Chapter 80: The Throne of Eternity

The ghost jet cut silently through the stratosphere, leaving the blood-soaked ice of Tokyo completely, entirely behind us.

No messy, frantic debriefing in that fancy cabin. No last minute panic to lock down our global holdings. Nothing like that.

The Void Network was erased completely, and the whole global underworld had that awful, undeniable shake right through it, like we owned the floor and the ceiling too, by pure supremacy.

Every cartel left standing, every deep-state politician, every shadow organization on earth… they all bowed, immediately, to the Vance Syndicate.

The war was done. Like permanently, finished, no second act.

When we came down through freezing blizzards over the Swiss Alps, the supposedly impenetrable mountain chateau didn’t feel like it was building up for some siege. It felt more like a flawless, untouchable palace waiting for someone to crown the real rulers, finally.

We didn’t head up to the penthouse, to rest. We went straight down, into the underground war room.

The magnetic doors hissed shut with that heavy, final sound, sealing the four of us inside the absolute nerve center of the global empire. Monitors everywhere, huge, high-definition, and the screens were just… glowing. Green status lines, perfect, clean, the kind you only see when everything is secure and nobody can touch it.

Everything was safe. Absolutely , undeniably.

Julian Vance walked to the head of the tactical table, lit up like it was alive. That dictator of the underworld— scary in a way that feels ancient— planted his broad, calloused hands flat on the glass.

He studied the massive digital map, then he looked up at our fifteen-year-old twins.

“For fifteen years, your father and I pulled this empire out of the absolute deepest pits of hell,” Julian said, low and steady, like the words had weight you could fall onto. His pitch-black eyes burned with a proud devotion, the kind that doesn’t flinch, not once. “We slaughtered the coalitions. We buried the ancient bloodlines. We built an untouchable world.”

I stepped up beside my King, my hand landing just right on his muscular back.

“But Kings aren’t supposed to stay in the shadows forever,” I whispered, smoothly, like I meant every syllable. The Mafia Consort dominance melted into something softer , fatherly. “We forged this lineage for you.”

Julian reached into the inner pocket of his tailored dark suit. He pulled out two heavy, titanium forged things, like relics someone could never fake.

He slid a sleek encrypted master-access drive across the glass, toward our son. “The digital keys to the global grid. The offshore accounts, the AI mainframes, the absolute pulse of the deep web. It is completely yours, my Prince.”

Our son took it without hesitation. His icy-blue eyes flashed, sharp and bright and terrifyingly intelligent.

“The digital board is entirely locked down, Papa,” he said. “No one will ever get through our firewalls again.”

Julian then passed over a heavy, black gold Vance Security tactical signet to our daughter. “The absolute command of the Vance global military. Stealth fleets. Mercenary battalions. The entire physical perimeter of the earth. You’re the shield, little Queen.”

Our daughter caught the signet like it was always meant for her. A dark, completely lethal smile curved her lips, and her pitch-black gaze looked like Julian’s feral hellfire, only sharpened.

“I’m the sword, Daddy,” she murmured. “The physical world belongs to us.”

The transfer of power was breathtaking. Smooth, flawless , executed like a ritual.

The Golden Boy and the Ice King had already passed the torch, no drama, no pause.

I leaned over the table, pressed a soft kiss— deep and emotional— onto my daughter’s forehead, then onto my son’s.

“Rule it flawlessly,” I whispered.

Julian and I turned away from the glowing tactical table. We didn’t look back. We walked out, leaving the terrifying next generation of apex predators to step into their proper thrones.

The private elevator climbed up through complete, heavily insulated silence, to the very top of the mountain.

When the doors finally opened, we entered our luxurious, sprawling penthouse. Moonlight spilled across pristine snow and the Alps beyond the floor-to-ceiling windows, like the world itself was polished.

The mahogany doors clicked shut behind us, sealing off everything else, like we were the only living thing left.

Julian Vance didn’t wait a single microsecond.

His huge frame moved with blinding, predatory speed. He backed me fully into the heavy mahogany door, his hot hands gripping my waist with brutal confidence.

He crushed his mouth against mine— a massive, searing, deeply commanding kiss, tasting like finality and permanent ownership.

I melted into his solid chest, my hands grabbing his dark hair, tangled and desperate. My repaired heart kept beating, steady and untouchable, finally free of the ghosts that used to haunt everything.

Julian broke the kiss just enough to breathe, his warm exhale fanning my lips.

Then he unbuttoned my bespoke suit jacket with a rushed, filthy obsession, sliding the dark fabric off my shoulders until my chest was bare.

His pitch-black eyes dropped to the stark dark crown tattoo over my heart, perfectly bisected by the silver surgical scar.

“You completely saved my soul, Kaelen Frost,” Julian growled low, his thick fingers tracing the heavy black diamond on my left hand.

“You walked into my freezing world, and you set it on fire. You’re my absolute masterpiece.”

“And you are my only eternity, Julian,” I swore without really meaning to sound so smooth, and I wrapped my arms all the way around his thick neck, pulling his towering flawless face back down to mine, like it was the only direction that made sense.

He lifted me like I weighed nothing, just swept me off my feet, carryin g me across the pristine marble floor toward that plush massive king sized bed.

Our celebration of absolute reign was completely unchained, deeply sensual, and somehow also heavily romantic. We utterly surrendered to the dark unbreakable obsession that had stitched us together from the very first moment we met, out on the ice.

No more rivals. No more wars.

And later, after everything, I lay perfectly against Julian’s broad heavily scarred chest, in that quiet aftermath, wrapped in the luxurious warmth of our sanctuary, while I looked out at the freezing majestic peaks of the Swiss Alps.

The Golden Boy who had lost his Olympic dream was already gone.

What was left was the absolute untouchable Mafia Consort, resting in the arms of the terrifying dictator of the underworld. We shattered the whole earth, rebuilt it into our own dark style, and locked in a bloodline that would rule, forever, no arguments.

The ice had finally melted, and our eternity was absolutely, flawlessly ours.
