Chapter 105 Celeste (END)

Chapter 105 Celeste (END)
Celeste's POV

“You are the most beautiful jewel on this planet.” Alpha Eiden hugged me from behind. My body grew hotter as his warm lips kissed my neck. “You have dazzled me and everyone else.”

Our eyes met in the full-length mirror.

I pursed my lips, but I couldn't lie and say there weren't butterflies fluttering in my stomach as my cheeks flushed red like a tomato.

“Really?” My eyebrow raised. “I guess it’s just your assumption.”

“It would be foolish if people out there didn’t think the same way I do.” Alpha Eiden shook his head.

“But they shouldn’t admire you too much.” Alpha Eiden snorted, annoyed at whatever he was thinking.

“If they like you and want you to be theirs, I’ll be in trouble.” He clicked his tongue.

I frowned. The mirror showed Alpha Eiden's gaze like a predator ready to pounce on its prey.

"Why do you think that?" I tilted my head.

"I'm jealous that so many people, especially men, like you."

I smiled as he buried his face in my neck. His hot breath came fast, and his hug on me tightened.

“That means you don’t trust me.”

“What do you mean?”

“You should trust me that I would never cheat on you,” I explained softly.

“Why would I be attracted to another man if I already have you?” I reached out to touch his cheek.

A wide, reassuring smile spread across my face as we met in the mirror.

“I trust you as much as you trust me.” Alpha Eiden took my hand that was stroking his cheek and kissed it with his eyes closed.

I held my breath. A pleasant sensation coursed through my body. I wanted time to stop.

“You’re so beautiful.”

“You’re so handsome.”

We stared deeply into each other’s eyes in the mirror before bursting into laughter.

I turned to hug him and bury my face in his firm, yet comfortable chest.

Our hearts raced. I was sure I was winning, especially after he kissed the top of my head.

Half an hour later, we were in the pack hall. Dozens of people were already waiting for us. Even the elders were eagerly leaving their residences.

I smiled as I met Alpha Eiden's gaze. Then we looked at Liam and Levi, who were standing between us.

A month after I became Eiden's Alpha mate again, a week ago to be exact, Liam accepted his destiny as the future Alpha for the River Dectagon Pack.

On a bright spring afternoon, Alpha Eiden held a ceremony to introduce his small family to the pack, his friends, his business partners, and people from all over the world.

Of course, we discussed the ceremony with all my members. The debate lasted four days.

In the end, my members allowed Levi and me to be known to the public as long as we could keep our identities and the BlackBirds Rogue Assassin Group a secret.

“Thank you for taking the time to come today. Seeing your enthusiasm for this ceremony truly means a lot to me.”

Alpha Eiden opened the event with a few polite remarks, despite how clear it was that small talk wasn’t his strength.

“Allow me to tell you my life story.” Alpha Eiden glanced at me for a moment before continuing.

“Actually, I found my mate over six years ago.” Alpha Eiden's shoulders slumped with a regretful expression. “I rejected her and forgot about her.”

I was no longer sad about that painful past.

“About eight months ago, I learned of a boy who shared my face and my blond hair. When I finally went to meet him, I was completely stunned.”

Alpha Eiden made eye contact with Liam. They smiled at each other.

"I have a son with my ex-mate." Alpha Eiden took a deep breath, feeling a tightness in his chest.

People were shocked by what they had just heard.

"The woman standing next to me is the mate I once rejected," Alpha Eiden said with teary eyes. "But now, she is my mate once more."

I put on my best smile and felt sweat trickle down my forehead as all eyes turned to me.

“She gave me a second chance, and the Moon Goddess has blessed us to be together again." Gratitude shone vividly in Alpha Eiden’s eyes. "I'm the luckiest man on the planet to have her by my side."

My heart raced uncontrollably, as if it might burst from my chest. Heat rushed to my cheeks, and even my ears flushed red.

“He is my biological son, Liam Scott.” Alpha Eiden invited Liam to stand beside him. He put an arm around Liam's shoulders, making him feel comfortable.

