Chapter 41
Ava.
When Grace brought in our clothes, Willow was the first to stand and rush to her, almost knocking her chair over in the process.
"Calm down, Will. You'll still put it on," Olivia laughed as she applied mascara to my face.
We had started doing our makeup and getting ready before the outfits arrived, and Olivia was already done with hers. I made a mental note to learn how to do my makeup myself and not bother her.
She stopped, hopped down from my table, and pulled me towards Grace, who was checking something off her list.
"Your outfits are here. And Willow, Aiden's got something for you," Grace said, reaching for a box wrapped in a bow at the foot of the rack before handing it to Willow, who screamed excitedly.
"He always gives presents!" she exclaimed, taking the box from Grace and quickly removing the bow. Everyone watched as she opened the box to reveal an iPhone.
"iPhone fucking thirteen!" she yelled, taking out the phone case. Her mouth dropped open wide as she gawked at it in disbelief.
"Fuck! This shit is expensive!" Olivia exclaimed, touching the phone that Willow had taken out of the box, as everyone watched in shock.
A pang of jealousy hit me, but I brushed it away and asked, "Does he always get you guys expensive gifts?" Willow placed the phone back in its case and put the lid back on the box, sliding it under her table.
"Yes, on Mia's birthday, he got her a dinner dress and a designer purse. On Lisa's, he got her a new laptop and a headset because Lisa isn't all about fashion and she codes too, so she needed it. On Olivia's birthday, he got her a private ticket to see a private Beyoncé show," Willow said.
"The best night of my life. She signed an autograph for me and took a picture with me. I had it framed," Olivia said, smiling widely as if remembering the experience.
"When is your birthday?" Lisa asked quietly, and I turned to her.
"August 20," I said, remembering it was Avery and my birthday date. I suddenly wanted to tell them I was a twin but debated against it because then I would have to tell them about Avery's current situation, and I wasn't ready for that conversation, nor did I want to ruin the happy mood with talks of cancer.
"That's next month! I can't wait to see what you get," Olivia said happily.
"Girls, your dresses. This one in the bag is for Ava. Welcome to the club," Grace said, and I smiled as she moved the rack towards us before leaving the room. Everybody's jaw dropped to the floor as we stared at the dress.
The dress was breathtaking. It was red and had a V-neck that was so low, our cleavages were no doubt going to be exposed. It was also short and would reach our thighs. The back was completely exposed, with only a strand of rope running from one end to the other at the waist side.
A pair of black sandal heels sat at the bottom, and Willow was the first to rush towards them.
"This is breathtaking. I'm going to look hot," she squealed before we all regained ourselves and started changing into our respective outfits.
I stood in front of the mirror, admiring how beautiful I looked. The dress hugged me perfectly, showcasing every curve of my body. My cleavage poked out from the front, exposing my pale skin. The sleeves of the gown rested perfectly on my wrists, and I wondered if my breasts would fall out of the dress. But it hugged me so tightly that I figured it wouldn't.
The length stopped at my thighs, exposing my shaven legs. My lips shone in the same color as the dress, bright red. My eyeshadow was light brown, and my eyelashes were longer than usual. Olivia had pulled my hair up and adorned it with pins, exposing my neck. I turned around, and my whole back was exposed too. The dress continued from my waist to my thighs, a few inches away from my butt.
I appeared taller, beautiful, and sexy that I could hardly recognize myself.
"Damn, Ava. You look hot," Willow said from behind me, and I looked back to see that everyone else was also looking sexy. Even Lisa, who had looked awkward when she came in, was now a different person with her makeup darker than everyone else's.
Olivia and Mia were also looking like models, breathtaking and gorgeous. Willow had taken her outfit to the next level when she adjusted the bust slightly, exposing more of her breasts. Her makeup was done so perfectly that I couldn't find any color or shade out of place.
"Wow, you guys look hot too. Willow, are you sure your breasts won't spill out of your dress?" I innocently asked, and everyone laughed, including Mia.
"Even if they do, I'll find a guy to help me push them in," she smirked, and Olivia playfully hit her on the shoulder.
"You're such a slut," she laughed, and everyone else joined in.
"Go see what Aiden got you," Lisa said to me, and I nodded, completely forgetting that he had gotten me a new dress too. I picked up the bag and took out the outfit.
It wasn't a dress but a two-piece outfit. They were both made of shining materials, and the crop top had the word "Queen" on it, while the skirt was beautiful and really short. The bag still felt heavy, and I took out a pair of nude stilettos.
"I feel so jealous right now," Olivia cried as I admired the clothes.
They were beautiful, and I was glad Aiden had gotten them for me. I placed them back into the bag and faced the girls.
"Thank you for accepting me," I said, forcing myself not to cry. Mia snickered, and Olivia hit her with her elbow, causing all of us to smile.
"Welcome to the family once more. We are all glad to have you here," Lisa said, and I nodded before Willow walked into the center of us.
