Chapter 103
"Hmm!" She grumbled as she rotated on the bed.
A sweet aroma couldn't stop to get her sniffing the bed. She finally gave in and woke up.
She escaped from her blanket and went to check it out.
The aroma seemed to be leading her to the kitchen area. There isn't no way she could resist such temptation. Besides, she hasn't eaten since morning.
"Awn!" She yawned loudly as she approached the kitchen.
She was in the kitchen before she even realized it.
Her eyes made a weird look at the fellow that was busy in the kitchen.
"Gosh! I'm starving" she wailed and peeped into what he was stirring. She rose her eye brows in surprise but didn't want to say a word to him.
She had guards following her to and fro everywhere she went.
Julie was quite fed up and tired of complaining.
"You sure look hungry. Grab a plate let me serve you" Damian commanded he kept staring the meal.
"Uh, this is um" he couldn't even tell what he was stirring
She turned her back to leave, not wanting to engage in more conversation with him.
"I..." He was about to say something, but snapped his fingers at his guards instead.
They grabbed Julie forcefully and led her out of the kitchen and to the dining room.
The guards sat her on a chair and stood beside her to prevent her from leaving incase she wanted to.
Julie felt a sense of desperation wash over her as she gazed around her. Her eyes strictly monitoring the guards.
Damian's "protection" had quickly turned into captivity, and she couldn't shake the feeling that she was a prisoner in the palace.
Every move she made was monitored, every word she spoke was ignored.
Julie's frustration and anger simmered just below the surface as she thought about the way Damian was treating her.
Her initial plans were to come find Lucian and the rest pack.
However, shhe wasn't seeing sign of them anywhere.
could Damian had locked them up somewhere? She asked herself.
And wondered if her suspicions were right?
Julie's mind racing, she bannged her hand on the table.
She has to escape and get to Lucian, because only him could save them from Damian.
She believe he is a perfect match for the enemy.
Damian walked in while she was still having thoughts.
He had guards accompanying him with trays of desserts.
She frowned at his arrival and folded her hands.
All the meals were placed before her and Damian took a seat, next to her.
"Come on babe! Let's eat" he beckoned to her and took hold of a fork.
She looked away from him and didn't say a word further.
"Uh!" Damian sighed while he itched his head. It was his way of trying to swallow his frustration in her behavior.
"You want to say something?" Damian snapped at her.
"You were good, and I really valued that" Julie confessed.
" I'm still the same person, but you never known me Julie.
Her stomach made a grumble, reminding her it was empty at the moment.
"Gosh! You are seriously hungry aren't you?" Damian sighed.
" Come on! Start eating " ge instructed while he waited for her to do so.
Julie nodded a disagreement, but picked a meal bowl and began walking away.
"Come on?" Jesse complained. "Where are you going?".
Jesse took his meal and joined her in walking.
She didn't think he would do that, she even got more upset and increased her steps.
Damian followed her quickly, and the guards at their back.
"Come on Julie! Don't do this. You won't like the end point" Damian warned.
She got to her room before him and shut the door quickly behind her. This prevented him from entering.
He began banging on the door while ordering her to open it for him.
"Go away Damian!" she yelled from the room.
"Don't say that to me Julie. You are mine now!" he kept banging the door.
He kept calm all of a sudden and placed his ears on the door to listen for a sound.
He heard her sobbing gently and felt her pain eventually.
"Don't cry Julie. Don't cry!" he commanded with emotions.
Julie slide on the floor with her meal firmly in her hands.
She began to cry and think of Lucian.
She wouldn't have left the pack. She complained to herself and blamed herself for the attack.
While she cried, her eyes suddenly met with the window which stood at some distance before her.
It was a good channel for escape, but she still needed to find out if Lucian and the rest pack members were there.
Damian left the door, as he knew Julie was not going to open it for him.
He told the guards to stand and watch over the door just incase she tries something fishy.
While he was walking down the stairs.
He sniffed an unfamiliar scent.
None of his pack members had this scent. He got curious to know where the scent came from.
He walked to the back of the pillar, where he picked up the sharp scent from.
Unfortunately, he saw no one there. The scent had gone elsewhere.
He nodded his head and walked away as he didn't have time to chase a phantom.

Lucian walked out from the corner of the hallway, He had been peeping at the two all along. Julie and Damian.
After going to the throne room, he found no one there. So he decided to come check the hallway where rooms were.
He saw the guards securing Julie's door and suspected her to be in there.
He needed a strategy to get into the room.
There was no time for him to think, anyone who was coming from behind would spot him in no time.
With a swift mood, he ran to them and knocked them down.
Their body landed hardly on the floor. Which was able to alert whoever was inaide.
Lucian dragged their bodies into a room and kept them there.
In this room, he found Luca's body along with his other soldiers.
Their bodies were hung up on the roof.
He was pained, he knelt down on his knees and began to cry.
"No" he muttered softly and kept crying.
"You will pay for this" his words slipped out of his lips with pain.
His veins began to show it's visibility and his eyes glowed.
Luca, his loyal bodyguard had been killed. He felt emotional about that.
He pulled off one of the guards uniform and put it on.
With their cap on his gead, there was no way, he would be recognized that easily.
He looked at Luca and his loyal soldiers bodies one last time and cried.
He felt pity for them, because they needed to be buried, however he can't to that else, the mission of revenge would be jeopardized.
He believed taking Damian down would bring all other soldiers to his command.
He was going to take his chance.
The alpha has been in the palace for hours and still unnoticed. There is a chance he can get victory over Damian and win back the kingdom from him.
This is the first time he was going to take down a whole army on his own.
He wanted to make it a silent war. Since that was what he was good at.
He rushed to Julie's door and tried to open it, but it was locked from the inside.
He whispered her name from the door and knocked gently upon it.
"Julie it's me" he whispered to give her a clue.
After he didn't get a reply, he began making attempt to force the door open.
"What is going on?" A voice disrupted him.
Although, he succeeded in opening te door.
"What are you doing?" Damian questioned the one he assumed to be his soldier.
"Uh---Uh" Lucian began to stutter.
He kept his gaze low to prevent Damian from seeing his face.
He clenched his fist as the thought of his dead soldiers fluttered his mind.
He wondered whether it was the right time to strike at Damian.
He was boiling and couldn't co
ntrol the anger inside of him.
Damian was walking closer to him. There is no way he could pretend for much longer before he is caught.
This is it, it is now or never.
He could fight Damian now that he was alone and end the battle once and for all.
Whoever wins get to rule the other for eternity.
