Gabriel's Family

Chapter 35: Gabriel’s POV

I tried to hurry and eat my dinner as quickly as I could, I need to mindlink my parents and my sisters and have them meet me in my office.

“Mom, dad would you meet me in my office in 20 minutes? Also, get Heather and Layla, Aria is ready to meet y’all,” I said excitedly. “Oh, my goddess son, we can’t wait; see you in a bit,” my mother said practically squealing in my ear.

I end the mindlink and I see Aria looking at me, “Who were you talking to?”

“I was just letting my family know to come to my office in a few so they could meet you,” I say trying to keep my excitement in. “Okay, I’m nearly done eating. We’ll go up in a bit,” she said eating her food a bit faster. Once Aria was done eating, she went to say goodnight to her friends and everyone else.

We then walked to the elevator together and she began squeezing my hand, her being nervous was so adorable. But I know my sisters, they will want to take her away from me the moment she enters the room. They all have been waiting a long time for my mate, especially my parents I know after tonight they will never leave her alone.

The elevator doors open, and I can hear her heart beating faster, “If you start to feel like this is too much or you’re starting to feel uncomfortable, please let me know. I want you to make it as comfortable as possible,” I say as we walk to my office. She nods her head, well here goes nothing.

I open the doors and I let her in first, my family looks in awe when they see her. “My dear, it’s nice to finally meet you!” my mother said walking to her and giving her a hug. “Son, we’re all happy to see you found your mate,” my father says hugging me as well. I see in the corner of my office my sisters waiting patiently for my parents to be done so they can see Aria.

“Aria, love, this is my mother and father, Julie and Robert,” I say with excitement as Aria smiles nervously. “It’s nice to meet you both. I’m sorry we couldn't have met any sooner,” she says. “It’s alright my dear, we understand leaving your pack isn’t easy. But I hope my son can make you at home,” my father said. “Thank you, sir and ma’am,” she bows to my parents. “Please call us by our names or mom and dad. Whatever you feel most comfortable with,” my mom playfully says.

“Okay, mom and dad, we want to meet her too!” my sisters say impatiently. “Aria, these are my sisters, Heather and Layla. Girls, meet your sister-in-law,” I say then suddenly pushed away to make room for them to hug Aria.

“You have no idea how happy we are to finally meet you!” Layla says. “When we saw you in the front yard, I like noo wayy… and Gabe told us who you were, I almost lost it!” Heather squealed. “I’m sorry we can be a lot so get used to it. We can’t wait to spend one on one time with you! How about tomorrow? We can go shopping and we can get to know each other!” they ask Aria. “Yeah, that will be great, but can my friends come? I wouldn’t feel right leaving them our especially since we’re all new here and would give them the chance to see the kingdom,” Aria asks. “Of course, the more the merrier!” Heather said with a big smile on her face.

Seeing my family getting along with Aria makes me so happy, not only finding her but that she’s been accepted by my family. As her family has done for me, it’s nice to see it with my own eyes.

Arianna’s POV:

His sisters are squeezing me so tightly; that I could barely breathe. “Why don't you tell us all about yourself?” his sister Layla asked. “Okay, well I’m the daughter of our pack’s Beta. My father’s name is Damian and my stepmom’s name is Marie, I also have 2 siblings: an older brother, Nathaniel, and my stepsister, Isabella. I’m a student teacher, a warrior fighter, I had a mate but was rejected…Umm,” I couldn’t think of anything else but then one of his sisters interrupted me.

“You had a mate? Why did he reject you?!” Heather asked eagerly. “He rejected me because he found someone else in his pack to be and didn’t want to be with me,” I said calmly knowing it doesn’t hurt anymore to talk about it. “Wow, you are so strong. But hey that guy didn’t know what he lost,” she says pulling for me.

“Yeah, and I know he wouldn’t make me as happy as Gabe has,” I say happily looking at him. Gabe walks over to me and puts his hand on my shoulder, “And I can tell you that I have never been happier,” I blush at his comment. “Well, hopefully soon we can go down to your pack and meet your family. Who knew that Gabriel was going over there to help your pack with the rogue attacks and come back with his mate!” his mother said cheerfully.

“May I say I was a bit nervous meeting y’all. Meeting the royal family is one of the scariest things I thought I would ever encounter,” I say trying to play it off. “We don’t bite I promise,” Layla played along with me.

“Well, my dear, now that we have finally met you and as tradition, we are going to throw you a ball of meeting our new queen, how does next week sound?” his father said proudly. “That sounds perfect. Gabe told me about it and I was scared but now I’m really excited about it!”

I couldn’t contain my excitement. A ball is being thrown for Gabe and me, crowned King and Queen. I can picture it now, standing on a stage standing proudly wearing our crowns; waving at the crowd as they bow to us. I’m so lost in thought that Gabe had to snap me back to reality, “I’m sorry I was lost in thought,” I apologized.

“Oh honey, you’re fine and besides it’s getting late. Why don’t we all turn in and you can get some rest. Something tells me that you will need it for tomorrow especially going shopping with these two,” his mother jokingly said.

“Yeah, we should go and get some sleep. It was lovely meeting y’all,” I say hugging them goodbye.

“If you think we’re going to sleep, you are sorely mistaken,” Gabe said mind linking. “Oh, well see,” I said while winking at him. He looked at me like he wanted to eat me up. After saying our goodbyes we went upstairs and who am I kidding, we weren’t going to sleep.
