Chapter 20

Xavier rolled on his side.

"I'm sorry” He apologized.

She turned to face him.

"I didn't mean to yell at you, I just got angry that you don't trust me"

"I'm sorry” She apologized too. “She’s just too beautiful..."

"You're more beautiful than her, Cara. And I would never cheat on you” He sworn holding her hand.

"Non ho occhi che per te"(I only have eyes for you)

She smiled and moved into his arms ducking her head below his jaw.

"When I...you know... went down on you, did you like it?” She asked timidly.

"I didn't like it, I loved it."

He held her chin then bent his head and kissed her. Amanda felt tingles of electricity shooting through her body, every nerve inside her was screaming for his touch. It was as if they did not had sex just minutes ago.

His hands rested on her buttocks and he squeezed hard. Her body was so in tune with him. It reacted to his every look and touch... and sound.

He slowly broke away from the kiss and moved down taking off her shirt.

He hovered over her, scattering hot kisses all over her body. He sucked on her neck harshly enjoying the gasps that fell from her mouth, he slid his tongue over the ache to soothe it.

Xavier moved downward, kissing the upper slope of her breasts, he ran his fingers around the rim of her panties then he tugged it down from her body.

Spreading her legs wide, he gazed at her swollen feminine folds as if he was seeing it for the first time.

He lowered his head, and her body jerked the moment he slid his tongue inside her. His mouth closed and he suckled her deeply.

"Uhmm...ahhh" She moaned.

He wanted to tell her how wet she was already...how ready...but he couldn't find any words...he was too consumed by her noises and her hands gripping the sheets from the pleasure he was giving her.

He plunged one finger inside her, sliding in and out and she whimpered.

He nibbled her clit.

Amanda was dazed...she didn't know anything could feel this good in her entire life, she didn't want this to end.

"Don't stop, please," She begged.

She closed her eyes and moaned loudly as his fingers moved deeply into her body.

"Open your eyes, Bambi, look at me...look at the only person who can make you feel this way"He demanded.

Slowly, her eyes opened.

"I love you," He whispered.

She found every word... every movement he makes completely overwhelming.

"You're beautiful, Amore," he muttered, circling her body, plunging in and out.

"You're the only one for me," he said, his eyes never leaving hers.

He pulled out his fingers and suckled her again.

She moaned in great pleasure, her body writhing against his face, humping up and down, he noticed her leg stiffening, the way they always do when she's close, he pulled back and stroked her clit fervently.

"I'm... I'm..."

"That's right... Come for me, Amore mio," he urged. Within seconds, her orgasm hit her hard.

"Xavier!" she screamed as her head pushed back into the pillow and her body trembled from the intensity, wave after wave of pleasure coursing through her body.

Xavier stared at her as she came all over his fingers. He slid his finger into his mouth after she was done. She tasted so good.

He slowly lay atop her.

She placed her hands on his cheeks.

"I love you, Xavier"

He kissed her forehead.

"I love you more"

She didn't want to ruin the moment, so she chose to tell him the following day.

The next day, Xavier had left for work and she sat on the chaise lounge in the living room trying to figure out the best way to tell him without hurting him or gaining hatred from him.

"Ma'am," Mona called snapping her out of her thoughts.

"Yes?"

"I was wondering if you would want me to prepare any special meal since today is Sir Xavier's birthday," she announced.

Amanda gasped. Today was Xavier's birthday? She had no idea.

"How does he celebrate it before?" she asked.

"He doesn't. It always seems like every other day in the house."

Amanda shook her head standing up. "It's going to be different today, let's go." She gestured to the kitchen.

"Yes ma'am," Mona said excitedly.

Xavier walked into his house, there was no sign of anyone...not even his wife.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Loud squeals came from the dining room.

He gasped seeing all his workers together and his wife holding a cake.

Today was his birthday? He thought about the date...oh yes it was. He had totally forgotten about it.

Amanda walked up to him.

"Happy birthday, Xavier," she said, smiling broadly.

"Aren't I too old for this?"

"Of course not. We...especially me is grateful for knowing that someone like you was born today. Thanks for being born and for being in my life, Xavier"

His cheeks were covered in deep shades of red. He felt so special.

"I'm not used to being informal with these people, how do I act?" He whispered.

