Chapter 86 My Brother is Looking for You - Part 3
Monica ended the call, and Elena smiled ear to ear.
"Thank you, dear friend," Elena said and smiled at Monica.
"Don't rejoice yet. My cousin is now going to try to arrange for a meet-up," Monica said.
"I feel positive within me. I will get to meet Ms Zora," Elena said. "Great, let's go to our class, we have an hour," she added.
Elena made a payment, and they both left the coffee shop. Elena called her mother, unaware she was being monitored.
"Hello mum, everything went through successfully. I am positive I will meet Ms Angela's friend soon," Elena said as they stood by the roadside in front of the coffee shop.
"Elena, don't get too excited yet. Wait till you meet Ms Angela, and we can be excited about it," Patricia said.
"Awww, mum. Be positive for once. I will see her before this weekend," Elena said enthusiastically, and Monica just stared at her side profile, shaking her head.
Monica raised her hand and stopped a cab, and the two entered. A man who was sitting behind a table in front of the coffee shop quickly pulled out a phone.
"Ms Susan, I found Ms Elena, and indeed she is looking for Ms Angela. They are planning a meet-up. I will keep you posted," the man reported to Susan while writing the details of the car Elena and Monica had entered.
"Good, continue following her and update me on all her moves," Susan said, and the man ended the call.
He typed the details he had written and texted them to someone. He dialled the number and stood to his feet.
"I have sent you the details of a car. There are two ladies in that car. I have sent their images to you. Follow them and report back to me," the man said and left the place.
Back at A&J Groups, Angela had finished with her first part of orientation. She was getting ready for the second part when Zora walked up to her.
"So how are you blending in?" Zora asked, and Angela smiled.
"Okay. It's not difficult. I can do it," Angela said
"I knew you could; that is why I recommended you, but I don't think your brain got you the job, your appearance did," Zora said.
"OH dear, Zora," Angela said.
"It's true, we can have a business from that and be our boss," Zora said.
"The only business we will have from what you are describing is the escort business. I am not in for that," Angela said.
"Why about an escort business where the guys are not allowed to touch," Zora said.
"You are crazy," Angela said
"Hi Zora," came a male voice, and the two ladies turned to see a young handsome man walking up to them.
"Elorm, last I checked, I am the only one called Zora, but I am not the only one standing here," Zora scolded Elorm.
"Calm down, Zora," Angela said.
"He likes doing that. He will see five people and call the name of the person he knows out loud," Zora complained.
"I am sorry, I honestly did see her," Elorm replied.
"Hmmm, you mean to tell me you didn't see this sparkling diamond?" Zora asked.
"I honestly didn't," Elorm replied, adjusting his glasses.
"Hmmm, your glasses need to be changed, " Zora said and folded her arms across her chest.
"Apologies. I am Elorm, and you are?" Elorm said to Angela.
"Apologies. I am Elorm, and you are?" Zora imitated Elorm, making faces.
"Zora!" Angela called out to Zora.
"Don't worry. She has a crush on me, and this is the best way she handles it," Elorm said, not at all bothered by Zora's unwelcoming behaviour.
"You wish," Zora replied immediately, and Angela laughed at the chemistry between the two.
"That I do always, and I'm glad they come true," Elorm said.
"I know something brought you here. So spit it out," Zora said, folding her arms across her chest again.
"Give me your hand, and I will spit it out," Elorm said, smiling.
"Ewui," Zora said making a face and moving away from him. "Disgusting fellow," she said, and Angela laughed.
"Anyway, it's my cousin. She wants to see you, Zora," Elorm said.
"She is adorable. I will see her. When?" Zora asked, suddenly fixing her clothes.
"Is that dressing for my female cousin or me?" Elorm asked, and Zora stopped fixing her clothes, making Angela laugh again. "You see, I told them she likes me. She never wasted an opportunity to come by my house," he added, looking at Angela and Zora, who frowned. "How about tomorrow after work?" he suggested.
"Whatever, I will be there," Zora said, pulling Angela.
The two left the place, and Elorm returned to his seat beaming with smiles.
"I see you like him," Angela said.
"No," Zora replied, her voice high, and she adjusted her clothes. "What gave you such an impression that I like monkeys?" she asked.
"Your red face," Angela said. "And the glow in your eyes and childish behaviour," She added. "Should I continue?" she asked.
