Chapter 126 feel stronger
Afterwards we lay bounds together in each other's arms. Idris idly played with my hair and watched as the light outside began to fade away. Everything was cool and I didn't want this moment to end, the only bad thing was that I was now worn out and I needed to rest. As I was healing Idris, it felt like I was giving out my life to him.
"I need to leave soon, I have some things to deal with." Just as we were still cuddling, I heard Idris speak out.
"Don't you need to rest? You're still bruised," I worried over him as my fingers lightly skimmed the dark area on his stomach.
"You’re an amazing woman," he kissed my temple.
"I'm not. You also stood up for me over the Alphas at last time's dinner." I wish I could hide the blush on my cheeks as his eyes gazed at me. It was as if everything I was saying was amazing him.
"You should rest some more. I'm gonna have Raelynn or Dr Tracy come and visit you," he began to stand up from the bed and looked for something to wear.
Hearing him talk about Dr Tracy, I felt like asking him some questions but I held myself back.
"Visit me here?" As soon as his words sunk in my head, I looked around to emphasize that I was naked in his bed.
He surprisingly chuckled and nodded his head. "I have to organize everything Brian has ruined then meet some Alphas so that we prepare for the solstice," he explained.
"Oh, I get you," I pulled the blanket up my chest as I sat up and watched him leave.
"You can go and meet Raelynn in the kitchen if you don't want her to come over and see you," he added, and after giving him a nod, he left.
As soon as he left, I quickly rushed to the bathroom. I didn't want Raelynn and Dr Tracy to find me naked in the Alpha's bed.
Just as I was done dressing up, I heard a tentative knock on the door. I quickly finished tying up my wild mass of blonde hair and opened up the door. A relieved smile formed on my face when I noticed that it was Raelynn. She was standing there with a tray of something that smelled heavenly.
"I was summoned to check on my favorite patient," she set down what looked like vegetable stew and a decanter of wine.
"Hopefully I'm your only patient. Dr Tracy is always too busy to focus on me," I retorted.
"That you are and I will care for you," she laughed. "How are you feeling?" She began pouring wine into the glass while I got to work on inhaling the stew.
"I'm tired, but I feel alright," I accepted the sweet wine eagerly and devoured everything before me. Sleeping for days after healing Idris was hard work.
"I feel like I need to thank you," Raelynn spoke and I looked up at her.
"Whatever for?" My face scrunched up. I already knew her—she was so talkative.
"You saved my brother. I honestly didn’t think that you would do it after everything he had done to you," her words made me recall the last time she saw me naked in the bathroom, then saw the welts on my ass cheeks.
"You're a human. You could have run away and left, but you surprised me. You were ready to give out your life for him," she went on.
"I didn’t know whether I had that power to heal. I still can’t believe it," I shrugged my shoulders before peering into the dredges of dark wine at the bottom of my glass.
"You have those powers because you’re the chosen Luna," she started, and I knew where this topic was going. She was going to bring up the breeder stuff.
"You have the power of light, so once you feel drained out or weak, just go and rest under the sunshine. You will glow," she murmured. I twiddled my fingers around the stem of the glass as I let her words sink in my mind.
"Every pack member knows that you're the chosen Luna. The only thing that is now left is to be mated and pupped," my jaw instantly dropped at her words.
"I knew it in my heart that you were going to talk about pups again," I smiled before placing the glass down.
"Yeah, it's always in my mind. All I want is to carry your baby, care about her, watch her grow, then..."
"Raelynn, I want to have a nap," I cut her short mid-sentence.
"Okay darling," she chuckled before she collected everything and walked out of the room. As soon as she left, I released a sigh of relief then rested my head on the pillow. She was honestly so talkative.

I woke up in the morning sore but satisfied beyond comprehension. Idris placed a tender kiss on my forehead as he left to meet with the advisors again just as the sun was rising. Many things needed to be organized and he was meeting different people.
A while after he left, I opened up the curtains and walked out to his balcony. This is where I escaped last time, but this time I wasn't ready to do it. Guards weren't around on this side.
I didn’t know what the hell was happening to me, but I honestly needed sunlight right now. Noticing that I was alone with no one around, I untied the pink robe then turned my head to the blazing sunlight while settling myself into the cushioned seat.
Raelynn’s words were true, because with each passing moment, I felt my soul and mind calm a fraction and the frantic thoughts in my mind slowed their racing.
I felt stronger and surer of myself as power flowed down through me. My worries began to slowly melt away too.
"I wonder how long Idris will stay with his advisors," I spoke more to myself as I swirled the strand of my hair behind my ear.
"Not long," that deep voice coming out of nowhere made me quickly jump from the chair.
