Chapter 151 need a nap
KAREN'S POV
Sensation woke me up. Sensation between my legs.
"What is happening to me?" Puzzled, I opened up my eyes. The room was bright, everything fine but something was wrong. My body felt flushed, hypersensitive. Then it hit me.
Jaden was nestled down between my legs. My legs were wide spread with his tongue running over my pussy. I felt my body tense at the realization. I couldn't see him. He was under the blankets, but he had my hips in his hands and his tongue was flicking down there.
This was damn unbelievable. The erotic moment was making me feel like I was in heaven. That was it but instead of moaning, I kicked unto his shoulders. I wasn’t going to submit myself to him.
"Leave me alone," I shook my legs, but he was strong, and my panties were also slowly sliding down.
"Stop it," I shouted, no longer interested. He just fucked Harriet, and here he was in my legs.
Just a shameless beast.
"No one orders . .... ",.
"Alpha Jaden."
Just as he began, someone knocked on the door.
"You saved this time," he groaned out before he sauntered to his bathroom, irritated.
As soon as he was gone, I bolted upright, feeling my heart pound against my chest. My eyes scanned the room in disbelief, my breath catching in my throat.
Tired, I threw back the covers and my panties that were still around my ankles. I pulled them out of the mess of tangled up sheets, then made my way to the bathroom. As soon as I reached there, I leaned against the door, breathing heavily, my palms flat against the cool wood. I stood there for a minute, my mind racing.
"What should I do? I can't escape from here," I whispered to myself, hopeless.
Lost in thoughts, I stood there for how long I didn’t know, with my hands over my ears, shutting out everything. After all those minutes, I still got no solution, and with that, I stood up under the shower and scrubbed myself for at least 20 minutes. I tried to wash him away, but I swear I smelled like sex, like him.
When I came out of the bathroom wrapped up in the towel, I noticed the clothes on the edge of the bed. There was a stack of ladie's t-shirts, tank tops, a pile of several new pairs of underwear with the tags still on, yoga pants, a pair of capris, and dresses. I got dressed up in just a simple outfit, then sat down on the bed, my fingers tracing the hem of the shirt. I had nothing to do other than sleeping.
Someone knocked and entered inside without my permission...
"Oh good, they all fit," Zara’s blonde head popped through the door as she stepped in with a bright smile.
"Thank you," I uninterestedly replied. The moment she realized that I was attacked by wolves, she stayed on my side, caring for me. But still, I didn’t accept her friendship. She explained to me everything when my wounds healed faster. Everything that was happening to my body was unbelievable. I had no scar or wound just flawless skin where torn flesh used to be.
"I know it’s unconventional, but I had to do it," she whispered as she sat down next to me.
"I’m here for you and at your service," she continued with a wide smile on her face.
I nodded slowly, not sure of what to do or say. Part of me wanted to trust her. The other part stayed guarded.
"Come over and have a walk with me," she went on, trying again. What the heck? She was being more friendly even though I was ignoring her.
"I’m... I want to sleep..." I shook my head.
"Come on, Idris isn’t around. Let’s go and have breakfast together," she cut me off mid-sentence.
"Out of this room?" My interest picked up slightly.
"XD yeah, let’s go."
Before I could respond, she stood up, grabbed my hand, and led me out of the room. As expected, the guards were around but they said nothing. She must have told them to let me free for today. Slowly, she led me through the hallway until we arrived in the modern kitchen.
It was luxuriously built and outside of it, there were some patio doors leading to the patio area.
"Sit here," she told me.
"What should I bring you, coffee or tea?" she dramatically asked.
"Coffee, three sugars," I retorted.
"Three sugars? That’s bad," she waved her hand dismissively.
"I will wean off you."
She brought me back the coffee.
"Here it is," she smiled.
I smiled back, but I was already missing my freedom. Everything she was doing right now was making me recall Amanda. She was always sweet to me, and betraying me was the least thing I expected. There was an illusion of freedom in front of me, but I didn’t even know how to start reaching for it.
"I’m gonna keep you company," she said as she took her coffee. She was trying to be good to me but I wasn’t interested.
"Why is your brother acting rude to me?"
The question, out of the blue, fell out of my mouth. It was unexpected, and her smile disappeared.
"Karen, I know how you're currently feeling, but I’m with you," she spoke out.
"I will always be on your side," she continued, choosing to ignore my question altogether.
"Uhmm," I hummed, lost at words. She was now ruining my mood. I just wanted to leave.
"Karen, I do know how you feel, but I’m honestly also afraid of Idris. He wasn’t like that before. I know he is now rude, always angry but that’s the way Alphas behave."
"You always have to be tough and feared by everyone," she went on explaining as I concentrated on my coffee. I knew nothing about their Alpha issues and I wasn’t concerned. I was just surprised by her opening up to me about Idris.
"You need to eat." When she noticed that I was only drinking the coffee, she motioned at my plate.
"Yeah, thanks," I took a small bite of it.
"You’re resistant to this and that’s understandable, but Idris isn’t a bad man. Yes, he has dark demons but he is going to change."
Her words this time pissed me off.
"I’m a prisoner, Chloe," I angrily whispered out.
"You will see, under his... You will see," she cryptically said, not offering any other explanation.
I scoffed in annoyance, then placed the cup down.
"Karen, look, I know it that he has dark tendencies. But I have a feeling that you will bring him to light," she went on.
Hearing her say that, I just ignored her and stared out at the forest beyond the pool. I was done listening to her. This was all pointless, and I didn’t want to argue with her.
"I hope we can be friends. You can come to me when you need something," she said, standing up.
"Should I give you the tour around the pack?" she piped up. She was honestly talkative. Even after seeing that I was ignoring her, she just went on with talking.
"Actually, I would like to lie down," I uninterestedly replied to her.
What was the use of that and yet I couldn’t escape?
"Karen.."
"I just need a nap, thank you," I cut her off in mid-sentence, then went back upstairs.
