Alpha Lobo's Lost Mate

Ashina's POV

Nala groaned and paced around as she felt the pain that came with Lobo's persistent cheating. This is not the first time nor will it be the last that our mate would cheat on us with others. I tried to calm my wolf Nala down, but she yelled out within me.

“Don't try to make-up any excuse for him, this is the fourth time this week he is ramming into another person”

“Even though he knows how painful it is when he betrays our trust, he doesn't give a damn. He just goes ahead to satisfy his desires and allow us to wallow in pain” Nala could not be pacified as she felt the pain equally as me.

I have since known it is my cross to be the sacrificial one but it is gradually eating my life away and no one cares.

I walked around in my large princess themed room. Lobo was a very smart guy, he took his time to make our relationship look very pleasant, so much so I was the envy of every young female wolf in our pack.

Inside my room was a very large king size bed, adorned with golden ornaments and crafting of ancient arts that told stories of the hero's past in our kingdom.

To the side was a wardrobe that had all types of clotting and accessories that fitted a true Luna and brought out my already curvy figure…

I pushed the window open and the ray of sunshine shone on the mirror sitting in the wardrobe and I saw my reflection.

Before me is the image of a very beautiful damsel. Deep blue eyes that accentuated my long black hair which rested on my shoulders.

I was used to wearing a fake smile on my face, because Lobo had warned me that if anyone truly found out what was going on between us, I should kiss my family goodbye as he would lift the shield that protected my clan from the attack of the blood thirty Rewa rogues who had somehow transformed into half wolves and half demons.

I stirred at my reflection for a while and I couldn't help but let down the tears as thoughts of how miserable my life had become came running down.

I walked back and sat helplessly on the bed, having nothing to do but wait for the monster I called my mate to return and force himself on me again if his multiple mistresses are not able to satisfy his untamed sexual desires.

“Are you just going to sit back and watch him squeeze the life out of you? You are more than this and you know it” Nala said and I know she is right.

I come from a clan of wolves with special gifts. My wolf is a rare white wolf that has the ability to heal other wounded wolves and help them recover immediately after they return from battle. My parents could see far into the future and my step sister, Meera also took after them. After my mum died when I was 6 years old, my dad got married to Layla who had a baby girl for him. We both grew up together and did almost everything together. So much so it was hard to tell we were step sisters.

Our clan was one of the many clans under the leadership of the Troze Kingdom with Lobo as our alpha. He offered protection to most clans from the Rewa pack of rogue wolves who have almost destroyed our entire clan.

It's been a war without end until Lobo offered to help my people but he demanded for something in return. As soon as he came to our pack, I could feel the mate bond with him and so without hesitation I accepted to be his mate if it would save the remaining people of my clan.
