Chapter 387

“Do you remember the time I was arrested, and a nurse testified against me?” Nathan asked, hugging my shoulder, and Stella nodded.

“Yes, I remember,” Stella replied. “She said she didn't see what really happened, she just heard some noises inside.”

“Yes. But she's actually lying, and she was the one who took those photos.” Nathan explained. “That time, she left something in my grandmother's room and bumped into Joseph, and then she saw Joseph kill Grandma...”

“How could those photos be in Richard Collins' hands?” Stella asked.

“Richard Collins had a relationship with her, and Joseph didn't know that the young nurse had these photos.” Nathan stared at her. “The nurse committed suicide last year because she felt guilty, and Richard Collins found it strange and investigated. He found her diary and these photos, and Richard helped Joseph hide it...”

“If that's the case, why didn't he find Joseph and just look for you?” Stella was confused.

“That's why I should thank Joseph.” Nathan smiled. “Richard Collins asked his lawyer to find Joseph, but he wasn't willing to meet him, so Richard Collins asked his lawyer again to find me.”

“Did you find him today?”

Nathan nodded.

“Today we can find solid evidence, and Joseph should have no way out.” He hugged her. “Stella, we've waited so many years to solve Grandma's case, and we can finally solve it... It's just that...” Nathan said. “Grandma used to be kind to Joseph, but he killed Grandma, he needs to be punished.”

Stella knew that Nathan was really sad.

Grandma died at the hands of her own grandson, and she was strong and powerful during her lifetime, but she also did many horrible things, but she really wanted the best for the Collins family, and she thought about her own relatives.

“Don't be sad.” Stella patted him on the shoulder. “Now there's finally a resolution to this case, and Joseph did many horrible things, and he needs to be punished. Finally, Carol can get rid of him!”

“Yes!” Nathan kissed Stella's temple.

At this moment, Joseph was having a meal at the restaurant, and he had no appetite at all, he just kept drinking, when suddenly, someone appeared in front of him.

“Mr. Collins seems to have a new hobby.” He raised his head and smiled. “You've started to like showing up in front of me, but what is this? Don't you hate me? Why do you want to come see me?”

“I had something to tell you!” Nathan sat down in front of him.

“Do you want to tell me that you found Gabriel's sister? Is he going to report me to the police immediately?”

“No, I came to tell you something you don't really know!” Nathan shook his head and smiled, then placed a folder on the table. “This is the result I found when I investigated the Malares family's project, but you think the Collins family stole the project, so the Malares family had no chance to recover? You'll know when you come, the reason why Grandma and Grandpa stole it.”

Joseph opened the folder and read it, and his face turned deathly pale.

“Joseph, you and your father are the same. You are stubborn. Without investigating anything thoroughly, you always think that everyone has wronged you and that people are betraying you. And the downfall of your Malares family was actually decreed by fate!” Nathan laughed coldly.

Joseph slapped the table and pointed at Nathan.

“And our Malares family? Nathan, you're hilarious. Now it's your Collins family that's failing, and look, I even changed the name of your company Collins. Aren't you ashamed of that?”

“How can I feel ashamed? Joseph, you're so stubborn...” Nathan picked up the phone and glanced at the photos. “Look at these photos then!”

Joseph lowered his head and looked at the photos, and his face changed.

“What is this? How could you have this?”

Nathan grabbed the phone when Joseph tried to steal it, and Joseph glared at Nathan's phone.

“Joseph, you never thought there would be such evidence, right?” Nathan smiled. “You think your actions are so flawless, but you didn't expect there to be photos, right? I've already handed the photos over to the police, and I forgot to tell you who gave me these photos. Do you know who it is?”

Joseph thought of someone, but he wasn't willing to think too much about it.

“Richard Collins told me that his lawyer was looking for you.” Nathan smiled and said, “He wanted to negotiate with you, but it's a pity that you're not willing to meet him. Now, I think I need to thank you.”

Joseph's eyes were furious, and he reached out to grab it, and Nathan let him take it.

“What's the use of having my cell phone? Do you think I only have one copy of it? Those important photos are already being copied!”

“Nathan, you really blocked my exit.”

“Joseph, you still have the nerve to say those words to me?”

Joseph suddenly stood up and grabbed a bottle of wine, smashed it, and in the next second, wanted to attack Nathan. But Nathan predicted this, pursed his lips and avoided the blow, and used a chair to smash his own body.

Joseph did not expect this after his hand was smashed, and saw that he was surrounded by police officers who rushed in.

“I reported you to the police!” Nathan said calmly.

“Nathan, you agreed to frame me!” He pointed at Nathan.

Joseph realized that the police officers were approaching to arrest him, and everyone inside the restaurant was screaming and running because of the police officers, and Joseph took a few steps back and suddenly grabbed a woman.

He picked up one of the forks and pointed it at her neck, and the woman was terrified and started crying.

“Don't make a sound!” Joseph shouted at her, and her neck was pressed by the knife and bled a little, and she immediately didn't dare to move.

“If you come any closer, I'll kill her,” Joseph told them.

“Don't act recklessly, Joseph!” said the police chief.

“Let's see if you're going to go ahead or not. Go away, go away now.”

The police chief told the other officers to stop moving and stood still there.

“What do you want?”

“I don't want anything. I just want to save my life. Give me a way out.”

“Joseph!” said the other police officer. “We've surrounded this place, and you have no way out now, no way to escape, just surrender!”

Joseph was impatient and just laughed coldly.

“You're not leaving, are you? Don't blame me for hurting her!” He said that and stuck the knife into the woman's neck, and the woman immediately cried out in pain.

All the officers watched him and were frightened.