"Just try to be cool and calm with them,” she said also in a whisper.

"Thank you everyone for this, it means a lot," he said trying not to sound too harsh.

"Time for dinner!" Amanda announced, excitedly.

They all walked into the dining room. Xavier stared at the long table which was filled with different meals.

Could everyone here finish everything?

He sat down and Amanda placed the cake in front of him.

"I baked it myself, does it look nice?" She asked, nervously.

He nodded. "It looks good, and I bet it tastes good too"

She smiled.

Something occurred to him.

"Did you prepare all these with the maids?" He asked gesturing at the meals.

She nodded.

"Why did you go through all this stress?"

"I'm not tired, Xavier," she assured.

He wanted to press on but then realized that the workers were still standing, waiting for his permission to sit down.

"You may have your seat and please, by all means, I want you to feel free with me."

"Yes sir," they chorused and sat down, though some wondered if this was really their boss.

They started singing a birthday song for him, he stared at his wife and the way she was looking at him made me feel extremely special.

"Make a wish, Xavier," Amanda said.

He frowned. "Do you think I believe in that?"

"C'mon, when you wish for something you want really bad, it comes true," she pressed on.

"Who made that up?"

"Me," she replied and the others laughed.

"Fine," he agreed and thought about what he wanted more than anything.

He shut his eyes and made that wish then opened them and blew off his candle while the others clapped happily.

Amanda wondered what he had wished for.

Soon they started eating, Xavier noticed his gardener Louis staring lovingly at Mona, and sometimes helping her out with her cutleries and with water.

"What's going on between you two?" he asked, curiously.

"Nothing sir. He asked me to date him, but I declined," Mona explained, frantically.

Amanda laughed. "Why are you denying your boyfriend, Mona?"

Mona and Louis froze but were slightly relieved when Xavier snickered.

"I've got no problem with that, as long as you're not fucking in my kitchen."

Amanda gasped, “Xavier!" She smacked his arm at his use of words while him and the workers laughed.

The rest of the dinner was spent talking and laughing, at some point, he had tears in his eyes from too much laughter.

Now, they were drinking wine and some of his workers were drunk, already.

"Sir, what do you want to say to your wife so bad?" Louis asked, drunk.

Xavier sighed. He knew Louis wouldn't be bold enough to ask him that if he wasn't drunk but then he was proud to talk about his wife in front of anyone.

He turned to face her.

"Il nostro amore e la cosa piu importante nella mia vita (Our love is the most important thing in my life)

“Tu sei un dono del ceilo" (You're a gift from heaven)

"Aww," the workers cooed.

Amanda smiled happily trying not to blush so hard, but it was impossible.

"Can we go upstairs now?" He whispered.

She stared at the workers; some were dozing off already while the rest were talking about random things.

She nodded.

Xavier took her hand and they walked away.

"Thank you for today, Cara. This is the first time my birthday has been celebrated as far as I can remember" He said as they walked into their bedroom.

Amanda smiled sadly. She didn't have a good relationship with her sister and mother but when her father was alive, he didn't fail to make her feel special on her birthday... and Miguel had taken up that role after he passed away.

"They didn't call you, did they?"

Xavier shrugged; he knew she was referring to his family. "They probably forgot, same way... I almost did,” he said, nonchalantly.

She got into the bed, he pulled off his suit jacket and trousers then got into the bed.

She moved closer to him while he held her hand tracing a line with his thumb.

"Do you think I'd make a good father? I mean...if we start having kids, I just want them to be free with me, I'd want to have a happy relationship with them, I want them to be able to tell me anything because I'll always listen and understand"

Her heart melted as she imagined herself carrying Xavier's child. Would that be possible?

"You'll be a great father, Xavier"

He smiled. “Thank you."

"What did you wish for?" She asked, curiously.

"I thought I'm not supposed to tell another person my wish?"

She placed her hand on his chest.

"Am I just another person? I'm your heartbeat," she reminded, sweetly.

He grinned. "Fine. I just wished for what I want more than anything."

"Which is?"

"Con te voglio invecchiare" (I want to grow old with you)

She swallowed hard and lifted up her head to look at him.

"Assuming I lied to you about something...like I deceived you...would you hate me?"
