Renee took the contract, turned to the last page and saw Felix’s signature. The moment she saw it, a huge weight was lifted off her shoulders.
Three months ago, she still wanted to be Felix’s wife, but that time she was eager to cut off all ties with him.
“Thank you, Mr. Percy.”
Percy kindly reminded her, “Ms. Jackson, although you and Mr. Pearson no longer has any relationship, as far as I know, he has been looking for you for the past three months and has asked me many times about your whereabouts. I’m afraid he hasn’t given up on you yet.”
Renee sneered, “Looking for me? It seems that they haven’t used me enough. Don’t worry, when the time is right, I will naturally go to see him.”
Her revenge had not yet been taken and they would definitely meet again.
As Percy left, Renee’s eyes fell on Jeromy.
“You heard what the lawyer said just now. I used to like my uncle, even though we weren’t a biological family.
“It’s a pity that he didn’t like me. He even broke my legs and stole my uterus to help his
lover.
“I’m not a good person. I will definitely seek revenge on them. For revenge, I may be more ruthless than them. Are you sure you want to like a vicious woman like me?”
Jeromy was a good man. Renee did not want to delay him, so it was better to tell him everything and let him give up.
Unexpectedly, there was no disgust in Jeromy’s eyes, but heartache.
“Vicious? If your revenge is vicious, then I must be a villain.”
Jeromy stood up and walked to Renee’s side. He leaned over to look at the woman and raised his eyebrows, “Why not give me a chance? If you kill someone, I’ll hand you the knife. If you set a fire, I’ll guard the door.”
Renee looked at Jeromy in astonishment as she asked, “Why are you helping me like this?”
“Because I like you, I have liked you many years ago, but you already had someone you liked at that time, so I chose to leave.
“Now that you are alone, I have the right to pursue you. It is your freedom to agree or not and it is my right to pursue you or not.”
It took Renee a long time to fully understand what Jeromy said,
She had suffered once in love and would not fall into the same trap twice, even if it was with two different people.
Renee explained, “Jeromy, I don’t have a uterus, I can’t have children, even if we are

together, we can’t have a family of three. Do you really want to be with me like this?”

“Renee, I like you as a person, not your uterus. If you like children, we can adopt one in the future. If you don’t, we can just live with the two of us forever.
“Renee, you can’t assume that all men in the world are bad just because you met a scumbag. This is unfair to me and to yourself.”
Jeromy’s voice echoed clearly in Renee’s ears.
Renee was upset, pushed Jeromy away and turned the wheelchair in another direction as she said, “Jeromy, give me some time.”
Jeromy was right. She should not limit the rest of her life because of a scumbag like Felix.
Seeing that Renee was finally willing to take a good look at their relationship, Jeromy did not press her any further. “Okay, I’ll wait for you.”
Country Z, Pearson Group’s President’s Office.
Felix stood in front of the French window, his back cold as he asked, “Didn’t you say that the cooperation with the M country’s Bosch Group is foolproof? Why did I get the news that we have been excluded from the scope of this cooperation?”
The Project Manager lowered his head and said tremblingly, “Mr. Pearson, I heard that a Senior Leader from Bosch Group suddenly came and rejected the cooperation between our two companies. I didn’t expect this to happen.
“It’s all the fault of the new boss of the Bosch Group. I heard that she’s the daughter of their chairman. She’s a yellow–haired girl who doesn’t understand what business is at all and does things based on her mood!”
Felix angrily shouted, “That’s enough. I don’t want to hear these useless words. This project is the key to whether our company can successfully go public. I don’t care what method you use. Find out all the information about the new leader. I will go to Country M in person.”
