Chapter 3: Chapter Two

Greetings and welcoming. Reese was not mistaken in thinking that the employees in their company miss him he treats them all. He was so kind. Even though he is the son of a billionaire. He always put himself in others' shoes. He chose to be humble because that was the right thing to do. But Reese is unlucky when it comes to love. Was it a curse on his bloodline?

Reese also sometimes dreams of meeting a sensible woman unlike Arexia back then. It's a pity he doesn't have the diamond proposal ring anymore. That would have been what he would have used to propose to Nicky. No matter what kind of woman is Nicky, she deserves to wear that expensive ring, as long as she'll becomes sensible and ready to give Reese a child.

Sometimes Reese thought of surrogacy, maybe that's the easiest way, there are a lot of pretty ladies that's jobless, he can find one, fits the criteria, and pay her for millions as long as her gene is good. But he was too young for that. It's his family that forced him to get married and have a child.

When he was alone in his private

the office he preoccupied himself with writing. Writing was Reese's first love. He's bleeding in writing and his stories were written with pain, pains. Because it always bears his bitter ideas to love, a feeling of bitterness, it's where his hearts belong.

When six o'clock strikes he was out and he had to go to the Mccollen Bookstore to buy Uncle Tom's Cabin that his Grandmother wanted him to buy. He already has what he is looking for and he needs to find other best-selling books.

His Dad told him to have his security guard because big gangs might kidnap him. Is his Dad kidding him? He thought that it was too frivolous to have a personal guard following him wherever he goes.

For example, if he's kidnapped and the kidnapper asked for ransom, well, he will give what they asking for, without letting know Don Carlos his son is kidnap. Easy as that.

La Ultimo Memorias thought Reese. Well, that was a good novel and worth reading. It will help him to sharpen his imagination as a novelist. Reese was not disappointed and he found what he was looking for. But there was only one book left.

And he was too lucky. Reese was about to pick up the book but suddenly there was a hand first holding the body of the book. He holds that hand so firm. Yes, So firmly and he seems to have no intention of letting it go. No way I was the first one who touched it! he said to himself.

"It's mine," he said casually.

"Yours? How can you say so? Well, I touched it first. Now let go of my hand. My hand you're clutching 'stupid!" a gentle voice.

The woman's voice was familiar to him but a part of his memory did not work to get an anamnesis. But the tone of her voice seems to connect him to something in his past, he wasn't sure what it was. Maybe he lost it and every part of him wanted to excavate the memories.

He looked up at the woman whose cute and sweet smile greeted him. She looks decent and based on her external appearance the woman looks smart and honorable Ms-honorable and hell I care putty-head! Reese whispered.

"Damn get it then," he said letting go of her hand and then walking away. But the truth is he was not comfortable in the position of their hands.

"Let me guess," she began thinking "You're a novelist right? I saw your picture in one of the novels here entitled 'Love at Eiffel' and I bought it." She smiled.

The smile seemed familiar to the young man. He wants something to drift or flash on his memories. But it won't work. Reese's memory didn't work. Woe. “Oh gracias, señora.”

"I want an autograph. Your signature will do, Please." She smiled as she handed her a little cute notebook and a ballpoint pen. He quickly did what she wanted.

"Gracias señor."

Not wanting to have any further conversation. Reese went on searching for bestselling novels.

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Medel."

"H-how did you know my last name?" he asked turning his back on her again.

The beautiful woman chuckled then she raised the novel. The novel belongs to Reese.

"Ah, I see," he said like a fool. But he felt that the woman knew him, and he also has feelings that he knew her. It was as if something was awakening in him when he saw the woman's appearance. It could be distant memories.

"And you're CEO too, I know, who can't? Everyone recognized you even if you dress simply. Young Billionaire. But people nowadays oy care about celebrities, they often talk about billionaires, but they didn’t care." she said interestingly.

Reese guessed that the girl read a lot about the author, about him. Well, it's a natural thing. But reading about the author's information wasn't his thing. Reese smiled slightly and then went straight to the counter.

***

Reese sighed with relief. Fortunately, he thought of bringing a car this morning because it was raining so hard at that time. That was the only thing he was fortunate with.

He was passing Aijaxlife bar where his friend, Matt, was bartending. When through the rearview mirror he saw the woman standing outside the bar without even an umbrella or raincoat.

She! That jerk again! Reese whispered. She hugged the book pathetically close to her chest. She's a storybook princess, a wide reader maybe, or a fan of some great romance novels. Reese guessed that girl was probably waiting for a taxi. He stopped the car in front of her.

Reese got out of his car and he looked at her. And she was looking at him too. What a coincidence and their eyes were met invented the heart eyes. Reese blinked when he noticed the sparkle in her eyes. Her blue teasing eyes fondle Reese's core. He was a man but he found no nerve at all to stand his heartbeat.

A moment later he was wondering when she smiles and it spells gentle and romantic, therefore his eyebrows meet and form two colliding rainbows. Thanks! He whispered after his heart finds its way home because he feels his heart lost in cupid's garden.

