Chapter 125 Collapse of Chloe

Chapter 125 Collapse of Chloe

The room went dead silent, everyone stunned by the bombshell.

The four bodyguards, embarrassed by their failure to be exposed, shifted uncomfortably.

Zachary was about to lose it.

What the hell is going on?

At the Heavenly Gift Hotel, Benedict got a free pass.

Zachary had his Platinum VIP status revoked, got banned from the place, and was humiliated.

At the Blue Sail Restaurant, Benedict got another free pass.

Zachary lost his VIP privileges again, got banned, and faced more humiliation.

Damn it, I can't even teach him a lesson? If I can't deal with Benedict openly, I'll do it in the shadows. Just wait!

Chloe was even more distraught, clutching Zachary's hand and crying out, "Zachary, I don't want to work in the kitchen! Why should I? Why do I have to apologize like this?"

Zachary weighed his options.

Offending Francis for Chloe's sake wasn't worth it.

He shook her off and said sternly, "Why shouldn't you? Benedict said you should work in the kitchen, and now it's happening. Crying to me won't help. You couldn't keep your mouth shut, and this is the result!"

Chloe was devastated.

She was on the brink of madness, tears streaming down her face as she wailed.

"Why? Why?"

Cindy looked at her coldly, "Because you're not a good person. You offended Mr. Capulet, and that's all there is to it. You don't have to go, but Francis, as Mr. Capulet's friend, can make sure you and Mr. Beckett can't set foot in Newport again."

The threat was clear.

Zachary, sweating profusely, didn't dare say another word. He quickly stood up, "Alright, alright, Ms. Ellis, we'll leave now."

He left with his four bodyguards, like a dog with its tail between its legs.

As for Chloe?

He didn't dare help her.

Cindy added, "We'll refund the balance on your card, every penny."

Chloe was utterly hopeless.

She had thought Zachary was her rock.

He had money, power, gave her a good position, and was going to buy her a Mercedes to show off.

But in the face of Benedict's influence, he had no standing at all!

Chloe ended up working in the kitchen.

Benedict even brought Susie over.

The kitchen staff treated Benedict with utmost respect.

Everyone praised Susie, saying she looked like a little princess.

Susie, always charming, won everyone's hearts.

Francis even gave her a hug and a kiss on the cheek, saying, "Benedict, take Susie back to your private room and enjoy your victory lunch. I'll cook for you personally."

Benedict chuckled, "Thanks, big boss."

Then he left with Susie.

Throughout the whole process, he didn't even glance at Chloe, who was washing dishes in the corner.

Everyone ignored Chloe, no matter how pretty she was.

She felt nothing but cold indifference, tears flowing uncontrollably.

As Susie was leaving, she said, "Ms. Perez, goodbye! Thank you for your hard work! Labor is the most honorable!"

Chloe was even more furious but didn't dare retort.

Benedict's power crushed her, making it hard to breathe.

Zachary had also said that Francis could do whatever he wanted in Newport.

She had no way out.

After washing dishes for an hour, she finally left the Blue Sail Restaurant.

Chloe was deeply disillusioned with the city.

After packing up at home, she dragged her heavy luggage to the airport.

As she boarded the plane, tears of defiance in her eyes, she gritted her teeth, filled with hatred.

"Newport, Benedict, Susie, I'll be back! I'll make you pay!"

Benedict, Jessica, and Susie enjoyed a lavish meal.

Bella called from Imperial, reaching Benedict's phone.

"You rascal, I had no idea you were so good at golf!"

This was the first time Bella admired Benedict.

Benedict smiled, "Bella, how did you find out?"

"I took some time this morning to watch the live stream!"

"Oh, I see. Are you still busy with work?"

"Not too busy. I'll be back in a few days. By the way, after the game, what were you talking about with Kenneth and those three jerks?"

"Nothing much, just chatting."

"You better not get involved with them. They probably see you winning two million dollars, having a car, and money, and want to harm you. If you gamble again, I'll divorce you!"

Bella was a bit haughty.

She felt that Benedict had changed and wouldn't get angry with her anymore.

"I know. By the way, the two million dollar prize, how should we split it?"

"Let's talk about it when you win! I'm watching the live stream from Imperial!"

After finishing up, Francis joined them for a glass of 1982 Lafite and some casual conversation.

He didn't mention teaching Zachary a lesson.

That was a minor issue.

Benedict didn't bring it up either.

Among the strong, there was an unspoken understanding and mutual respect.

They just talked about gourmet food and everyday life, which was enough.

As they were parting, Francis mentioned that Susie was doing okay at Starlight Kindergarten, but suggested switching to a better one next year, like Sunshine Meadows Kindergarten. It was the most luxurious public school, covering elementary through high school, with guaranteed admission to the best high school, Sunshine High School. He could arrange it, and the normal fees weren't too high.

Benedict expressed his gratitude, as he did want to send Susie to the best kindergarten in Newport.

Back in the car, Jessica was amazed.

"Benedict, you really have money now. Sunshine Meadows Kindergarten isn't just for any wealthy family! I heard that without the standard fees, it costs four hundred thousand dollars to get in, and over two hundred thousand dollars per semester! With public fees, there's no entrance fee, and each semester is only forty to fifty thousand dollars! Francis is really impressive. When did you two become such good friends?"

Benedict smiled as he drove, "Jessica, it has to do with my gambling buddies, Dennis and Kenneth. Francis is an old classmate of theirs, so we met through them. Our relationship has improved recently. We both love cooking and can share a lot about gourmet food."

"Oh!" Jessica was still a bit uneasy about his gambling buddies, but she was in a good mood. "I didn't realize cooking skills could be so beneficial. Being friends with someone like him is much better than with those gamblers! It's good for the kids' future, too."

"Yes, our baby is already destined to be a student at Sunshine Meadows Kindergarten and later Sunshine High School."

Jessica couldn't help but feel hopeful, touching her belly and imagining the future.

After a while, she remembered, "Oh, Benedict."

"Yes, what is it?"

"Let's go visit Pathway to Miracles High School and see Kelly. She's been in class and hasn't come home much. I miss her. Since you're so close with Francis, maybe we can get Kelly into Sunshine High School next spring! Sunshine High School has the second-highest college admission rate in the state. Kelly is smart and can do even better there."
