Chapter 6: Sisters’ fight for honor

“Hopefully, my younger sister is ready for the game.” As Sandra entered her dwelling, she pondered out loud. Not even Lear, her sister, had expected her to arrive. They thought she was going to bed somewhere else. Perhaps in the hotel of a billionaire. But since she was a teenager, this would be her first time sleeping away.

“O har, o har, o!” She stood at the door to Lear’s room and yelled, calling her sister out. Lear was startled by the way she screamed and recalled her sister telling her to prepare for the game. Sandra’s father was infuriated by the way she yelled, believing that she was intoxicated.

“Is this girl intoxicated?” Her father, Joel asked when he woke up. He turned to face his wife after putting on his pajamas. Sandra persisted in her yell to get her sister to wake up so they could get ready for a fight.

“O har, o har! Sister, the game is still in progress. Now let’s put an end to this.” Her father recalled her remarks made when she was leaving with Times, the billionaire’s driver, who had come to pick her up, as she cried out in a low voice. Even her mother, Anne was awakened by the older daughter’s yell. In order to diffuse her daughter’s rage, she had to persuade her husband to act.

“Check it out. Never before has your child been so angry with her sibling.” Joel received advice from his spouse, Anne, who shared a bed with him. When he did emerge from his bedroom, he discovered that his daughter was banging on Lear’s door. Lear begged her father for help given that the weight was so heavy.

“Please come help me, dad. My sister is upset with me.” Lear began shouting when she heard her father talking to Sandra outside the door. She then stopped sobbing and paid attention.

“I’ll be the first to challenge you tonight. Would you be interested in challenging your sister?” When Joel arrived, he laughed in Sandra’s face. He made moves that would have shocked his angry daughter; he appeared to be a fighter in training.

“Come on, please. While there are just the two of us, let’s fight.” Joel put his daughter to the test. Rather, she merely laughed as her internal strength was undermined by her father’s attempts to make her laugh. Lear’s curiosity took over. Her intention was to watch the fight as it shifted away from her.

Sandra sat on the floor and asked, laughing, “Were you a boxer?” Joel took a seat beside her, and a father and daughter started talking. Lear’s gaze was drawn in closer as she leaned against the door to hear her father and older sister converse.

“My father is the best when it comes to taming an angry beast.” Lear listened in on her father and sister’s conversation from close to the door. Despite her desire to come out, she was afraid to do so and had this thought. Joel had been able to soothe her daughter and calm her down, something her mother had observed.

“I was an excellent boxer. I have gold belts and medals from my boxing career.” He talked about sharing his early memories with his daughter. Sandra came up with a scheme to pique her sister’s interest by giving the money to her father first and then promising to give it to her after she had finished dealing with him. Sandra wanted to win her father’s love, even though he was a multimillionaire, to ensure that her night out with the tycoon wasn’t in vain.

“Please give me your credit card details if it’s okay with you.” Sandra told her dad the news. “Auntie Anne helped me get money from the guy I hung out with.” She went on, giving her surprised father a quick glance. Joel took his daughter’s hands and grinned at her.

“You’re growing up. You’re developing personally. I am so proud of you, my love. Would you kindly tell me about your outing experience?” He gave his daughter comfort. Her story seemed complicated, so she wasn’t sure where to start. He did not, however, divulge his bank account details despite his daughter’s request. The assisting hand he observed his daughter having was the only thing that moved him.

“This seems like a complicated story. Give it to your sister who is younger. Transfer the funds you intended to give me to her.” Joel gave Sandra, his daughter, advice. He got to his feet and banged on Lear’s door.

“Open up, my darling.” He introduced himself to his daughter as the one who had knocked. She saw the ruse Sandra might have cooked up to call her out, even though she really wanted to come out and take the money from her sister.

“What if I open the door and Sandra attacks me?” She cried out in a shivering tone. Joel fixed his gaze on Sandra, who gave her father a smile.

Then, as your father, I will be keeping an eye out for you.” Joel gave his daughter the go-ahead to exit her room. It was tough for her to come out because of her sister’s threats. They use different rooms to sleep. Sandra was getting ready to head to her bedroom when Lear opened the door but stayed inside. Sandra moved in closer to her sister, giggling at her. Sandra was faced with a slammed door as Lear locked it.

