Chapter 47: A Heart Attack
**DAY THREE**
I stomp downstairs to the kitchen, still fuming over what she did.
I showered all while watching her toast the same bread for me with a happy smile on her face that I have never observed before.
I kept all my eyes on her while dressing up, just to make sure she doesn’t ass-fuck my breakfast more than she has already done.
Entering the kitchen, I toss my tie and jacket onto the countertop and slump onto the stool, facing the cook and her dish.
“Your omelette with toast.” Emara slides a plate at me, with a gorgeous smile painted on her face.
I stare down at the half-burnt omelette that looks like something straight out of a radioactive waste dump.
I glare up at her, only to see her smile more.
“And an expresso for the depresso.” She cooes, pushing a cup of de-cafed coffee under my nose.
“Funny.” I taunt, narrowing my eyes at her in a warning.
“Yeah.. Which you are not!” She smirks sarcastically, then takes a sip from her cup and sneers at me evilly.
*I can’t believe she called me sick, when she herself is a fucking sick-o-path!*
My eyes slide down to the bedsheet she is still wearing, and I feel a dis-satisfied grunt in my chest.
How I imagined to see her draped in sexy lingeries, and what I got in reality is a road-side homeless look that makes me want to poke my eyes.
*What a total waste of investment!*
I pick up the tablet while taking a bite from the omelette and force my tongue to gulp it down. It amazes my brain cells how she managed to make something both undercooked and burnt at the same time.
“How’s the omelette?” Emara asks me flirtatiously, twisting my balls while playing with my anger.
*This girl is something else!*
“Eatable.” I reply, surfing through the news, hoping to distract myself from the taste of charcoal and disappointment.
Just then a notification pops up from my AI app, and I tap it to see it’s a grocery update.
Items low in stock: Chips, Biscuits, Protein bars- REFILL REQUIRED.
What? I can’t believe she emptied entire snacks pantry in just two days of her arrival. She even ate all my protein bars thinking they were chocolate!
This girl is not only torturing me with her bizzare cooking skills, but also munching her way through my grocery stash like a food-termide.
“You know, breakfast is the most important meal of the day… Only if it is not poisoned.” Emara whispers the last line almost psychotically.
I glance over at her, hardening my eyes. She got the nerve to look so innocent, sitting there with that smug little smile on her face and sipping coffee which she didn’t even pay for.
“Emara. Come here.” I dictate, keeping the iPad down.
She blinks her large doe eyes, acting all clueless and slowly walks up to me like a lamb ready to sacrifice herself for the welfare of others.
*God! She is so dramatic.*
I couldn’t stop glaring at the bedsheet around her, which makes me want to claw it out of her skin in sheer frustration.
But I hold her hands instead, and ignore the little flutter of beats in my chest as I feel how soft her palms are.
It’s almost like holding a baby’s paw in my hands, scared I might put too much pressure. So small, so fragile, so I hold it gently, caressing them with care as I stare at her hazel orbs.
“Emara.. I have trust in you that you won’t poison me.” I tell her, putting my faith card on the table, hoping she would confess her deeds.
Instead, her eyebrows inch up a little in surprise, “Really?”
*Really, what really?*
My grip tightens on her hands just a bit as I reveal, “Yes. Because there is no such item in the house.”
“There is shampoo.” She murmurs lowly and I feel a low thump in my chest. She even thought of it makes me a little scared.
Not going to lie, part of me is angry but part of me is really impressed by her creative style to kill me.
“Hmm.. But Eve would have reported to me that you had brought a chemical into the kitchen which doesn’t belong here.” I update her data with my high-tech software.
And the way she oogles me, I am sure her weird brain never thought of that before.
“You know why I call it a smart assistant? Because it observes its surrounding every second and reports me of what my human is doing in my house.” I tell, watching her eyes go wide like buttons.
*Tsk..Tsk..Tsk..*
“You should have fed these toast to the dogs only.” I glare at her, hoping to see a flicker of guilt in her eyes. But all she does is stare back at me with the shock of getting caught so easily.
Emara gulps and I sharpen my glare at her. I can’t believe the size of balls she has to mess up with my food, again!
*What am I going to with her?*
“Now tell me, do you know how to tie a tie?” I ask her, squinting my eyes.
“No.” Emara cutely shakes her head.
“Learn.” I hand her my tablet and tie. “You have three minutes to learn to knot a tie.”