She smiled. "You again."

"Why? Have you seen an Enchanto?" Reese replied sarcastically.

"Yeah, so gorgeous Enchanto. He's already in front of me," she said, smirking.

"One."

"Two," she rambled.

"I'll throw you out of here. Wait and see." He warned her.

"Yes, and I'll wait," she grinned.

"Mi Dios. I can't believe that I found some meshuga people like her in this place." He verbalized.

"Crazy?"

He shrugged his shoulders.

"Want this book?" she refers to the book she hugged

He shook his head "I refuse to say yes. Just read it so you can learn something. You're about to tear the cover of that book. What a quick hand. Don't waste your effort since you gave all your strength to snatch that earlier." But inside him, he wanted to have that book. He needs to read something that lies in the Chapter.

She smiled "Then give me your number."

"What for?" Reese stunned.

"When I finish reading it. I can inform you so that you can borrow it." She smiled again.

"Uh, I think that was a good idea from a birdbrained stranger. You know, I'm such a confidential person, my identity cannot be exposed in a crowded place." He heaved.

"Mome, My name is Zev. I told you everyone recognizes you. The tone of your voice seems you're afraid of something. Billionaire thing? CEO thing? Ah, I don't know things about billionaires." She was curious about it.

"Beautiful name." He commented.

"Gracias," (Thank you) he said with a grin.

"Sounds like rolling in the deep." He added.

"I don't give a fuck," she said looking at the wristwatch she was wearing. “Oh, sorry for my language, man.”

"Oh, need a lift?"

"No gracias. I'm waiting for my friend to pick me up here."

"Tell me where you are going, and I'll drop you."

"No thanks, even I want to ride in one of the most expensive cars in your company."

"Let's go."

"Hmmm... I said thanks."

"Tara (let's go) I consider it impolite since I'm willing but you refuse it."

"No thanks." She smiled.

Reese couldn't do anything no matter how hard he tried. Her friend came and was ready to pick her up. He gave Zev his cellphone number.

"I'll message you later so you can save my number too." She stepped to where her friend parked the car

"Sure, but the book, hah. I'll see you." He bid and gazed at his car then entered the bar. Women who were adoring him stared at him as he walked towards the counter.

That night instead of attending the party for the announcement of his presidency -Executive president at the main branch of MMC he preferred to stay at a hotel to rest. He did not want to be disturbed and did not want the party prepared for him.

That freaking party can pressure him. He undressed in his room and stood naked inside the bathroom mirror. His member hanging flaccid between his leg. He looked in the mirror at the smooth pubic hair on his chest towards his navel.

He looked so hot. A magazine boy. Before his manhood alive he on the shower and he closed his eyes when he felt the water pouring on his head and body. He was sitting on tiles naked.

Early in the morning, he drove back, when he got out in his car he saw his abuela standing at the front door her hands were on her waist.

"Oh, you looked like a mannequin grandma." He immediately noticed her eyebrow that ark. She's an outspoken grandma, old-fashioned, but everybody's grandma is old fashion.

She said sternly, "you were at the bar last night. Drunk."

"Who told you?" he wondered, his Grandma might send someone to spy him.

"Why don't you come home early, hijo? the party was a freak success if you were here!"

"The important thing is that you've announced to the public the thing that you wanted to disclose publicly. I'm sorry but I don't care if you people almost die from your happiness last night." He grinned.

"That's a mean thing to say, Reese."

"Well, I'm just telling the truth. Sorry. Here's your Uncle Tom Cabin"

"Muchas Gracias." (Thank you very much.)

"De nada (You're welcome) Hope you'll learn something from that book. But super indifferent Lola." Grandma He turned his back on her and he walked away.

"You're going to see your Dad," she called.

"I'm not going to see anybody. Let me alone." He wasn't interested. Not at all. He'd better jerk off than talk to someone. When he reached his room he threw himself on his bed.

He thought of calling Nicky to let her know that everything was okay. From wedding invitations to her Traje de Boda that are ready to ship from France. But Reese was disappointed that his fiance's number was unreachable.

Surprisingly, he dismissed the negative thoughts in his mind. He tried to be positive and believe in the magic of destiny. He knew at that time that it was within his reach that he had the dream of his Dad to him. Even if he says he has objections, he has to favor what his Dad wants, he understands his Dad especially since he is an only child. Don Carlos is excited to have grandchildren.

He suddenly thought of Zev. Beautiful, decent, and kind, he had no idea why the image of the lady suddenly entered his mind and her beauty played into his system. Her skin was flawless. But she looks like Tibo (lesbian), or maybe it's her style.

Her lips red as the petal of a rose reminded him of a lady who saved him. That's what he was thinking when they met yesterday. So he came up with the thought that she seemed familiar. Impossible. He had to forget the woman who had saved him. Because if he doesn't do that it's like he's just reliving a dark past of his life. It's time to fix the broken parts caused by the cruelness of this world and his playful fate. He sighed and tried to call Nicky again but it still can't be reached and he was worried.