“Little sister, give me your banking details so I can give you access to the billionaire’s treasures.” Sensing her sister’s fear after she had threatened her, Sandra yelled.

Her door was still closed when she spoke. Her father opted to observe his children’s performance. In fact, Sandra received the Whatsapp message that Lear sent with her bank account details. As she transferred ten thousand dollars to her sister’s account, her father was standing beside her. Yes, the funds were visible in her bank account, but he had low expectations from her sister, who had repeatedly threatened her.

“Oh, my gods.” Is that true?” When she noticed $10,000 show up in her account, she cried out in excitement. She thanked her sister by pushing open the door and giving her an embrace.

“Many thanks for that. Many thanks for that.” As they cuddled in front of their father, Joel, she screamed and lay in her sister’s arms. Their mother, Anne, watched standing outside of her room while her daughters gave each other hugs from outside her room door. The time was twelve in the early hours of the day. Even though she was wearing a gown, she stood by the door where her daughters embraced, not realizing that her older daughter was planning a scheme to cause damage to her younger sister.

“Are you prepared for a game?” Sandra made another threat against her sister. She was shocked to find that her older sister actually wanted to punish her, and she became enraged with Sandra for it. She made the decision to confront her sister and let her know it. Still, as she stared at her sister, the question lingered in her mind.

“Did my sister give me $10,000 just to give me a beating?” She couldn’t stop asking herself the same questions.

“Let’s square off in my dad’s boxing ring. You keep the money you recently gave me if I lose.” Lear confronted her sister. She went to her room to prepare for a fight in a boxing ring. She had on a spot bra and a short. Joel ran to get the boxing gloves from his room. Joel’s wife was aware that he would encourage his children to fight while it was midnight.

“Are you nuts? Are you unaware that midnight has already passed?” Anne reprimanded her husband, thinking he was impressed by the way her girls behaved. Sandra came out of her room, ready for a fight with her younger sister, wearing shorts and a sports bra. As if she hadn’t initially been afraid of her sister, Lear came out of her room and was getting ready for a match. As if they were unaware that it had become midnight, Anne ran to her youngsters as they warmed up for the game. Sandra had forgotten the details of her night out with the tycoon. Her battle with her younger sister was all that was left.

“Return to your bed, Joel’s crazy kids!” Standing by the door to her bedroom, their mother angrily yelled at them. They made fun of her and went back to practicing for the fight. Joel came out of the room where he kept his training materials. Lear received two gloves from him, which he dressed up. He gave Sandra the other pair of gloves, leaving her sister by herself. When he looked at the time, he saw that it was later in the evening than twelve. He gave a little whistle.

“I am the official referee for Lear and Sandra’s match tonight!” Shouting, he made his way to his boxing ring to warm up for the fight as a referee. Lear followed him, and Sandra followed him as well. With her husband leading the way, Anne was left to yell at her insane family.

“Hello! The crazy daughters of Joel. Are you okay with me beating you up?” Anne screamed at her kids, but all they did was giggle. Joel arrived at the boxing ring and started taking things off of it. Then he signaled his daughter over to the ring. Anne watched from her seat in the chairs. Sandra went into the ring first, and then Lear. Joel intended to discuss the match’s theme so that his daughters would understand why they were fighting. Like he was raising the boxers’ hands, he grasped her daughters’ hands.

“The game’s loser tonight will be considered the younger sister. She’ll be ruled by her elder sister. She is going to honor her sister.” Joel made these remarks prior to opening the ring so his daughters could engage in combat. Anne was stunned by what was happening and kept shaking her head with her arms folded as she sat on the chairs. She had no idea where Sandra had gone, but she later came to confront her sleeping younger sister.

“Struggle until the end. There is not going to be a retreat or a surrender!” He walked over to his wife’s seat, whistling, and yelling things like that so he could watch his daughters fight. He was laughing so hard at the march during their fight that he was unable to stop. When Anne turned to face her husband, she saw how ecstatic he was about his daughters’ match.