"He'll be the future Alpha of the River Dectagon Pack," Alpha Eiden said proudly.

Liam bowed before dozens of people.

"The official ceremony will take place when Liam turns 18. What's important is that you all know that the River Dectagon Pack already has its future Alpha." Alpha Eiden patted Liam's shoulder twice with a wide smile.

Liam nodded and flashed his father a smile before taking a few steps back, returning to stand beside me.

“I have a stepson,” Alpha Eiden said with a bright smile. He extended his hand to Levi. Levi walked toward him with a shy smile.

“He’s the son of my mate and her second mate.” Alpha Eiden gripped Levi’s hand tightly and gave him a sad look.

"He's lost his father. Although I'm not sure if I can be his father, I will try my best," Alpha Eiden said, his voice trembling slightly, and he stroked the back of Levi's hand. "I will love my children."

I feel fortunate to have Alpha Eiden willing to accept Levi wholeheartedly.

Loving Levi, who is not bound to him by blood, is certainly not easy.

"Dad." Levi and Liam threw themselves into Alpha Eiden's arms in unison, as if they had planned it without our knowledge.

Alpha Eiden chuckled. He crouched down to be at our children's level.

My heart warmed watching them hug. Moments like that should always be a part of our family.

The event was over before sunrise. We were so relieved that everything went smoothly.

I was so tired of chatting and listening to people talk to me. I wasn't sure I'd ever get used to it.

As an Alpha rogue assassin, I didn't need social skills. I rarely met with clients; I handled their requests via email.

Liam and Levi went straight to bed in their rooms. I wanted to, too, but Alpha Eiden hadn't finished chatting with his pack leaders yet.

I sat by the window, scrolling through my phone. A smile spread across my face as I saw the articles discussing Alpha Eiden and me.

'I hope nothing bad happens in your relationship,' my wolf said. 'You and Alpha Eiden never fight as you used to with the late Alpha Benedict.'

'I hope so.' I nodded.

'You two are in a long-distance relationship. The four of you will only spend time together three times a week.' My wolf had a lot of anxiety. That showed how much she cared about us.

'Alpha Eiden and I will continue to work hard to keep our relationship strong,' I said.

Next month, Liam will begin elementary school at the River Dectagon Pack and live with Alpha Eiden.

Three days a week, we will stay together at our home—nestled between the werewolf clan and the rogue clan.

“Hi, my mate.” Alpha Eiden kissed my cheek and neck. I chuckled. “I’m recharging. I know you need me too.”

“Yeah, you’re right. I’m tired too.” I stood up to hug him. We were silent for a few moments, just filling our lungs with each other’s scent.

“Do you know how many people are talking about us online?” I asked, not breaking our embrace.

“Yes.” Alpha Eiden nodded. “Beta Serena told me earlier.”

“As we suspected, people still remember the deleted post.”

“Was it your group that threatened the person behind the post and made him vanish from the internet?” Alpha Eiden loosened our embrace. Our eyes met as he looked down.

“No.” I shook my head. “We’re not looking for that person.”

“He even deleted his account. Like someone terrified.”

“Maybe he was scared because they didn’t expect his post to go viral.”

“Mmm, that makes sense.” Alpha Eiden nodded.

“Okay. Now let’s forget about that and everything else.” Alpha Eiden stole a glance out the window. “The sun is about to set. Beautiful view, isn’t it?”

“Yes.”

We watched the sun sink below the horizon. Darkness slowly crept in, and a cold gust of wind swept past us.

“You’re full, right?”

“Yes.” I nodded, my brows knitted together.

“Good.” Alpha Eiden smiled brightly, a hint of desire clouding his blue eyes. "I think it’s time we give Liam and Levi a little sister."

I screamed as he picked me up and laid me on the bed. Without waiting for me to be ready, he kissed my lips softly and lovingly.

We accepted each other wholeheartedly.

Our bond was once broken, but now we are determined to protect it so nothing can ever come between us again.

Returning to my ex-mate wasn’t as frightening as I once thought because he had truly learned from his mistakes.
