Chapter 32: Epilogue

Three months later.

"I want to go out today,” Grace said as she sprawled her lazy self on the couch while we all sat on the ground. Aunt Lucy and her husband and my parents were not here today, and Tommy was staying at one of his friends.

"A party?” John said slowly. Kylie groaned and shook her head.

"I don't want a party in the house,” Grace said while rolling her eyes. "I don't like drunk strangers dancing around, half naked and causing a lot of mess which we'll have to clean,” I nodded at her words.

"What about we go to a club?” Chase questioned.

"A club would be fine,” I said as I rested my head on the couch. Aaron was resting his head on my lap.

"What would you say, Aaron?” John asked.

"Anywhere will be fine to me,” he said with closed eyes as I played with his hair. I smiled and stopped, causing him to open his eyes. "Why did you stop?” he asked with a pout. I pushed his head slightly, urging him to sit properly. He groaned and playfully glared at me. Just then, my phone started ringing in my back pocket. I quickly answered the call when I realized that it was my mom.

"Hello?”

"Kim, honey! I completely forgot! The photos of your photoshoot came this morning. It's in the drawer in the living room and the picture of you and Aaron has been selected instead of you and Lucky,” she said quickly, and she sounded breathless, making me chuckle.

"Why are you such in a rush?” I questioned.

"Your Aunt Lucy and Uncle Max thought it would be cool to steal a teddy bear and we have been running!” she said making my eyes go wide open.

"They did what?!” I exclaimed before bursting out laughing. My friends were now looking at me.

"Stop laughing! It's not funny!” my mom whined. "I'm wearing my high stilettos,” she sighed. "I freaking forgot how crazy my sister was,” she said out loud.

"I heard you!” I heard Aunt Lucy shout back.

"Why did they do it?” I asked in amusement.

"Because the man was a cheating in the game or something,” she said.

"What?"

"We went to a fair and they decided to play a game. The man rigged the game,” my mom explained. "I'll talk to you later, honey,” she said, and I laughed.

"Mom, we’ll be going out tonight, is that okay?” I asked.

"Yeah, fine. But don't drink too much and tell Aaron not to party to much because his photoshoot has been scheduled. His contract is in the drawer as well and good news! He has been chosen as the face of the surf agency,” she said, and a smile crept on my face as I stared at my boyfriend with pride.

"Okay. Love you"

"Love you too,” with that, she ended the call. I stood up and started making my way to the drawer.

"What did she say?” Grace asked.

"Apparently, your parents found it cool to steal a teddy bear,” I laughed and opened the drawer. I took the files and walked back to the living room. I sat next to Aaron. He was staring at me intently. I opened the file and watched as Kylie and John's mouths dropped open at the photos.

"Holy shit! They're so good,” John exclaimed as he took the photos. I still had some in my hand and it was those of Lucky and I.

"Our photos has been selected for the magazine,” I opened the file to find a simple of the magazine. I opened it and watched as Aaron took a deep breath as our photo was printed in the middle of the magazine.

"We're so beautiful,” he said and rested his head on my shoulder.

"Yeah, we are,” I whispered. John gave us back the photos and Aaron seemed to be admiring my photos. Then he smiled. I decided to give him his contract. "This is for you,” I said.

"What is this?” he asked.

"This is your contract. Your photo shooting schedule,” I told him and watched as his mouth dropped open. "You're going to be the face of the surf agency,” I announced. His eyes widened in surprise, and he pulled me into his arms.

"Are you fucking serious?” he asked as he pulled away. I nodded and a smile spread on his face. He didn't even open the contract but simply held me in his arms.

"Guys, we're leaving for the club, when you're done, join us there,” John snickered and all of them walked away, leaving me and Aaron alone.

"Thank you, Kim,” Aaron whispered. I stared at him with a smile.

"Again, I think you should be thanking your mom for your beautiful face,” I said playfully but he stared at me, love in his eyes.

"I'm so glad I've met you. You've helped me with my mom. I've got a contract because of you. Do you even realize how much you mean to me? I fucking love you, Kimberly,” he said and without waiting for another second, he crashed his lips against mine. I sat on his lap and let my fingers tangled with his hair. I gently bit on his lip and tugged on it, making him groan in pleasure. When we were soon out of breath, we both rested our forehead against each other.

"I love you, Aaron. So freaking much,” I whispered, making him close his eyes and smiled as he pulled me in a hug. We stayed there, in each other’s arms. It felt good. To be with the person I love.

It was my Happy ending.
