Arav's POV
Dad entered into the car, I also followed him into the car.
DHIRAJ : Son, the marriage will not get cancel. You have to marry her.
What??? What is this mean? How can he accept me to marry a underage girl? This is totally illegal. I can’t marry her.
ARAV : dad! How can you say this? She is underage. This is completely illegal.
Dad looked at me with a irritating face.
DHIRAJ : do you think I will let you do anything illegal?
ARAV : Then why are you telling me to marry that girl?
DHIRAJ : because it will not be illegal. She isn’t underage.
ARAV : what? She isn’t underage? But she looks like 15 or 16 years old.
DHIRAJ : yeah she looks like but that doesn’t mean she actually is. Last month she has become a adult. She is now 18. So it’s not illegal to marry her.
What? She is 18 ? But she isn’t look like… but so what she is an adult? She is only 18 and I am 32, how can dad allow this marriage?
ARAV : dad, even if she is an adult. I can’t marry her.
Dad looked at me frowningly…
DHIRAJ : why? Why can’t you marry her? You have to.
I was stunned hearing this. What??? How can he say that?
ARAV : You are asking me why?? Dad, for god sake! She is just 18 … and I am 32 !!! Don’t you think this is extreme. We have 14 years age gap between us. Do you want me to babysit my wife after marriage?
DHIRAJ : yes I know 14 years is a huge gap… but when they have no problem in your and their daughter age gap, what is your problem?
ARAV : what is my problem! You are asking me what is my problem?? Dad it’s 14 years… not 4 year!!!
DHIRAJ : Don’t look at the age… age is just a number. Your mom and I also have 7 years age gap.
ARAV : Dad! 14 is 7’s double!!
I said frustratedly… I am now little angry at him. How can he accept me to marry that girl… argh woman… how could her agree on this?
DHIRAJ : Exactly Son, 14 it’s just 7’s double… it’s not a big deal… and when they have no problem what is your problem. At least you should be thankful that someone is ready to give his precious daughter to a person like you. Otherwise the reputation you have made during these years, no father is ready to give their daughter to you and her daughter also likes you. She is also ready to marry you.
Exactly that’s the point. When no one wants their daughter to marry me after knowing about me then why Mr. Agarwal and his wife agreed to give their this little adorable, beautiful daughter’s hand to me after knowing everything. What is their motive? They are not lack of money... Is they doing it for more money and power? Because otherwise I am not able to find any reason. Why this girl… uff Woman… why she agree? I am so much older than her… she is so beautiful I am sure no man would have rejected her hand then why me?? What did she want? Is she also like a gold digger like 'that woman'? What is her motive?
I am sure without any motive she isn’t marrying me. I thought she is an innocent girl. But now I think she is not as innocent as she look. There is a dangerous woman behind this innocent, lovely face.
Whatever woman! Whatever your motive is… I will not let you succeed. I will not fall for your trap just like my brother had fallen for that woman. I will make sure you will regret for even thinking about marrying me.
