Chapter 73: The End
Alpha King's sex slave
Alpha Hades POV
(Final conclusion, The End.)
“Hades!” A hard bang at the door followed by a teary eyed Talitha swung the door open and she rushed in slumping to the floor obviously running out of breath.
“What frightens my Queen?” I rushed picking her wobbly feet from the floor and wrapped my arms around her, giving her my warmth and energy.
She sucks in a hard breath. “My s-on.”
“What happened to my son?” I held her in place staring into her eyes to read the meaning of her statement.
“He’s missing she got him... Killed that's her plan.”
“Put yourself together and tell me who got my son?”
She takes in air and releases a hard breath seconds later after putting her irrational piece in order. I really need to know who got my child and I swear on the soil of Arni to chop off their heads and hang it on a spike. Whoever has enmity with me should take it directly on me and not my innocent boy; he knows nothing and shouldn't be added to it.
“Ta..bi.. Tabitha, my mother.” A tear slips as she speaks.
Tabitha was said to be dead. All traces made to get her and punish her for the evil she did lead to a dead end. How possible is she alive to harm her grandson?
“Your mother? She's dead.”
Talitha shook her head, cutting off my claim and parted her lips to speak. “Forgive me my love. I didn't take her threats to heart else I should have informed you. She creeped into the Castle nights ago and called out to me. I saw her alive and she made threats which I overlooked. She has my son. We need to rescue Xander.”
What!
Tabitha wasn't dead as we thought and she had it to kill my son. The news infuriated my bones but I kept calm. It wasn't the time to cast blame and blow up in rage. That can happen later but for now Xander matters the most.
“How long has it been and do you know where she could be?” I ask hotly.
“Yes at the Cottage in the east forest. She has been there for a long time. I hope we catch up before she carries out her plans.” She admonished me.
“Take me to her!”
~
“Tabitha!” I broke into the door to find an empty cottage with the rising smell of smoke, the walls in red paint and the smell of her presence around every inch of the room.
A little sound at the door had us turning around to see her standing at the door with her arms behind her back as she took slow steps aimed at us.
“Hades son of Syrian I've been expecting you with this..” Her gaze flickers to an enraged Talitha who couldn't hide the disgust printed on her face. “Betrayal fortunate to be born in my womb.”
“Where’s my son? Xander! Xander!” Talitha screeched, glancing around the room with expectant eyes. The room looked silent, it's unlike Xander to be silent when he hears our voice, especially his mother. Tabitha must have done something to him and my temper was slipping by the minute. I could play this the safest way without anyone getting hurt.
“Provide my son and we leave without creating a hassle. I'm offering you a good deal if you don't want to get into a fight with me.”
“Hahahaha... your precious son will experience the same fate his grandfather put others through.” Tabitha leaves the door she was at and walks out of the Cottage, an indication we follow.
She leads us to a high mountain top and stops at the opposite side. My eyes popped at the soul lying on a slab with his hands tied behind his back.
“Xander!”
“Get an inch to him and I swear to throw him off the cliff!” Tabitha threatened to waving a silver dagger at us. My eyes rest on the silver dagger, she has things plotted by doing this knowing silver is a Wolf greatest weakness.
“Stay back.” I jerked Talitha’s overzealous arm backward, her erratic reaction could be disastrous for Xander. She tried to fight my hands around her struggling to go over to him but my grip was stronger pulling her into my strong arms as she sobs breaking down into hoarse wails. His eyes were closed which showed she knocked him off with something. His skin and hair was pale, freezing cold from being let out in space for long.
I hate Tabitha! How could a mother do this to a child?
“You are a devilish woman. How could you do this to your grandson?” My teeth grind hard as I speak.
“Yes I'm evil. I won at last look around you there's no one to save you and your cursed heir! None of you will escape my wrath. I'll rule the world and set it up on my terms. Hahahaha..” She burst into maniacal laughter with strands of her hair scattered over her face. Mentally dysfunctional.
When I thought I've seen it all my life, kept swerving with new surprises, Syrian wasn't the only monster I grew up detesting. Tabitha was just as hard and mentally impaired as he was and it hurts to know Talitha has such for a mother.
“Don’t you dare hurt a strand of my son's hair or I swear to chop off your head.” I yelled pointing my fingers at her as she crouched to an eye angle at Xander waving the dagger to his face.
“Shut up little fool. I could have killed him hours back if I wanted to take him out quickly. I want a thrilling kill, the look of pain and a brokenness when he breathes his last with his blood kissing my dagger. That's my favourite part of this arrangement.”
“What do you plan to gain by ruining my life, mother? He's your grandson, your blood flows through his veins.”