“In the event that these children hurt one another, who will transport them to the hospital?” She chastised her husband for his immodest habits in allowing the kids to fight on his boxing ring at night while shaking her head in response. The match had already begun. Lear seemed to be slipping away from her Sandra at the time. It was this that made Anne crazy. To observe her older child beating up her younger child as though she were an enemy. Due to the pressure from her older sister, the young girl began to lose focus.

“Papa! Papa! Do come and lend a hand. My sister hit my eye with her magic punch.” Lear wept to her father, who seemed unaffected by the clarifications she provided. Anne yelled, “Are you hurt, my baby?” as she got to her feet. As soon as her mother realized that her elder child, Sandra was beating up her young child, she was already on her feet and prepared to run to the boxing ring to break up the altercation.

“My baby, fight on, baby, fight!” He laughed and yelled at them. It was revealed to Anne that Joel was the reason for the way her kids were fighting. Lear’s vision was blurry due to damage to her eye. To break up the fight, Anne ran to the ring. Joel followed after her and pulled Anne back to the chair.

“Let them instill respect in one another. Sandra ought to know that she is Lear’s older sister.” Joel screamed at his wife, who became entangled in her husband’s conversation. She was afraid to defy her husband’s orders, so she stood by the ring. She watched with tears streaming down her cheeks as Sandra beat Lear so badly that she screamed as she exited the ring. She sobbed as she threw herself into her mother’s arms. Joel laughed so hard he ran to the ring. This demonstrated her support for Sandra, his older daughter. He raised Sandra’s right hand and counted to ten as soon as he got there. He called Lear back to the ring by doing this. Lear, however, sustained damage to her left eye, which started to swell. Joel was about to announce the sister’s night match winner.

“And Sandra has won the match tonight.” Joel gave Sandra a hug and let out a happy cry. “From tonight on, Sandra will have command over Lear. She will comply with all of Sandra’s requests because she is her older sister.” He continued his conversation before leaving the boxing arena and making his way to his bedroom while everyone laughed. Sandra noticed how puffed up her sister’s eye and started to feel sorry for her. She hurried to take the blocks of ice out of the deep freezer. She approached her and gave it to her. Anne looked at Sandra and shook her head.

“In this house, you and your father are the most insane people.” Sandra’s mother, Anne, yelled this as Sandra was heading to her bedroom. She got in the shower and started taking a bath. Joel had gone to sleep after declaring the night match winner, leaving Anne to console her young daughter.

“Tomorrow, Mom is taking you to the hospital.” This is what Anne said, consoling her daughter. Lear appeared to be at odds with her mother, though. She had another idea and decided against going to the hospital, even though she might have thought about going there.

“I don’t think you need to. If I use this ice block, I believe I’ll be alright.” Lear retorted. She stood up and went to face her mother.

“I apologized to myself for leaving my room. I felt like my sister was going to give me a hard time.” Lear started crying once more and threw herself into her mother’s arms.

“Let’s sleep in your room together.” She said, trying to pick up her daughter. When she was unable to, Lear made fun of her.

“Mom, do you think you could hold me up to my full potential?” She asked as her mother led her out of her father’s boxing room. Anne was attempting to show her child, whose eye had been injured by her older sister’s punch, her maternal side as a mother.

“You are my offspring. I used to be supportive of you, but I’m getting older. Lear, I know you’re in pain. I’m not happy to see you in this state.” As Anne walked into Lear’s bedroom from Joel’s boxing room, she stated. When she got there, Lear went to the bathroom and examined herself in the mirror. After being beaten up by her older sister, she felt ashamed of herself when she saw the swollen face.

When Anne went to her bedroom, she found Joel dozing off and snoring so loudly that it sounded like he was acting. She looked at him, grinning, and shook her head. She reached into her purse for her medication and took out some painkillers. Then, after going back to Lear, she gave her the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs to take for her pain.

“I’ll be fine on my own, so you can sleep in your room. Thank you very much, mother.” She assured her mother, holding her hand. After leaving her daughter’s bedroom, Anne went to her own and slept next to her snoring husband. Lear took a shower to remove the perspiration from her body before going to sleep. I could tell Sandra had already fallen asleep.
