Chapter 102 Pacified

Chapter 102 Pacified
“Yes, baby. Come on, I want to see your pp, hmm,” Alex winked at him again, raising his hand to unwrap his towel.
Lucas shot to his feet, shyness enveloping him. “Please, stop being naughty.”
Alex stifled a laugh, his eyes mischievous as he stood up and grabbed Lucas, pulling him into his arms. “Feeling shy?” Alex chortled.
“Come on, baby relax, don't blame me for being curious. You got two P”s. It felt like a miracle. It's amazing. You know If you don't want to show me today, how about tomorrow, hmm?” He said closer to his ear, giving him a little bite.
   “Alex…” Lucas whispered.
“Yes baby, that's my name.” He pressed a kiss to his neck. “So you’re saying no test ride for daddy tonight, hmm.” He whispered as he walked around to face Lucas.
Their eyes met, and Alex caressed his cheek. “I can't wait to feel them. Tell me, do you feel the urge on the other side too?”
Lucas stared down, avoiding Alex’s eyes as he nodded, his shyness very obvious.
Alex lifted his chin to face him. “So, you’re saying, you were wet for me in the bathroom a while ago?”
Lucas stared at him and smiled shyly without saying a word.
“Oh my sweetness, this is awesome.” Alex leaned in and kissed him gently. I love you so much, baby. Come on and change into something warm.”
Alex led him towards the closet. He picked out a pair of pajamas and handed them to him. “Are you hungry?”
“No, I'm okay.” Lucas responded as Alex turned to the other side of the closet and put on his own pajamas.
As he turned, his eyes captured Lucas’s butt as he wore the clothes. He whistled, “Nice butts baby.”
“Alex,” slipped from his mouth. Lucas nearly jumped as he pulled it up hurriedly “Naughty you.”
Alex laughed out happily and walked over to him as he put on the top. “Now I know why you don't  have an Adam's apple.” He said and caressed his neck and placed a fast kiss there.
“Come and drink some water and rest for the day.”
Lucas nodded as they both drank some water and retired for the day.
Sometime past midnight, the city lights outside the window had dimmed, and the steady hum of night wrapped the house in silence.
Lucas lay beside Alex, his head resting against his shoulder, their fingers loosely intertwined over the blanket. For the first time in years, he had said the words out loud, his secret, the truth he had hidden from the world. And Alex had stayed.
At first, Lucas slept. But sleep didn’t hold him for long.
A sudden dream came, half memory, half fear, then suddenly, it jerked him awake.
He sat up abruptly, breath uneven, his chest rising and falling quickly. For a moment he didn’t know where he was.
The room was dark and quiet. His heart pounded in his ears.
Then the memories rushed back, the confession, the shower, Alex’s promise. Lucas turned slowly and gazed beside him.
Alex was still there, sleeping soundly beside him. The sight should have calmed him. But instead, doubt crept in like a shadow.
What if he woke up tomorrow and changed his mind.? What if he started seeing me differently?
Lucas swallowed hard, hugging his arms around himself, then slid quietly off the bed.
He moved toward the window, staring out into the dim quiet street.
   Behind him, the mattress shifted.
Alex had always been a light sleeper. His eyes opened slowly, adjusting to the dim room. When he realized the space beside him was empty, he pushed himself up immediately.
“Lucas?” His voice was rough with sleep.
Lucas stiffened slightly by the window, then responded, “Alex, I’m here,” he said softly.
Alex ran a hand through his hair and stood up, crossing the room toward him. Even in the faint light, he could see the tension in Lucas’s shoulders.
   “You okay?” Alex asked gently.
Lucas didn’t answer right away.
His fingers tightened against the curtain fabric.
“I woke up and thought, maybe you will change your mind by morning,” he admitted quietly.
   Alex frowned slightly. “About what?”
Lucas finally turned to face him.
“About me.” The vulnerability in his eyes made Alex’s chest tighten.
Without hesitation, Alex stepped forward and pulled Lucas into his arms.
Lucas melted into him instantly, like he had been waiting for it.
“Lucas,” Alex murmured against his hair, “I meant every word I said.”
Lucas’s voice was barely a whisper against his chest. “People say things in the moment, but when reality sets in they will change their decision.”
Alex gently tilted his chin up so their eyes met. “Sweetheart, reality is exactly why I’m still here,” Alex said.
Lucas searched his face again, still fragile with doubt. Alex brushed his thumb across Lucas’s cheek.
“Do you really think something about your body could scare me away?” he asked softly.
   Lucas didn’t answer.
Alex gave a small, amused breath. “You survived hiding something that big your whole life,” he said. “That makes you stronger than most people I know. So why worry now?”
Lucas blinked, surprised but muttered, “I don't want to lose you. I love you, Alex.” He said with a cracked voice and almost in a whisper.
Alex kissed his forehead and whispered, “I love you too, baby. And for the record,” Alex added quietly, “nothing about you feels wrong to me, okay.”
The words settled slowly in Lucas’s chest as he wrapped his arms around Alex resting his head on his shoulder.
Alex relaxed and encircled his arms around him too. “Hey, everything is going to be alright, okay.”
Then he pulled him gently back toward the bed. “Come on,” he murmured. “You need to sleep. It had been a long day.”
Lucas hesitated only a second before letting himself be guided back.
They lay down again, but this time Alex pulled him closer. Lucas’s head rested on his chest, while Alex’s arm stayed secured around his back.
Lucas listened to the steady rhythm of Alex’s heartbeat for a  moment and then whispered softly, “You’re really not leaving.”
Alex pressed a slow kiss into his hair. “No sweetheart, not in this lifetime.”
Lucas finally relaxed against him, the tightness in his chest easing.
Outside, the night carried on quietly.
And for the first time in a long time, Lucas allowed himself to believe he didn’t have to face it alone anymore.
A thin line of sunlight slipped through the curtains, painting the bedroom in soft gold. The world outside had begun to wake, but inside the room, everything still felt calm.
Lucas stirred first. For a moment he didn’t move. His head was resting on Alex’s chest, exactly where he had fallen asleep again during the night. Alex’s arm was still wrapped securely around his waist, holding him close even in sleep.
Lucas listened to the slow rhythm of Alex’s heartbeat. It was steady and real. He lifted his head slightly to look at him.
Alex’s face was relaxed, the sharp tension he often carried gone completely. In sleep, he looked younger and softer.
Lucas felt something warm settle in his chest. He stayed, the thought still felt unreal. Carefully, Lucas shifted a little, but Alex’s arm tightened instinctively around him.
“Trying to escape?” Alex murmured without opening his eyes.
Lucas blinked in surprise. “You were awake?”
