Chapter 0233

I knew it was a reach but he was already on a sloppy hill, and this is the one thing I have always wanted to know, if he was the one that killed her or not.

It looked like suicide, people believed she had a reason to. But I knew she wouldn't. She promised left without saying goodbye.

"I didn't kill her because of that." he yells.

Finally, the last string of his control snaps and he goes off.

stand by me and she wouldn't have

"She wanted to leave me, she wanted to take you away from me. You were like her but you were my SON. She had no right." He goes off screaming.

I see the big men he'd brought with him flinch when he starts hitting the walls. They share a look then step back, not intervening. "I was going to fix you, I would have fixed her and-"

"Do you not realize the only person that needs help is you?!" I growl him but he ignores me.

He doesn't stop hitting the wall. His yelling about my mother changes and turns into something else, I stop listening to him at some point.

I didn't even know what to feel, hearing that he killed her just like I suspected and covered it up. if there ever was a chance I was going to let him get away when I was out of here, finding that out changes everything.

I know I promised her I wouldn't cross that line that she drew for me about killing him.

But I can't call myself her son if I let the man that killed her go scot-free. It is worse knowing he didn't kill her just once. The last one was just the final straw. He had been killing her slowly since they first met.

And I vow to get revenge for her.

That being said, I will my wolf to come forward and I relish control to him. He feels this more than I do, and he deserves his closure too. My body changes, bones snapping but never really shifting. I break out of the restraints, my body getting bigger and it being unable to hold me back. The chair breaks and falls into pieces when I roar and pull myself off of it.

I grab one of the men by the throat, about to snap it.

Something catches my eyes in the distance and it feels like I'm staring into heaven when I see Feyre running towards me. Her wild eyes are right on me.

She grabs the other man from behind, snapping his neck before he even notices he is in danger. She goes and does the same to the other man, then she stands back, watching me.

"What? Do you need my help, alpha?" she drawls.

I don't have to be told twice, I squeeze my hand around his throat, feeling when I crush his windpipes then I let him fall to the floor.

At the same time, we turn to the man who orchestrated this all. He is done screaming at the wall and is sitting on the ground now. He is looking at us, looking through us would be the right word.

"What? So, you kill me now?" he mocks.

Feyre steps forward, stopping only a few feet away from him.

"No, you're going to tell me who killed my parents first, then I'll leave that judgment to your son." She cranes her neck toward me as she says that.

I can't take my eyes away from her.

If I didn't already know before, I do right now. I'm madly in love with this woman.
