Chapter 58

Brielle.....

She just got off the phone with Giovanni and although she's glad they spoke a part of her is still on edge,and she has no idea why. The place is heavily guarded not to mention Rocco is here too so she shouldn't be so anxious and worried.

Deciding a shower will ease her and take her mind of things she began to strip herself naked and head over to the bathroom,inside she took a nice hot shower to calm herself.She has no idea how long she took but a knock on the door made her get out,wearing a towel around herself she exit the shower stall and went to look who's at the door.

"Alessio."She said surprised."You should be in bed."

"Can't sleep mom."He said and strolled past her to throw himself on the bed."Can I stay here for a while."

"It's okay."She told him."What's wrong?"

"Nothing."He said on a sigh.

"Do you miss your dad."She stroked his hair,he turned away from her touch.

"No."He said again,without adding anything further.

"Well since I see you not ready to talk let me finish up dressing." She waited for him to say something but when he didn't she walked over to the closet and took out a night dress before slipping it on. When she came out fully dressed she found him lying in the very same position as she left him.

"Something bad is gonna happen."He said breaking the silence."I can feel it mom and I don't want you to get hurt.I don't wanna lose you or dad."

Brie embraced him."You not gonna lose any of us and your dad won't ever let anything happen to us.Don't be afraid of anything uncle Rocco is here and your dad ensured that this place is very secured,so no one will get to us here."

Brie lovingly kissed his forehead."I know dad will protect us." Brie gets the feeling he isn't convinced,and despite trying to assure Alessio her fears aren't going away either,but she can't doubt Giovanni he wouldn't have brought them here if it wasn't safe for them.So she has to believe in that.

"You can sleep here tonight if you want."She suggested."Where's your sister?"

"Asleep in abuelita's room."He replied.

"Come on,let's get you to bed."She opened up the blankets so he can climb inside."I'll be right here until you fall asleep."She promised. It didn't take him long to fall asleep,and when she is certain he won't wake up,she slowly moved away from him to wear her gown and head downstairs to look for Rocco.

She asked one of the guards and he told her Rocco is in the camera room,making her way over there she found him sitting in front of a huge screen showing multiple cameras each having a clear view of the entire house and farm."What's wrong Brie?"He asked when he saw her.

"Nothing.Thought you might need company."She sat down in the chair that's next to him.

"That's nice of you but I need to work."He shot a quick look in her direction before looking at this iPad again."Boss is gonna kill me if I slack on this."

"What you busy with?"She tried to take a peek at what he's doing on his iPad but he quickly turned it away from her."Why don't you want me to look."She asked.

"It's work Brie."He said again,shutting it down before placing it on the table."You need to leave now."Brie looked at him warily.

A guard came in and stood next to her."You not serious!"She said aghast when she caught on the guard is there to escort her out of the room.

"I'm sorry Brie."He said apologetically."But work needs my attention now and boss wouldn't want you to be in here."

Brie looked at him in shock,she can see there's something he doesn't want her to know about that's why he wants her to leave but clearly Rocco doesn't know who Brielle Baker is.She'll leave.... For now,but she'll certainly come back without him knowing.

When she went back inside she bumped into Paula."You worried?" Paula said looking at her.

Brie nodded."A little."

"Has Giovanni assigned someone to train you?"

Train her?Brie looked at her skeptical."No."

"Every woman in this kind of world needs to know how to defend herself, you never know in what kind of situation you'll find yourself in.We'll need to start your training immediately.Meet me tomorrow morning early in the kitchen I'll have one of my husband's very best fighters teach you."

She turned to leave,leaving Brie to stare after her.Training? She's not unfit but she gets the feeling this training will be anything but usual,these men are physically fit and she's seen how they train it's hardcore she wonders how she'll survive and come out of this alive.

Shaking her head she continued her way to her room where she still found her son fast asleep,she might as well join him seeing as it's past nine already.She mustn't forget about Rocco and going there to give him another surprise visit.She is curious as to know what he's doing in there....or should she say them.That ear piece she had seen in his ear didn't go unnoticed by her and the way he was busy on his iPad tells her that what ever it is....it's important.

Giovanni.....

Giovanni slowly rolled up the sleeves of his black dress shirt,any second now then his murderer of a father and his traitorous uncle will be here.It wasn't even that hard to get them,the two of them had been sitting inside a bar and drinking Scotch probably concocting their next moves on how to bring him down.

When his men had approached them they had willingly complied.... Now all that's left is for them to arrive,his fingers trailed across every weapon on the table,the fun that is about to begin."Is everything set?"He asked Rocco.

"As soon as they arrive then I'll sent the live feed to all your uncles and any high ranking member in the Mafia organization.Including your father's father."

He knows his nonno will probably hate him after what he's about to do to his son but he doesn't give a shit.His father's first mistake is killing his mother and having no remorse for his actions the second is messing with his business and still continuing his trafficking business of women and young girls after he had told him to stop.

Victor Valetti is one sick bastard and he regrets ever having him as a father but he will never be like him despite being a cold animal and having no feelings what so ever when it comes to torturing and killing his victims and today everyone will see that El Diablo is back and ready to destroy anything that stands in his way....

Lifting up the machete he examined it....just then he hears the door of the basement open and footsteps following,a smile spread across his face.It's about to go down he thought as he hears how his father is protesting."Giovanni?"Victor says fearfully."What the hell is going on?Why am I here after you told me not to set foot here again."

Setting the machete down he slowly walked over to his father and stared him dead on in the eye."All in due time father....take a seat." He gestured with his hand to the two chairs that's not far from each other."You too uncle."Gio has never seen his uncle like this.....so terrified....but yet again not everyone had the privilege of meeting El Diablo and today these bastards will get to experience first-hand what he's capable of."You may go."He told Tino."I'll handle this from here on.Be on standby."

Without questioning him Tino excused himself and closed the door behind him.Gio entered a code making the door lock."Why are we here?"His big mouth of a uncle asked.

Gio smiled sickly as he turned to face them both,cocking his head from side to side he gave them both a deadly glare.Taking his gun he shot each of them in the leg making them groan in pain, clutching his leg his father fell to the ground."What the fuc-" But his father didn't get to finish his sentence because Giovanni landed a punch straight on his jaw causing Victor to fall down.

When he lifted his face blood spilled out of his mouth."Last time I checked....I'm the boss here,the head of this family.So just because you my father doesn't mean you get to disrespect me."He shot a cold look in his uncle direction."Same applies to you uncle Toni.... Now let's try this again.Sit down.I won't ask so nicely again, instead I'll order my gun to do all the talking."

He watched as both of them struggle to lift themselves up and sit on the chairs."You both know why you are here and I would advice you not to waste my time by feeding me lies it will only make me angrier and prolong your punishment of torture."

"T-tor-ture....."His uncle Toni stuttered in fear."Capo...."

"Oh now I'm suddenly your Capo."Gio spat mockingly."Now a bell has finally rang inside your head to alert you that I'm your CAPO.... Oh uncle Toni...."He tutted."Little....too late."

"You not getting anything out of me."His father threw at him, defiance and hatred burning inside his eyes."Kill me and my son will avenge me by taking your puttana and destroying her just like I did with that pathetic useless mother of yours."
