Chapter 34: Thirty Four

Dionne is happy with Lennox's generosity. So he can save money to build their house in the province. It was three months ago that they lived with Lennox so far the young man has treated them okay so he has no problem he is ashamed because he will give her every salary if he thinks carefully about her as his wife but she can't have -assume. Her heart knows that it is not difficult to love the man but she wanted to guard herself in case he falls but apart from the friendship between the two of them, she doesn't feel anything more, she will be hurt more if that happens. And her baby Denise has gained weight and her beauty is increasing every day. Ayesha was his guest that same day, she had come back from vacation and they hadn't seen each other for three months, but she looked so beautiful, she cut her hair and added color to it, adding to her beauty. He brought a lot of greetings to him, especially to Baby Denise. He hasn't told Ayesha that he and Lennox live together in the same house because she might still sulk with him. When the two of them faced each other in the living room, he gave her an evil look.

"Are we friends? Why didn't you tell me that you and Lennox were here together?" Ayesha said sullenly.

Dionne was surprised because her friend knew about them living here.

"Why do you know, Ayesha?" Dionne asked.

"Lennox texted me that we might be worried, he said that you live at his house that's why I'm here to visit you. But I understood you. I'm happy because you found someone else to lean on besides Kiley and me," Ayesha said happily.

"I'm sorry," Dionne said.

"It's okay. I can't wait for you because I might have much to say. I'm still thrilled with you two," said his friend with a smile.

So they thought of cooking delicious dishes and Ayesha took care of her baby Denise. It's fun because it's a lot to welcome him with new clothes, sandals, and shoes For Baby Denise, her son is just more than a lot.

They talked a lot and then in the afternoon Ayesha said goodbye to go home and rest. She said they will come out next time when he has rested from the flight. While Lennox's shift will be night from now on. That's why he hasn't been home, he hasn't been able to say goodbye to Dionne so she might be surprised that he didn't come home earlier. The door to his office opened and Sahara slowly entered with a disposable Tupperware.

"Eat first. The food I bought outside was too much. I found out that you are on night shift today," he said to her smiling.

"Thank you very much," he said and went back to work.

Lennox thought that Sahara had left, but she hasn't. She sat on the sofa near the door and stared at him.

"Was your wife the one who gave birth here? But others said she was just your friend. But when I saw the sweetness of the two of you, I almost believed," Sahara smiled,

Lennox frowned, he didn't care what his relationship with Dionne would be. And he doesn't want to be friends with this girl because she needs something different from him. The way Sahara stares at him he knows something is different.

"I'm too much of a private person, Sahara. That's why I won't talk about the state of my love life and what you see as that. I don't need to explain my side," Lennox answered.

So Sahara's smile immediately changed to him. He didn't seem to like her answer. He has no plans to tell everyone at the hospital about his personal life because he doesn't want them to interfere. While Dionne wondered why Lennox still hadn't come home at night, she thought of going to see him. He finished feeding his baby milk so he dressed him and made him wear a thick jacket and socks and thick pajamas and he even put on a bonnet so he wouldn't get wet. It happened that when they left the house, a taxi stopped immediately so he got in and took them to the hospital. He also brought a new dress and pants for Lennox and a brief. Then she also cooked him a delicious meal. She thought that maybe his duty was at night. She laughed when she thought that they had been together for several months but she didn't know Lennox's phone number.

When they arrived at the hospital, she immediately got off and paid. She carries a lot. Her mother's duty is really where overflowing, she wasn’t the same woman whose only makeup was inside her bag right now there are many baby things. The nurses she passed were smiling but not the woman he met today. The woman raised her eyebrows but she is not the type of person who is afraid of professional people who have bad manners.

She had noticed for a long time that it was as if the woman was angry when she looked at her. so she didn't do anything wrong to her and they didn't know each other personally. They are both women so she knows why she hates her.

"Do you have a problem with me? Why are you raising your eyebrows at me? Is someone like me not allowed to enter the hospital where you work or do you just have a personal grudge against me?" Dionne asked with raised eyebrows.

The woman who annoyed her laughed.

"I'm not insecure about you because you didn't care about anything I've been through in life. Besides, you're not pretty either," answered the woman.

Dionne grinned.

"I know, but why does your blood seem warm to me? Is it because you like Lennox?" Dionne asked causing the woman to swallow and be stunned.

"You are imagining things," said the woman defensively.

"May the best woman win, Doctor. If you win, I will leave her to you," Dionne said with a smile.

When the woman was walking high and bumped into her, it's a good thing she didn't fall, her baby Denise would have fallen, and her child would have been hurt.

Shaking her head, he walked towards Lennox's office. He knocked a few times and it was opened immediately.

"What are you doing here, Dionne?! It's a surprise visit," Lennox said smiling, obviously happy with their arrival.

Lennox took Baby Denise with her so she had a chance to place her carrier on the empty sofa.

"I was surprised because you didn't come home and it was late. So I thought you might be on night shift today and I thought I'd bring you new clothes and I cooked food for you," he answered and removed the Tupperware with only food in the plastic bag that he put so that Lennox could eat.

"Thank you. I wish you wouldn't have bothered because the weather is cold, our baby Denise will be cold," Lennox said smiling and kissing the baby.

"It's okay. You saw how it looks with all the clothes on," Dionne replied with a smile.

She laughed when she saw Lennox dance with Denise, how handsome this man danced.
