CHAPTER 8 THE CELESTIAL PRINCESS
Thunders and lightning struck the darkness of the whole kingdom of warlocks.
Darkness covering the entirety of every corners as the warlocks busily were doing witchcrafts, ready for their next raid on the other world.
"Gramiore, the celestial princess have been located!" Gramiore rushed and turned to face Lavio.
"Where?" With his darkly colored eyeballs, he looked at his servant intently.
"In the human world."
Confused, Gramiore yet again turned and silently let his thoughts linger. The fire burning from the largely crafted torches danced as though it was alive which was the only thing that brought light in the dark world of the warlocks.
Having the presence of the celestial princess, Gramiore thought of using her as an offering to reach the peak of the ethereal king of the darkness. With this, Gramiore thought that they can finally raid and take over the whole world of the Magians including the world of mankind. It was long before Gramiore discovered the existence of the celestial princess, a half-breed princess having the blood of a genie and a human. She was the daughter of the late prince Albion and Jasmine, a human. Everyone in the whole Magus weren't aware of Jasmine's giving birth to the first bloodline of half-breed princess. Gramiore, with his raging greed of power and desperation, made all action possible just to have enough power to vanquish the whole bloodline of the Magians.
"Soon enough, Magus will be mine!"
......
"What took you so long?"
Aria taking her usual route to school, she asked Chester.
"Where did you ever see a vacation for a day only? Silly."
The guy retorted as he tapped her head making her hair into a mess. Chester had been away for almost a week stating that he will have some business plus a vacation.
The sun has yet to set and Aria excused herself for not being able to go home with Chester for the day. The usual place on the hilltop had yet again filled with the silence of Aria's presence. She tried summoning Gowther but seemingly, the kettle didn't react with Aria's attempt of summoning the owner of the cage. After many times of repeating her attempt, she went silent yet again, unable to think of why the genie wouldn't respond to the summon.
"Apologies, my lady."
Shocked, Aria flinched as she sighted Gowther bent in front of of her with the usual cold voice of his.
"What seem to have restrained you from coming out?"
"Apologies, I have been taken way deep in my thoughts. I shall accept any punishment."
Aria watched Gowther bend more as she was filled with confusion.
"What do you have in mind to make you so unaware of your surrounding?"
Gowther lifted his head but remained silent as he floated and sat next to her as his thin, glowing clothes flew as though taken by the wind.
"Countless of thoughts, my lady." Aria remained silent.
"My clan has yet to be found and I, as a caged, useless part of the bloodline can't even do anything to have them be at ease." Aria has yet again filled with more confusion.
"You mean to say, you're not the only genie?" He remained silent as she again asks.
"Why would you feel burdened?" Gowther glanced at her with his brazen, cold emerald green eyes and for a moment, he took his gaze away.
"I am the crown prince of the genie clan. I am ought to lead my clan into a place that shall keep the essence of our nature but because of my incompetence, I have led them to disaster." Shocked yet again, Aria looked at him with wide eyes as her hands were covering her widely opened mouth.
"Now that I have been discovered, I shall take this opportunity to unite my clan. My irresponsibility shall not happen yet again."
"I don't know what you have suffered but I hope for your unending strength to go on."
She smiled as the man remained linked with the lady's bright smile.
"As long as the celestial princess is around, my suffering, my clan's suffering will never come to an end." Aria's smiles slowly faded.
"Celestial princess?"
"The last bloodline of a half-breed. The prophesy stated that the last bloodline of the half breed will soon end the whole bloodline of the magians and darkness will soon invade the entirety of Magus."
"What do you mean?"
"It was long before my clan had been once in unity with Magus but because of the impudency of the late crown prince, rupturing the forbidden law of loving a human, the whole clan had yet to take responsibility of the crown prince's mistake, leading us to be caged in this dark- cornered kettle. The crown prince just then after the discovery of his doing, ran and taken the human away from the world of magic, leaving us to suffer alone. Thus, unaware of his human lover, she had given birth to the first bloodline of half-breed but because of having the blood of a magian, the human didn't have the least power to give birth and the crown prince, taking risk of using all his power, he gave it all to the human leading them both to death, having the child alive and breathing." Unable to believe every single thing, she remained empty-minded.
"Magus wasn't aware of the human giving birth to a half-breed but not the warlocks. Having the stated prophesy, I am certain that they will soon find a way to have the princess within their hands. Thus, I, at the very least shall find the celestial princess first before anyone."
"Why do you want the celestial princess when she's the fruit of your suffering?"
"Exactly. I will let her have the suffering of my whole clan and I might as well bring her to the warlocks myself."
Cold and serious, Aria felt a familiar thing arousing from within her, fear. Having Gowther's aura, Aria felt the eagerness of him to avenge his clan for all the sufferings they have to have for all those times. After the long story, the both remained silent as they watched sun slowly, bit by bit sets far from the mountain.
Little did they know, Chester, with eyes wide open, his gaze was locked from the two figure from up the hilltop with gazes stated on the setting sun. Not long before he parted ways with Aria, he stopped remembering that he had to borrow her notes as per his absence for almost a week. Unaware of where the lady was, he took minutes of looking for her until he sighted her from within the hilltop. He haven't had Gowther in sight because of the large trunk of tree covering the wholeness of the man. Walking near to where Aria was, he stopped as soon as he heard a voice of a man talking about the long suffering of their clan. Chester remained froze as reality struck him, turning around and walked away.