*It’s time I make some use of her.*
Hazel eyes blinks at me in confusion, before focusing on the tablet. Her delicate fingers slide through the screen, which I want to put inside my mouth.
I watch her intently as she bites her soft-pinkish lips in between her teeth while concentrating on the ‘how-to-tie-a-necktie’ video.
Just then, she looks at me, and I feel my heart malfunctioning a little.
*What is this, another disease?*
Emara nervously steps closer, and I feel my pulse quicken. Her hands raises around my neck and I couldn’t help but take a whiff of her scent that smells exactly like me.
Her fingers brush my neck, and I think some window must have left opened because I got chills running down my spine.
I close my eyes and try to ignore the little hair at my nape, standing erect with a sensation that crawls all the way to my thighs.
And when I open my eyes, I am greeted by her pointy nipples which are pressing against the thin bedsheet she is wrapped in.
I gulp, my heart rate increases as I feel her stand so close to me, her hands working on neck, with her scent in my head and her damn hard nipples inches away from my face.
*Fuck!*
My breath fastens and I can feel my body heating up like I have stepped too close to the furnace and—
* *Beep* *Beep* *Beep* *
My heart jumps to my throat as my wristwatch blares, flashing an abnormal heart rate warning like I am about to have a heart attack.
I grit my teeth as frustration builds up in me, and I slap my watch with a grunt. I do not appreciate how her mere presence is throwing my body functions into chaos.
Anger replaces the heat as I yank open the tie which is fumble of knots on my neck and glare at her, “You are good for nothing!”
Emara flinches back as I stand up infuriatingly, more pissed at myself than her.
*Why the hell even I like her?*
“You don’t know how to cook, how to clean, how to tie, you are average in studies and ok-ish in bed. What you are good at, huh?” I ask her and myself.
I would have learned entire periodic table in three minutes, solved Diophantine equation, mastered a hobby, even won in chess with the computer, and here she is..
*A complete useless being.*
“Fine. Then send me home!” Emara bawls at me.
OVER MY DEAD BODY!
I glare back at her as I tie my own tie in annoyance, because the way she looks..
God! I want to fucking stab myself everytime I glance at her homeless look.
*What the fuck did I even see in her?*
“You don’t provide me clothes and instead, steal mine. You are the cheapest millionaire I have ever seen.”
I scoff. “I am the only millionaire you have seen.”
“Alright! You are the cheapest, miser man I have ever seen.” She scowls, flaring her nostrils at me.
“I am not a miser. I am frugal.” I correct her misconception, because someone has to educate her.
“There is a difference, but you won’t get it because you are childish. In fact, you are so childish sometimes that you make me feel like a pedophile.” I speak the absolute truth.
Emara’s jaw drop down so low, making me wonder why she was choking on my cock yesterday, when she can easily open her mouth this wide.
“You calling me childish when you are the one who is holding a stupid grudge from past three years. ‘I spent seven days in hell.. So you will spend seven days in the hell too.’ That’s the most childish thing I ever heard.” She tries to speak hoarsely in a masculine voice.
God! I can’t even take her seriously when she is looking and sounding like an angry dwarf.
“You know I can do this all day.” I narrow my eyes, but the disgust rummaging through me at her DIY fashion makes it a hundred times harder to look at her.
“But I would like it more if you were naked. Because right now, I can’t even look at this hideous dress you made and talk to you without thinking of puking out.” I walk away from her, before grabbing my jacket and bag.
“Oh well whose mistake is that.. Buy me a dress!” Emara hurries after me, and I quicken my pace.
“I won’t spend my hard earned money on you. Not even a penny.”
“Well, you did spend a lot on those slutty lingeries!” She reminds me, and like on autopilot, I turn around to face her.
“That was for my pleasure, which I didn’t get, now did I?” I scowl, remembering the worst investment of my life.
“All I got in return is this fugly character from Hogwarts, whose name I can’t even remember.” I remember how it looked like, but I can’t just recall its name.
“It starts something from D.. And he is weird just like you.”
*Danny? Dory? What was it?*
“Dobby!” I yell, finally getting it right. “You look like Dobby in this bedsheet.”
I stride away in disgust, imagining Emara without hair and wrinkly face, looking just like the female version of Dobby.
“Well then, buy me a Cinderella dress if you hate these sheets so much on me.” She growls, following me outside the home.
*God! This girl has no pause button.*
