head slightly. Opening my eyes, I stand in front of him, who gives me a mocking look. Unable to contain myself at such a provocation, I unleash my brass knuckles with monstrous determination, striking him in the face. The shock resonates in the air, triggering an echo of pain.
With fury, I stare at the walls covered in graffiti and dried stains, which tell tales of brutality and desolation. In pain, this guy stands up to me, flashing a defiant smile with his teeth and lips bloody from the blow I have given him. And to top it all off, this loser dared to speak to me with such audacity!
"How are you, El Diablo? The devil is here, in front of me, in person. It is not every day I get a privilege like this. So, how does it feel to touch your sore spot? That is your girlfriend, I presume? It hurts, doesn't it?” He speaks weakly, wincing in pain.
His voice is infused with contempt and deep anger, that every word is like a nail driven into my heart. But I have a revelation for him to hear that will close his direct clapper.
"You are dead wrong, asshole! You have teamed up with La Domina, which is my organization. Oh! You look surprised now! Gabriele El Drago is me, rat face! You did not expect that? Don't you?"
"I am sure you are bluffing! You don't know what you are making up to impress me!" He retorted with a look that was less convincing a few minutes earlier.
I laugh like the devil out of hell. An uncontrollable anger seizes me, and my fists clench with such force that my knuckles turn white. My eyes, normally cold and calculating, are now on fire.
"Ha! Do you think that if it was bullshit, I would be here, torturing you like nothing with the support of my countless men at my side? "
I take my time, walking towards the wooden table and kick over it. Tools of all kinds fall with a clatter, and that is when my gaze is fixed on the shiny steel pruning shears, gleaming under the dimming light. With a swift movement, I pick up the sharp-edged tool while this ever-subversive scumbag can't help smiling, challenging me, the mobster! But the pain does not wait. With a brutal movement, I grabbed him firmly and sliced one of his earlobes.
Ignacio's scream echoes through the room, a heart-rending wail that makes the walls seem to vibrate. But I am so out of control and relentless that I am not stopping there. Not after his obnoxious and persistent behavior!
I watch his blood flow, bright red, infusing the dusty floor, then concentrate on his right hand. Without wasting time, I cut off his little finger, watching with unhealthy satisfaction while Ignacio writhes in pain, his face marked by anguish.
"You are not so cocky now! I have another piece of news that I am sure will please you. I know you have a twin brother, and you won't have to wait long to see him here. You are both in my hands. But don’t worry, I am not going to kill you right away, not until Igniaki is here, by your side."
It is a terrible sight, and the blood continues to flow, forming a dark puddle around Ignacio. I stand there, impassive, watching him fidget in his chair. With a gleam of authority in my eyes, I turn to my men and order them to gag him.
"Stop crying like a sissy. You are getting on my nerves with your yelling, the screams of a chick. You had it coming, you bastard!"
My men comply without hesitation, placing a gag in his mouth, which tries to struggle, terror mixed with pain in his eyes. Finally, a little silence in the room, disturbed only by the muffled sound of Ignacio's mouth.
Unperturbed, I am on the point to inflict further suffering on him, savoring every moment of my domination, but I am content to stop there or I will end up killing him. I ask my men not to let him die, not until we have brought his brother here.
Before I leave to go home at last, I disinfect my hands and make sure my men have followed my instructions, leaving Leopoldo to take over.
