Chapter 215: starting

“Why are you here, it's not yet time” Sonia said as she give way for Layla to enter as it was as if the moment Layla saw her message, she quickly left lecture and came here.

“To see you of course and is it really true that Margaret was hospitalized and you were told by Antonio grandfather to leave the mansion” Layla said as the moment she saw the message, she was shocked as all these happened in one night.

“ Yes, and the worst was that Antonio confess that he didn't love me and he didn't even object to me leaving” Sonia said as even though she was trying to forget about his words by indulging herself in work. Sonia could not shake the look on his face when he uttered those words in front of his family.

“I told you that loving a man like Antonio was a disease but I am quite surprised because you are taking the no love well than I anticipated” Layla said as she was surprised that Sonia was not crying at the moment. From her past experiences with Sonia, Layla knew that she was a person that will fall sick and cry daily while remembering her sweet moments with her lover. But Layla was surprised that she Sonia was not crying or restless instead she was completely fine as if a man didn't break her heart. Layla could see that Sonia was growing and also maturing in put mind and heart.

“I came to the conclusion that no matter what I do and how much I give my body to him, he won't love me Layla. I don't want to be hurt by any man again

because an so tired to be treated as a second companion” Sonia said as she signed and she also remembered the time she had cried because of Nico but now she was strong and she won't cry for someone that didn't even live her because all he ever wanted was her body. Sonia was tired of people not putting her first in there life.

“That's the spirit girl, am do proud of you, normally I taught you will be in had state of cry nightmare” Layla said smiling as she was proud of Sonia because she was now realizing that sometimes, things that you value and desperately wanted don't come your way. One just have to move on with life and hope for the best.

“Now that everything is settled, I got you a job at one of my favorite restaurant but we have to go there because the manager wanted to see you” Layla said as immediately Sonia send her a message about wanting to find a job, Layla called in for a favor in one of her favorite restaurant as Layla knew that the job was just a temporary one until Sonia graduates.

“Really, thank you so much and let go now because I currently don't have anything to do” Sonia said as she was happy and excited because she taught that she would have to go out and search for a job from one place to another until at least one accept her but Layla made it so easy and saving her time to rest. They both left the apartment and heard down stairs until they arrived at Layla car. After entering the car, the car left the neighborhood and after a few minutes the car arrived at the restaurant. Layla stepped out of the car followed by Sonia as she wanted to see the place she would be working.

“Wow this place is really magnificent, and the design are eye-catching” Sonia praised the place as they both entered the restaurant and she could see the people were enjoying there food, while some who came with companion were indulge in discussions.

“Good afternoon ma, how can I help you?” A waitresses hearing white and black uniform said as she walk towards them with a smile.

“Oh, I have had appointment with the manager. Tell him that Layla is here” Layla said as she stared at the waitress and gave her smile.

“ Yes ma, please take a seat for now” the waitress said as she head toward her destination which was the back door on the left side. Sonia staring at the waitress leaving from the back door, knew that the door was were the employee came from the serve the customer. Sonia scanned the restaurant which was decorated with flowers at the entrance and also since the restaurant was among one of the most expensive restaurants in the country.  The design of the place which was decorated with white and black was mature and classy that one will stare at it for a long time before even eating the food serve.

“ How did you even know the manager of the restaurant” Sonia said as she stared at Layla and she was curious to know how Layla was able to know the manager.

“ Well my family usually eat here and since my dad was famous, of course we will know the manager” Layla said as she smiled at Sonia who was still staring at the restaurant with amazement.

“You're the best layla” Sonia said as she was extremely happy because this kind of  restaurant always pay well and that pay could sustain her until she find a well pay job after graduation.

“ So you didn't know, I was the best. How hurtful” Layla said as she rolled her eyes and shake her head as she wonder what Sonia was thinking of her all this time.

“ The manager will see you now, please follow me” The waitress said as she stood in front of them. Sonia and Layla stared at the waitress as they were surprised as they did not see her coming. After those words of the waitress, them both followed the waitress through the back door and head to the stairs until they arrived at the door.  The waitress knocked the door once and a voice was heard from the other side if the office.  The door was opened by the waitress and them walked into the office leaving the waitress outside.

“ It’s so nice to see you again Mrs Mira” Layla said as she took a seat opposite Mrs mira who was smiling.

“Likewise, you've grown to be a beautiful young lady now and maybe soon to be married” Mrs Mira said as she stared at Layla before looking at Sonia who was seating down close to Layla.

“Good afternoon ma, my name is Sonia” Sonia said as she was stunned that the manager was a woman but she was also happy that the manager was approachable.

“ So your the one that need a job?” Mrs Mira said as she stared at Sonia and she could not removed her eyes from her. In all her life she had never seen such beauty until now.

“ Yes ma” Sonia smiled while replying as she noticed that the manager was staring at her but she didn't mind because she was the one needing a job.

“We have the perfect job for you, you will be taking customer orders. The waitress that accompany you will inform you of your duties” Mrs Mira said as she was pleased with Sonia face as she knew that it could bring more customers to the restaurant.
