Chapter 62 Are you two dating
Rose Pov :
I grained as I opened the door of my shared dorm with Lucy, when I was sure that I already shut the door… I looked around and noticed that she wasn't back yet.
I wonder what her own training is like, training with Seraphine was a very horrible idea I swear.
I think I broke two ribs or three, how many ribs do we have again ?.
I went to the bathroom and took a very cold soothing shower, and changed into new fresh clothes.
I was just ready to lay down when the door open and both David with Lucy came in looking like they were both asked to pack a full shitload.
Lucy slumped to the floor which made me to snicker, she can be so dramatic sometimes.
When they heard my noise, they turned their gaze at me in shock.
“When the fuck did you get here ?”
I shrugged, “ Not long but I did take my shower so…”
“How was your practice, cool right ?”
I shot her a glare and she started laughing, “ My teacher wanted to hit the shit out of me, I don't know who provoked her but man… I couldn't keep up, you need to see how my nose looked like before I took a shower”
Lucy stood up and walked closer to me while David just laid down not even bothering to move a bone.
She examined my nose and shook her head, “ She really did have it out for you… don't worry by tomorrow it would heal vampire's heal faster especially you guy's, the true blood ”
David sat up and stretched before finally looking my way since he came.into the room, “ Did you practice with Rebecca ?, how was it ?”
“I didn't actually practice with her, it was just me and the teacher but she did tell me that Rebecca skipped so I could learn the basic”
Lucy rolled her eyes, “ She always treat others low, I knew she would rather scrub a toilet than train with a newbie on her first day, she's always extra “
I nodded, “ Yeah I figured…so David how was the training ground huh, you guys literally slumped before the door even opened “
I watched as Lucy walked out of the room, and I turned my gaze back to David since he hasn't answered my question yet.
“It was… I don't know the word to use for it but it's a routine so we have gotten used to it… but since we took a break for you new inmates, we kind of got lazy”
I laughed at what he said, now.everybody is blaming we the newcomers for the training.
“Well the thing is that… “
“Rose you want some ?” Lucy asked as she walked into the room with a few bottles of water, practically interrupting me.
“Yeah” I muttered a little thank you when she tossed the water to me.
And she also offered some to David who just grabbed it, seems like he’s too tired.
“I'm gonna go shower, Rose try to get some sleep before morning clocks, and David”
David turned to her and hummed, “Hmm”
“Go to your room, you know you can't sleep here and I know Rebecca would love to give you some work even now if she barges into this room.”
“Ugh…fine, man I'm so tired “
“You are a vampire, shut the fuck up and go to your room… lazy ass”
David stood up and dusted his clothes, “ Shut the fuck up, I'm still better than you, I'm just being nice right now because you offered me water”
With that he walked out of the room practically slamming our door shut, now that shows that he was really angry.
I looked at Lucy, who just shrugged her shoulders and went into the bathroom to do her business.
I laid down back on my bed and kept staring at the wall before my eye's went shut.
I don't know how long I've been sleeping but I heard some rustling beside me and grumbled.
I knew it was already morning and to make matters worst we were exercising.
“Are you gonna keep pretending to be asleep or are you going to get your ass up before Rebecca does”
I groaned into my bed when I heard that name, “ Please it's too early to call that name and I had a nice sleep don't ruin that for me”
Lucy scoffed and grabbed her jacket before she turned to me again, “ Girl, stand the fuck up, or you're gonna go to the training ground alone, you know how it is right ?”
I stood up immediately and rushed to the bathroom to freshen up, I don't like smelling like sweat after exercising.
Within two minutes I was done and Lucy helped me pack my hair up, she said it makes it easy for you to move around.
We went to the training ground for the morning and I could hear Rebecca shouting orders from where I was that practically made me to involuntarily roll my eye, I've had enough of her.
Immediately we came in and signed our name on the paper, we jogged to where Rebecca was, to receive our own share of punishment in form of exercise, this is torture.
If not for the Vampire healing stuff, my nose would have been blue now because of the blows I took from serailast night.
When Rebecca saw us approaching, she gestured for us to be fast.
I quickened my footsteps because as much as I hate her I knew what she was capable of, and when she said something she doesn't bait an eye.
Rebecca smiled at both of her as we muttered our morning greetings, that the extend of authority she had, you can't shit face her at her front.
“Morning, how was your training last night um…Rose “
My heartbeat quickened it's pace when she asked about the practice, miss Seraphine must have told her that I hate her.
“Um it was okay actually, it's not something I can't handle”
She scoffed at what I said but didn't comment on that.
“Lucy your time starts… now, hundred laps let's go”
Lucy nodded then gave an eye contact before she left for her own so it was remaining only me and Rebecca.
She watched the sign Lucy gave me before she looked back at me and just dropped a rather random questions I would say, “ Are you two dating?”
I titled my head to her to know whether I hear her well, is she insane, “ What !?”.
She rolled her eyes at me, “ I said, are you and Lucy a thing”
I felt my jaw drop and I shook my head, “Why the fuck would you even think of that??”.
