Chapter 135: The Bargain
Astra looked away remembering how painful that experience was. She thought that she had been punished enough. “When are you going to let me leave? Don’t you think I’ve received enough pain from you?”
Chaos sat up angrily. “You are here forever. Your punishments will never make up for the killing of my minions. Do you really think that I am a forgiving King?”
Astra was stunned. Then his words penetrated her mind and she was 4in disbelief. Her heart ached. She didn’t want to be in constant pain that was cast on her at his whimsy. She wanted to be with Marcus. She missed him so much.
She tried to calm herself and be brave but her emotions surfaced and she couldn’t control them any longer. She looked away from Chaos so he wouldn’t see the tears forming. He grabbed her chin and forced her to face him. The tears fell from her eyes down her face. She tried to brush them away, but he held her hands so she couldn’t.
“Finally. I was wondering how long it was going to take before you broke down. Your spirit held longer than I thought it would but I finally broke you.” He spoke with triumph in his voice. “You have been defeated. Admit this to me and I might think about releasing you.”
He looked at her waiting for her response. She looked into his eyes seeing the triumph on his face. The look in his eyes made her realize she was a warrior and she would never let him know that he had broken her down. She sat up straighter and he knew that she had regained her spirit and her pride.
“I see you have recovered your dignity and spirit. I now know that you can be defeated but now I think you need some more punishment.” He smiled at the look of disbelief on her face. “The expressions on your face are very stimulating to me. Once I am turned on though, there is only one way that I get relief.”
Astra looked down at his huge member and saw it had grown enormously. Her eyes widened and she tried to turn from his embrace. He grasped her before she could escape. “Where do you think you’re going? You will stay right here and pleasure me. If it’s painful, so be it. It is not painful for me.”

He contemplated her question. What would it take for him to release her?
He didn’t expect her to be happy down here, but it made him happy to have her with him. He knew she couldn’t last to long without sunshine to replenish her body.
Could he share her with her mate? Let her be with him part of the year and then release her to her mate the rest of the year?
Something to consider. He’d need to think about it more. He knew as a human that she needed to be above ground to soak up the rays of the sun, and down here, that was impossible. He wanted her to stay healthy and she needed to be exposed to the sun for that. If she wasn’t healthy, she wouldn’t be able to keep up with his needs. He had taken other women captive but he didn’t even consider them to be long term.
Astra was a different story. He felt such a close connection to her and wanted her to be with him. He decided he needed to put the idea before her and see what her reaction would be.
He looked for her and found her in the library again relaxing on the chaise lounge. He hesitated before he approached her. The thought of never seeing her again struck deeply into his soul. She was so beautiful with an inner strength that made her who she was.
Finally, he felt able to approach her. She looked up when he sat down beside her. He looked at her until she lowered her eyes. He took her hand in his. “I’ve thought about it and I think I’ve come up with a solution for your release.”
She looked up at him with hope in her eyes. “I know you want to be with your mate but the thought of never seeing you again is repellent to me. It is something I can not accept. I will agree to release you to your mate as long as you return here also. You can be above ground for part of the year then return here for part of the year. What do you think about this compromise?”
Astra sat up quickly, her expression of happiness clear on her face. “Would you really be agreeable to that?”
Chaos nodded. “You need to be happy and healthy. As a human, you require sun in order to be healthy.” he replied. “Also, you need to be healthy to keep up with my sexual energy.” He chuckled as he saw her face turn red. “I also want to be able to communicate with you while you are above ground. Are you willing to give that to me?”
Astra didn’t need to think twice. She had felt a bond develop between them. A bond that she wanted to keep. “I find that agreeable and I accept your proposal.”
