Chapter 136 so strange
"This is the best l could do for you Raelynn", l turned my stare at Ashley. "Am honestly happy, thank you so much", I said on the verge of tears. She didn't only mail me my passport but also the moment l landed in USA l found everything prepared. She rented an apartment for me and put everything she knew l would need.
Throughout the whole time, I was dumbfounded as l stared at everything in the apartment. It had everything l needed and l was now ready to start again my life. "First wait to have your revenge , l have a feeling that things will go bad as soon as Amanda notices that you back", She mumbled. "Yeah am gonna first gather myself", l retorted before plopping down on the sofa.
"Let me leave right now, l have to keep an eye on Amanda", She said and l nodded my head in understanding. She told me that she deceived Amanda a lot in order to go in the storage room and get my passport. Left alone l walked to the kitchen and made myself noodles then organized everything that I needed.
However just as I was preparing myself coffee, l suddenly noticed a black van next to my apartment that wasn't there before. My brows furrowed up at that but I ignored it then went on with my house chores. I drank my coffee, had my lunch then slept. I had nothing to do other than sleeping. When I looked again, the van was still around and the windows were now rolled. From the window l saw the man turn and look at my house. They probably knew of my arrival the moment the plane landed from Kyrgyzstan.
Whoever the people in the black van were, my heart didn't like them. I knew it that l locked all the windows and doors but I went out again to check whether I had closed them. I was scared to leave my room now. Someone obviously knew it that l was back in the country and he or she was here for me..

It was almost two in the afternoon when the doorbell suddenly went off in a span 2 of seconds.
With the black van still around, I was afraid to even look through the peephole. I have been holed up in this apartment like for three days. I was afraid to leave the house thinking that I might be pulled into the van and be kidnapped again. I would rather take my chances of starvation in the house rather than being kidnapped again.
Noticing that it was Ashley, l opened it then let her enter inside. "I didn't want to come and disturb you but then am scared, Amanda is acting different towards me", Those were the words that she blurred out the moment she entered inside. "What do you mean?", Anger instantly flowed down my body at that. For the last three days, l lived in this house without any thought about Amanda. Though l wanted to have my revenge, l decided to first play it cool. She had everything and yet currently l had nothing to fight against her.
"She is now acting strange towards me"
"Ever since her doctor told her that she has gonorrhea, she is angry at everyone", She went on with talking. Hearing her last words, l inwardly felt happy.
"Karma is a bitch, she has got....", I instantly trailed off when I realized that the van was still parked in the front closely watching Ashley's interaction with me.
"Raelynn l have a feeling that something bad might happen, be careful, don't walk out of this apartment", She said with panic in her voice.
"Ashley am afraid", l admitted as much as I didn't want to show my weakness.
"No don't, let me go again and keep an eye on this bitch", She said quickly and after giving me a tight hug, she ran out of the house.

I have been stalking the black van as much as it has been stalking me. The male in the can stayed there almost all of the day , rarely leaving his post to the front of my apartment. Someone always brings him food and takes away his trash. Sometimes they did swap positions with another man.
I don't know what they are upto but per now it was seriously driving me nuts from being holed in the room. It was now turning into a week. I wanted to progress and get at least a job but it was all impossible. I was literally a sitting duck waiting to be plucked and cook. Nothing had changed, my life was a mess , being locked up in the room was what l was fated to be.
The knocking on the door as the sun set through the window over the sink startled me. After pondering about the black van, it really seemed strange. I wasn't even ten days in the house and yet there was someone knocking on my door. Perhaps l was simply paranoid but there was a twist in my stomach that wouldn't untangle.
"It is maybe Ashley, perhaps Ashley", Muttering under my breath, l attempted to reassure myself. The slow steady knocking continued and l took a deep breath. "It's Ashley", My mind kept telling me but something happened seriously wrong. Despite the tremor in my hand, l took a step towards the hallway leading to the front door.
My breath stuck in my throat and l could have sworn that the hallway looked darker at this moment. It was like the world was narrowing down at me and warning me not to go in that direction. After a brief moment the knocking picked up again, stronger this time. "Coming", l called shaking my head to clear the odd Fogg setting in my mind.
"It might be Ashley", l mentally repeated. Through the foggy glass oval on the thick door, l couldn't see anyone. There was darkness there and nothing more. Only feint traces of sunlight illuminated the hallway. I stopped for a moment wondering if whoever sho had been knocking gave up.
A flicker of shadow across the glass and three more solid knocks all of the sudden jump started my heart into an overdrive. I swallowed hard and pushed my legs to carry me towards the door. All l could focus on was the sight of my hand reaching for the door as the silhouette outside remained unmoving on the porch.
Once the door clicked and swung open , l released a breath that l didn't realize l was holding. A red haired , potable sized girl in sun glasses immediately took in my appearance. "Are you the new neighbor?", She asked. My mouth opened up but l didn't respond sooner. Ignoring strangers was part of my life and I no longer needed friends ever since Amanda betrayed me.
Something was really strange on her.
