Chapter 30: let's rise baby

‘I am outside,’ the text on the screen made Nayera pick up her bag and look for the pair of heels she had taken out earlier.

Her toe looked okay to her; she winched as she tried to stand on her heels. Taking a deep breath, she let her shoulders straighten and walked out of her room.

She was about to open the door when her eyes went to Nihalika’s room. She had to hurt her to save her the details she should not know.

A tear escaped her eyes as she took a deep breath. Hurt from parents can sometimes make you so bitter that you forget the difference between right and wrong.

Wiping the tear off with her thumb, she opened the door with a smile and looked at Kush waiting for her in his car.

He was leaning against the door of his car with sunglasses on his gloss. Nayera shook her head as she walked towards him and pulled the glasses off his face.

“What are you doing? They are my favorite glasses,” he said as she kept the glasses back in his hands.

“It's night, sunglasses are for when the sun is in the sky, not when it is shining over the other part of the world,” Nayera said as Kush starched the back of his neck.

“get in,” he said getting to the driver's side as Nayera stared at him.

“Where are your manners? A gentleman always opens the door for a lady,” She said as he shook his head and kept his hands on the roof of the car.

Folding them, he looked at her, “I am anything but a gentle princess,” he said, winking in her direction as she narrowed her eyes at him.

“I wonder if you can even make anyone cum with those fingers,” She said as she copied his comments.

“You will know when you will be screaming princess,” he said as he clenched and unclenched his fist, showing the veins of his hands.

“Gym hands huh? Doesn't describe strength, Mr.” She said as she smirked.

“Well, we have a car, you and me and this night, want to give it a try?” he winked as Nayera laughed.

“If you offer like this no girl will ever let you bang her,” She said, opening her side of the door as Kush did the same.

“People fall for my looks, princess,” he said as he put the car in the ignition.

Nayera put the seatbelt on and Kush did the same. “Where to?” He asked as they drove away.

“You sent me a list of malls where the sales were high, right? Drive there,” She said as she nodded, speeding off in that direction.

They were crossing the jungle when Nayera’s phone pinged, “STOP! STOP! STOP! “ she exclaimed as Kush hurriedly pressed the brakes.

The speed was so fast that Nayera’s head was about to bang against the windshield but Kush put his hand on her chest and held her before it could happen.

“What the fuck was that Era?” He asked; his hand still on her chest as she breathed out the shock in her veins and looked at him.

She pushed his hand off her chest as he pressed his lips into a thin line.

“I asked you to stop the car not to pull the brakes so hard that I banged my head against the glass!” She said, throwing her hands in the air dramatically.

“Oh hello, I am the one who saved you just now, okay?” He said, making her glare at him.

“Keeping your hands against my chest, I see how you *just * saved me,” She said, quoting the ‘just’ word, making gestures with her fingers.

Kush glared at her, “Yeah, so, how else was I supposed to save your stupid ass?” he asked.

“You just did not call me stupid? Did you?” she was challenging him to say the words on her face as he smirked.

“I did not call you stupid, I called you stupid ass,” he said as she glared at him.

“YOU—“ Nayera was about to go into full anger mode when a knock on the window of the car stopped their argument in the middle as they looked at each other with one last glare before Nayera rolled the window down.

“Mam, the team is waiting,” The guy said to her as she nodded.

“Give us a moment,” She said before rolling the window up. She looked at him as he stared at her with a calm look on his face.

The guy walked away as she started speaking, “First of all, we need a cover-up, we can’t roam in your fancy car and not get noticed,” Kush looked at her for a moment.

“I agree,” he said with a nod.

“Next, as per the plan, my team will go randomly to the stores and ask for your brand, “she said as he nodded.

“Some people in all shops at the same time will make things suspicious,” he said as she nodded.

“Agree, that is why, throughout this week, the demand will rise slowly. Then I hired influencers to make videos asking for clothes from your brand, that will make the media hype about you,” she explained as he nodded.

“Noted, but all the demand from the same area or in the same state will make it look planned,” he pointed out as she nodded.

“I know that is why all the shopping sights and stores will be equally targeted,” she said as he nodded.

“Let’s hope for the best and prepare for the worst because this could go wrong as well,” he said as she nodded.

“I know, Kush, there is a risk, but I will make sure nothing goes wrong,” she said as he nodded.

“Now it's time to change cars,” Nayera said as she tried to unbuckle the seatbelt. Kush undid him as he looked at her and shook his head.

“Miss Ladaku does not know how to undo the seatbelt hmm?” he taunted her as she narrowed her eyes at him.

“If you would, instead of talking, you’d help me, things would be a lot easier for me,” She said as he leaned over and helped her undo the seatbelt.

“You can’t admit it when you need help, right?” He asked as he locked the car and got out of it.

“I do,” *but just in front of the mirror* she said in her mind and looked at him with a smile.

“Thank you,” She said all of a sudden as he looked at her, raising his eyebrows as if asking ‘ For what?’

“for not letting my head slam into the windshield,” he said as he made a dramatic face.

“Era, The Nayera Garg is admitting to be thankful to me? Wow!” he said as she shook her head.

“I may be arrogant and a devil, but I have never been ungrateful, so thank you,” She said with a small smile as he nodded.

“Let’s rise baby!” he said, raising his hand in the air as she smiled and gave him a high-five.

“It's showtime,” she said to herself as he nodded. Finally, it was time for step two of her plan.