“Never! No bloodline of Asyrian deserves to live but I can make a fifty fifty chance.” Tabitha glares out the dagger pointing at my wife. She stares at the dagger and her mother and back to me in sheer contusion.
“Take the dagger and plunge it into your husband's heart.” Tabitha said evilly.
“I... can't...” Talitha refuses sobbing loudly. Her husband and son are the biggest rock of her life and watching her choose between us isn't something to be proud of.
Tabitha clicked her tongue ignorantly. “You leave me with no option.”
“Stop!” Her hands froze.
“Kill me. I humbly sacrifice my life for my son instead.”
“What are you saying?” Talitha tugged at my left arm staring at me like I've lost my mind. I couldn't look her in the eye. She looked like a mess, her hair disarrayed, eye bags puffy.
I palm her cheek in my hands and smash my lips on hers. “Take care of our son and the little one I love you till death.”
“Hahahaha...” more bursts of crazy laughter hit the mountains. If dying would restore peace and save the life of my son so be it.
I pulled away from a crying Talitha who fell to the floor in tears. It breaks my heart to see her this way but my decision is made.
I step forward. “I’m ready.”
Tabitha chants a few words and stuck the dagger into my chest ripping my flesh as crimson popped.
“Hades!” Talitha screamed her voice giving me the strength to breath and break through the poisonous silver sucking up life out of me.
“Die bastard!” she twisted the dagger in too deep, smiling at the face of my end and then something struck.
“Ahhh!” I hit her off the mountain with the added advantage of our close proximity as she free fell with the scream of her voice announcing her end till it paused- she landed in death.
“My love.” Talitha rushes to me before I hit the ground on my knees as I stagger backwards the dagger still stuck in me was causing damage. A hard cough blazed my chest, spouting blood leaking from my lips. The ground twirls before my eyes. The last thing I could remember was Talitha screaming for help and the sight of my son's crimson colored eyes awake.
He survived. But did I?
(Twenty years ago)
(Epilogue)
Xander grew up to be the strongest of men in Arni both far and wide. I took a backseat letting him lead the pack when he turned eighteen and he never gave me a reason to regret. Prudent, strong and strategic he grew up with a mind of making the most impossible things seem possible and got rewarded with praises from the kingdom.
I walked into my chamber without making a sound. My nature recently and I met Xatrina fixing her mother's dress. My daughter Xatrina was just as beautiful and more like Talitha she took over my sapphire golden hair and eyes but the rest in body and flawlessness was her mother, My Queen ex slave and lover.
Xatrina eyes land on me and she parts her lips to speak when I hushed her into silence. She nods. Her mother's back was facing me and at an angle she wouldn't notice my presence in the mirror to catch me creeping in.
“Umh... Mother, my stomach hurts. I need convenience.”
“Okay darling come back when you're done.” She pecks her mother on the cheek with a giggle and turns my way passing me a tight thumb and slams the door.
“When are you going to say hi?”
“You noticed all along.” I walked forward seeing her rise from the golden stool and turned to face me with her arms akimbo. My eyes take in her appearance from her head to her toes, something snapped inside of me ready to tear every fabric off her flawless skin and her body for a week.
She nodded, blaring her full sets of perfect teeths as I got closer and pulled her into my arms. Loving this woman never grows out of fashion with me. Our love ages like fine wine with a brand new spice each day. I blessed the day she walked into my life.
“I miss you my love, you smell so good.” I nuzzled on her neck licking a spot my mark was on and as usual she's ever ready to respond with the perfect moan I've ever heard.
“It has been twenty years now, stop acting like a boy and control yourself so your children don't walk in on us.” She giggled playfully, slapping my lips away to leave but I blocked her path. She looked too yummy to let go. I'll eat her from head to toe without leaving a crumb if she was a cake.
She was a human cake because that's all I'll do relish on her till she's deep in my blood so deep when I breathe I breathe her essence.
“I don't care twenty years after, fourty, sixty... what I know is that I'll be holding onto you till eternity and you are the same and if you think of ever leaving me then you're in for a big disappointment.”
“There’s nothing to take me away from your love, your arms and our children. Everyday spent with you feels like the first and no matter how hard I try to top it, the present day outdo the last. Thank you for giving me a name, making my womb blessed with children and for your love.”
“I should be the one saying thank you. Talitha you're the one piece I never thought I needed to fix the broken part of my life. I fought my love for you and failed countless times and finally saw the light. Thank you for being my wife and mother to our children.”
We sealed our love testimonials with a kiss as we wrapped our arms around each other. A witch I thought I hated turned out my slave, my wife and the Queen of Arni.
The End.
