"I don't know what you are talking about" Kayla said feigning ignorance.

"I don't understand why you lie about your name though, but I am all ears ready to listen" Xavier said as he downed his drink in one go.

"Why should I explain myself to you"?You don't matter to me and my life is none of your business.

"That's true, but I can't help myself. I am interested in you," Xavier replied.

"So you go about investigating people you are interested in?"Kayla asked.

"Are you admitting your name is actually Kayla?" Xavier asked in return.

Kayla was speechless, she couldn't say anything as she stared at Xavier,

Different thoughts going through her mind, if Xavier already knew her real name, he probably knew everything about her and more.

"So….." Xavier started.

"Nothing," Kayla said in return.

"Are you going to come clean or do we bicker more?" Xavier asked.

"What do you want to know?" Kayla asked.

"Everything there is to know about you princess" Xavier replied.

"Princess…ughh," Kayla groaned.

The bar was getting empty at this point, the crowd wasn't too much today and it seemed like people decided to resign early.

"You don't like princesses, what do I call you then?"Xavier asked.

"My name of course," Kayla retorted.

" Which, Skylar or Kayla?" Xavier asked as he chuckled, he pushed his glass forward indicating for a refill, this was his third glass already.

Kayla refilled his glass grudgingly and he downed it in a go.

"Meet me tomorrow at Skye lounge, Let's talk" Xavier stated.

"Why should I?" Kayla asked.

"Why shouldn't you? Come on i don't bite I have something to propose and we need to talk properly but we can't do that here" Xavier replied.

"Fine"

The next day as early as ten, Kayla was up, and was getting ready for her meet up with Xavier, she received a message from him indicating she meets him by 12 noon at the lounge.

Kayla deliberated If she should tell Daisy about her meet up with Xavier or not, then she concluded not too.

Kayla got dressed In a maxi dress slipping on a black heels, Kayla had been to Skye lounge a number of times when her mother was still alive.

Although she could judge from Xavier's appearance that he was a rich catch, and Skye lounge wasn't a place where you could pull up jeans and walk in.

So, Kayla checked herself on the mirror and she was set to go, she decided to book a cab there and she got a notification that her ride was already waiting.

She went downstairs and hopped into her ride.

Kayla's nerves was all over the place but she tries to compose herself as the cab slowly approached the car park of Skye lounge.

Kayla got down from the cab and walked into the entrance of the Lounge. She pulled out her phone to inform Xavier about her arrival but someone called out her name.

"Kayla" it was Xavier, he walked up to her in his three piece suit and his ever curly hair.

Kayla had a crazy urge to scatter his hair and probably wipe off that smirk of his face.

"Hello beautiful, you look absolutely stunning" Xavier said as he held out his for Kayla.

Kayla stretched out her hands as Xavier entwined them in his.

"Thank you," Kayla uttered.

Xavier led Kayla to a different part of the lounge, more like a very private sector upstairs but had a very beautiful view.

There was a bar and two waiters waiting for them.

Kayla and Xavier got settled, and wine was served.

"I hope you like it here," Xavier stated.

"Yes, it has a pretty view, and the wine here is good," Kayla responded.

"So…." Xavier tries to say something.

"Cut the chase Mr woods, if you found out my real name you must know everything about me by now, so what exactly do you want from me?" Kayla asked as she was getting tensed.

"Let's have lunch first, I hope you are really hungry, I prepared a feast for you," Xavier said he signaled the waiters to bring in the food.

Within minutes the door opened and about five waiters walked in holding a platter, they placed it on the table and Xavier dismissed them all, except the main Waiter who was to stay behind and serve them.

As the waiter opened up the platters Kayla's mouth watered, There were over seven different kinds of dishes before her.

Xavier noticed how Kayla's expression lifted up when the food was presented.

Xavier immediately signaled the waiter to start serving.

"Eat first, we can talk after food," Xavier urged Kayla and immediately Kayla dug in.

There was pasta and lobster with a dish with all kinds of seafood, there was bacon and cheese and the lasagna smelled heavenly.

Kayla ate and ate, she tasted almost all the dishes presented and yet she wasn't full.

Xavier chuckled silently as he watched Kayla eat without a single care in the world, all her guards dropped down, while Xavier was still on his first dish, Kayla was on her fifth!

"Do you want more?" Xavier asked.

"No.. I'm filled up already" Kayla replied as she drank her juice.

Xavier signaled to the waiter and in few seconds a different set of waiters entered the room, but this time it was pastries.

"Oh my World, are you trying to kill me with food or something, because your plan might be working?" Kayla said as she observed the whole platter of pastries the new set of waiters brought while they cleared the previous one.

There was cheesy egg roll, cinnamon rolls, Banana pancakes, waffles and a bowl of whipping cream, eggs laid on the other side and there was strawberries, milk cake and ice cream.

Kayla immediately picked a waffle and scooped the whipping cream onto her plate, as Xavier had dismissed the waiter who stayed behind to serve them.

She had just taken a bite of the waffle when she heard Xavier say something

"Let's get married"