"Enough of being emotional. Ava, I love you, welcome, darling. Now let's get out there and have the best night of our lives!" Willow yelled, and we all cheered as we left the dressing room, our heels clacking against the floor softly.
We pinned our name tags to our dresses and took out jotters as we headed to the entrance. The music had started playing, and a few people were already there.
"So let's all meet at the bar at eight sharp. The ground floor bar. We'll take two shots before going back to work, okay?" Willow said, grinning excitedly.
"Mia and I are on the bottom floor. Ava and Olivia are on the middle floor, while Willow is on the top floor," Lisa said, and we all nodded.
Willow slapped all our butts before leaving, not before saying, "Bye, bitches!" Lisa followed after her, and then Mia.
"Come on," Olivia took my hand, and I couldn't help but chuckle nervously.
"Don't be scared. It's going to be fun, trust me," she smiled before leading us out to the club.
It was already bursting with people who were dancing at every corner. The strippers were at their posts, and I smiled at the DJ who smiled back as Olivia led me up the stairs.
"How many shots do you take before you get drunk?" I asked, clinging onto Olivia so I wouldn't fall because of how high these heels were.
"Usually I can hold myself till five, but if we start taking from 8 till 4, with two shots each, that's eighteen shots," Olivia laughed, and I grimaced. "Let's just say after ten we can't hold ourselves anymore. But don't worry, Aiden has stationed a few bouncers to watch us on each floor so nothing gets out of hand," she finished.
Aiden was really considerate and thought about our safety while we had fun. It made me look at him in a whole new light. On the outside, he was strict, but he didn't want to see any of us get injured or assaulted, taken advantage of by any of the men who might see us drunk and try to have their way.
The middle floor was almost empty, so the bouncers really stood out. Two of them were dressed in black and stood at each end of the room. Olivia and I waved at them before we took our own position, waiting for the floor to get crowded.
It didn't take up to thirty minutes, and Olivia and I were already walking around, taking orders from the customers. The floor was filled already, and I could feel a lot of gazes on me. The high schoolers from the Young Rich level of wealth even spared me a few glances, but none of them did anything.
Soon it was eight, and Olivia nodded at me. We met at the staircase as we started to head downstairs.
"I've never gotten drunk before or even taken any alcoholic drink in my life," I said, my hands started to shake nervously.
Olivia laughed. "You work in a club, and you've never gotten drunk?" she asked in disbelief.
"Yes. Remember, it's only been two weeks, and it is my first time," I argued as we got to the ground floor, squeezing past a lot of people who almost crashed onto us.
"Trust me, it's fun. You won't even know when it hits you," Olivia said, and it did nothing to calm my uneasiness.
I saw Lisa wave over to us with Mia standing by her side, already talking to the bartender. We walked over to them just as Willow appeared.
"So are you guys ready?" Willow asked excitedly, and we all nodded, grinning from ear to ear.
"Good, let's start with something light first," she said before speaking in Spanish to the bartender, who nodded before pulling out a bottle of drink from above him.
"You speak Spanish?" I asked curiously, caught off by the fact that she could speak another language other than English.
"Por supuesto, mi amor. My mom is Mexican," she answered before telling us about how she had been born over there but her mom decided to move to the US after her father died from a stroke, to search for a job. It was not surprising that Willow's mom was a stripper at another club.
"So enough talk," she pulled the tray of ten glasses to our center and grinned excitedly.
"Pick a glass," she said, and all of us took a cup, raising it up in the air. "To a beautiful drunken night," Willow said happily.
"And a happy birthday to Willow!" Olivia said, making all of us laugh.
I hesitated as everyone threw in the contents of their cups into their mouth, closing their eyes tightly before gasping and slamming the cup upside down on the tray.
"Come on Ava, do it," Willow laughed.
"Do it! Do it! Do it!" they chanted, and I took the cup to my lips, pouring it into my mouth.
A sharp sour taste hit my tongue so quickly I squeezed my face and shut my eyes at it before it vanished.
"Fuck!" I coughed, slamming my hand on my chest as they burst into laughter.
"It's like that for the first time. Come on, try the second one," Olivia pushed the glass into my hand, and I shot it down.
The taste wasn't as sharp as the first, but I felt it and stuck out my tongue and took in deep breaths.
"And you called this the light one?" I asked, and they all nodded. Mia pushed the tray back to the bartender.
"And then we still have to drink stronger ones than this?"
"Yes, the next time we come, we would take the one stronger than this, and the next hour we take the one stronger than that one, and on like that we go," Willow said.
"And this is just the first round, we have eight more to go," she laughed. "See you all in the next hour. Woohoo!" she yelled before heading back to the stairs, adjusting her dress a little when it came up too close to her butt.
Mia and Lisa followed, leaving me and Olivia behind. I looked up worriedly at her.
"Are you sure I can do this?" I asked, and she patted me on the shoulder.
"Of course, you can. Come on, let's go," she said, pulling me once again upstairs to attend to the customers, and I dreaded the next hour that had started ticking away quicker than usual.
