Chapter 47: College
“Oh baby, you're making me hard. I love it rough.” Jeff said.
“Stay the hell away from me you pervert!” MJ said.
MJ group texts Jared and Jessi and Jake. Jared is fuming. Jake is watching for Jessi. Keeping his eyes out for the perv. After school the perv follows MJ and Jessi outside.
“So, babe, what time?” Jeff the pervert asked.
“I told you half past never you damn creep!” MJ said.
Jake laughed. He heard what she said. Jessi was walking beside her and laughed too. Jared was not amused.
“Hey asswipe! I think my girl answered you twice or more now!” Jared yelled.
Jared met them halfway. As soon as MJ and Jessi were past him, he grabs him by his shirt.
“You ever put a hand on my girl again and you’ll be living in a cast for 6 weeks!” Jared said.
“Who the hell are you?” Jeff shouted.
“I’m her college boyfriend. Touch her again and you’ll find out what I’ll do.” Jared said.
“Whatever, get your hands off me.” Jeff said.
Jared lets him go so quickly he falls on his butt. A crowd of people laugh at him. He gets up and walks away. MJ, Jessi, and Jake finish school and graduate.
College time for MJ, Jessi, and Jake. Marty, Jared, Dalton, and Madison are finishing their first year.
Summer came and MJ went to cheer camp at Clemson. She was gone for 4 days. Jared called and texted every day. He was waiting for her when she pulled into her driveway. By the time her car was put in park he was opening her door.
“I missed you so much!” Jared said.
“I missed you too.” MJ said.
“Here.” Jared handed her a letter.
“Omg you got in!” MJ screamed.
“Yep, you’re looking at the newest Clemson Tiger.” Jared said.
“I need to ask you a serious question.” MJ said.
“What?” Jared asked.
“Well, you know.” MJ started out.
Just then her parents Addie and Cage came out of the house. They walked over to her both hugging her.
“Honey, so glad you’re home! How did you like the university tour?” Addie asked.
“It was great mom.” MJ said.
“We found you, Marty, and Jessi an apartment. 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, and only 5 miles from campus.” Cage replied.
“That sounds great dad.” MJ said.
“Dinner will be ready in a few minutes. Jared, you're welcome to stay of course.” Addie explained.
They go into the house and eat dinner. Later they are sitting around the fire pit. Addie and Cage finally go to bed.
“Now I am dying to know what you wanted to tell me.” Jared said.
“I was going to say we get an apartment together. But since mom, dad, Aunt Paris, and Uncle Zeke got us an apartment, I want you to move in with me.” MJ said.
“What?” Jared replied.
“I want you to move in with me in our new apartment.” MJ repeated.
“Are you sure?” Jared asked.
“200% sure.” MJ said.
“What about Marty?” Jared asked.
“Well don’t say anything but Madi is moving in with him.” MJ said.
“Wow, but still.” Jared said.
“Look he can’t say anything to me about having a live in lover when he will have one.” MJ said.
“Ooh and who is this “live in lover”?” Jared said.
“You know what I mean. Yes, you’re my boyfriend, but that doesn’t seem to describe it enough.” MJ said.
“Okay.” Jared said.
“Okay?” MJ asked.
“Yes, one condition. We tell him before we do it.” Jared said.
“Deal.” MJ said.
MJ and Jared pack and move to the new apartment. Marty and Madi had already moved in. At first Marty protested about Jared, but when MJ reminded him about Madi he relented. Paris and Bishop had brought Jessi up the day before.
“How did I get so lucky to have you in my arms every night?” Jared asked.
“I think I’m the lucky one. My own personal bodyguard.” MJ said.
“Yes, I’ll guard your body with my life.” Jared said.
“Okay rules no excessive PDA in the living room or kitchen. Keep that stuff in the bedroom.” Marty stated,
“Fine, same goes for you and Madi.” MJ said.
“I forgot how much of a brat you are.” Marty stated.
“Hey, I didn’t make the rule, you did!” MJ said.
“She got you there, babe!” Madi laughed.
The first day of college for MJ and Jessi starts out ok. MJ met a new friend named Sam. Jared and Marty meet two girls they don't like. But who seem to have their sites set on the boys. There's also a new admirer for MJ.
"Hi, I'm Sam." The girl introduced.
"I'm MJ." MJ replied.
"I see we have several classes together, and I'm on the cheer squad also." Sam explained.
"That's great! And we both have red hair. What are the odds?" MJ asked.
The girls go to cheer practice. The guys were walking out of one classroom talking. They were going over their schedules.
"Hey bro, what's your next class?" Marty asked.
"Let me look." Jared replied.
"Well, hello! I'm Lexie." Some girl replied.
"And I'm Rebekah. What's your names?" Another girl with her asked.
"I'm Marty and this is my best bud, Jared." Marty replied.
"Well nice to meet you guys! This is my best girl, so how about we double tonight?" Lexie asked.
"Sorry but no. We're both in committed relationships." Jared replied.
"Yeah, we're living with our girlfriends, so that ain't happening." Marty agreed.
"For now." Lexie muttered.
"What a shame." Rebekah remarked.
"Darlin, I know you could do much better. Like me, I'm rich and drop dead gorgeous." Lexie replied.
"Yeah, I don't think so. My girlfriend is drop dead gorgeous and the love of my life. And she's not stuck on herself. I am not interested at all." Jared retorted.
"Me either. My girl rocks my world in every way. And neither of you can hold a candle to her. Now, move along." Marty ordered.
The guys walk around them and head off to class. They're talking about how full of themselves those girls were. Later they are at football practice and the girls are at cheer practice. During a water break, Marty and Jared hear some guy talking about a red head.
"Man, this red head was smoking hot. I'll be in her pants in no time bro, just you wait and see." The guy laughed.
One of his buddies laughed with him. A few others just shake their heads. They drink their water and then head back to the field. Marty and Jared stared at each other.
"You don't think he means MJ, do you?" Jared asked.
"Man, I doubt it. I'm sure she's not the only red head here. What are the odds?" Marty asked.
A couple of days later, Sam, MJ, Jessi, and Madi are hanging out at the mall. There are two women sitting at the next table talking. The girls can hear everything they are saying. It doesn't take long for them to realize they are talking about Jared and Marty and them.
