Chapter 114

She screamed as the treacherous beast opens it's mouth to devour her.

She closes her eyes to accept her fate of dying, when suddenly an obstruction occurred.

Other werewolves fight to have her as their meal.

In other to preserve her as his meal, the former drops Julie on the floor and fights with the others.

Julie crawls away quickly to run to safety while the werewolves fought.

She was scared and trembling. She tried to keep calm as much as she can.

However, the predators figured her out and began chasing after her.

Once again she begins to yell and ran.

How could Damian have left her here to be killed.

Why didn't he do that on his own? She couldn't help but question herself.

She would have preferred other means of death than this.

She got to the stairs that led out of the basement and climbs out hurriedly.

She lifted the door, but it was locked.

"No, no!" she yelled and struggled to push the door harder.

Approaching growls kept on getting closer to her.

She breathes heavily and pleads for the door to open.

The growling became numerous, indicating that they were numerous.

She flung the lantern into the open pathway.

As the lantern fell on the middle of the pathway she saw wolf like humans.

They looked dangerous and ready to attack any given prey.

Julie gulped once more and began pacing back quickly while they moved forward hastily.

"Ah!" she screamed and ran through another pathway.

The werewolves chased after her immediately.

She ran back immediately hoping to escape from them, but eventually they caught up with her.

***

Damian was on his way headed back to the room where he left her, he heard scream from his distance and smiled mischievously.

It was almost full and only an amount of time before it becomes.

He had howls from distant location.

This is the night when werewolves turn into their original transformation.

They were usually brutal and even fight against each other to get advantage over their prey.

paused suddenly and recalled that he left Julie with werewolves in the room.

He had only instructed them to scare her, but not to hurt her.

"Julie" he muttered her name and increased his steps.

"Julie!" he suddenly yelled her name and ran back.

He began yelling her name as his legs swiftly carried him.

"I won't let any harm come to you Julie!" he muttered to himself as he approached the basement.

Wolves suddenly bursted out from different corners and stood to attack Damian.

"No you wouldn't dare" he pointed at them and commanded them to get out of his way.

They roared at him and began attacking.

He made a transformation and began countering their attacks.

They were numerous of them and almost no match for him.

He took them one at a time, but however they kept coming back.

He was angry at their return and made attempt to get rid of them totally.

Unfortunately, they all mounted on him and began biting him.

He wiggled them off, but their fangs held firmly to his skin and gave him no chance to fight back anymore.

He growled in pain and collapsed on the floor while they pounced on him.

Thoughts of Julie fluttered his mind. He cannot fail now when shes in need of help.

He jerks up at once, taking his attackers unaware as he puts some of them on the ground.

He abandons them and runs to save Julie from an attacker, but eventually, He was beaten and pulled down.

He roared at Julie trying to instruct her to run away.

Julie stood in shock, her hands and feet trembling to the ugly images she was seeing currently.

Julie's eyes widened in horror as she gazed upon the wolf's savage transformation. She had never seen anything like it before, and the sheer brutality of the wolf's appearance left her breathless.

The wolf's body had contorted and twisted, its limbs elongating and its senses heightening. Its fur stood on end, bristling with a fierce intensity that made Julie's skin crawl. The wolf's eyes glowed with a feral light, a primal savagery that seemed to burn with an inner fire.

Julie's mind recoiled in shock as she struggled to comprehend the sheer ferocity of the wolf's transformation. She had seen the wolf in its more docile state, but this...this was something entirely different. This was a creature driven by instinct and raw power, a force of nature that was both mesmerizing and terrifying.

As Julie stood there, frozen in shock, the wolf's gaze locked onto hers, its eyes burning with a fierce intensity. For a moment, Julie felt like she was staring into the very heart of the wolf, and what she saw there left her shaken to her core.

She suddenly snapped back to her senses and quickly opened the basement's door.

A wolf after and took her upon itself.

He shuts the door quickly to prevent the others from coming out.

Julie collapsed in his back and fell off the wolf's back.

He lifts her unto his back once more and runs away.

"You'll be fine Julie. I won't let anything happen to you" he assured while he ran swiftly with her.

But despite the physical changes, this particular wolf's mind remained surprisingly clear as he could recognize her.

Unlike the others, who seemed to lose themselves to their primal instincts, his consciousness remained intact.

He was aware of his surroundings, of the people and objects around him. He could see and hear with perfect clarity, and his thoughts remained rational and coherent. It was as if his human mind had somehow managed to adapt to his new wolf form, allowing him to retain his cognitive abilities.

As he looked around, he saw the others in their wolf forms, their eyes clouded with a feral intensity. They were driven solely by instinct, their actions guided by primal urges rather than rational thought. But he was different. He was still in control, still able to think and reason like a human.

It was a strange and disorienting feeling, being trapped in a wolf's body while still possessing a human mind. He was determined to take Julie out alive.

He knew that he had to find a way to communicate with the others as the alpha.

He ran swiftly while he held her firmly upon his back.

His hearts raced uncontrollably, and he was badly injured.

His healing process seem to be taking slow this time.

As soon as he came to a particular part outside the palace, he stopped and dropped Julie to lay on the floor.

He looked around to confirm if the location was safe.

Julie's eyelids fluttered shut, her body surrendering to exhaustion of much thinking. She had fallen asleep on the floor surrounded by the comforting familiarity of wolf who wasn't hurting her presence.

He sat beside her, watching as her chest rose and fell with each gentle breath. He couldn't help but smile at the peaceful expression on her face.

As he monitored her, his thoughts wandered how much she must have suffered for a day.

She had been struggling lately with her feelings, and he felt sorry for the person.

The swirling wind swept across the place as the cloud had gathered for a heavy downpour, giving signs of its wrath to the victims. It was going to rain.

The clouds had cover the moon and brough darkness to the night.

Her savior struggled with her as he was injured. He would have to take her back into the mansion, because that's the closest place to get shelter.

Although, it was risky to go back in there, but he was too weak to take her elsewhere. She was unconscious and needed treatment immediately.

He growls softly as the thunder grumbled, reminding him that it was about to rain.

He took her from thev groun with his fangs holding onto her cloth.

He ran inside with her.
