Chapter 54: Husband’s betrayal

How will he explain it to her? This day scared him the most in the last two months, he cannot lose her, he will die but what he did after that does he even deserve her.

She loved him so much and what he did, he slept with Amaya. Even if he doesn't deserve her but he still wants her, and for that he if he needs to kill Amaya and her baby he will not hesitate to do that.

He got Autumn back after waiting for all his past life and now when he got her, he will not let her leave him in any condition.

He will do anything for her forgiveness, but he will never let her leave him. She is his oxygen and how can a person live without oxygen.

Soon he reached home, he ran inside and started shouting Autumn's name, "Baby, Baby where are you?, Baby I can explain you everything please answer me, please come in front of me"

But he didn't get any response, he was checking every room but there was no sign of Autumn, when he was about to go to the garden Elizabeth said sternly, "She is not at home"

Edward turned and saw hatred in Elizabeth's eyes, which never happened before. He walked to her and asked in a cracking voice, "Where is she?"

Elizabeth was trying to control her hatred towards him, she told him everything that happened a couple of hours before.

Edward felt like his heart stopped beating; he turned and left fuming in anger.

He ordered Zack to drive to Old Mansion, he was continuously trying to call Autumn but she was not picking up her call. He ordered Zack to start a search operation for Autumn.

Sometime later, they reached the old mansion, he rushed out of the car and entered the living room angrily. Amaya was very happy seeing him. She thought he came to meet her, so she ran and hugged him.

Edward jerked her hard, she fell on the ground and he shouted, "Mom, come out" this was the first time he walked talking to his mom in this tone.

Mrs. King came out running from her meditation room she saw Amaya slowly get up from the floor she ran towards her said to Edward angrily, "What the hell Eddy, she is carrying your baby"

Edward said gritting his teeth, "Fuck with this peace of shit, I want to know who gave you the rights to slap my wife"

Mrs. King was shocked to see Edward's side, he never behaved like this with her in the past, she said angrily, "How can you talk to your mother like this for that girl?"

Edward replied calmly suppressing his anger, "Mom, she is not some random girl she is my wife"

"So what even if she is your wife, she shouldn't have disrespected me, how can she talk about my husband cheating on me?" Mrs. King retorted.

Edward scoffed and said, "You were not able to hear what she said, she was just giving an assumption and you lost your control, have you thought what she is going through"

"You don't want to imagine about your husband's betrayal and you expect her to accept her husband betrayal like nothing happened"

"How can you be so mean Mom, instead of scolding your son, you expect your daughter-in-law to accept your son's betrayal like nothing happened, I am really ashamed of you Mom"

Saying that he left from there Mr. King was standing there without reacting anything, after some time when she turned she found Mr. King standing there.

He heard everything, he just said, "I am disappointed in you" saying that he went back to his bedroom.

Mrs. King had not told anything to Mr. King till now but now he knows everything and he was upset with her.

She doesn't understand what her mistake is, she just wants to save her first grandchild.

Edward left the old mansion angrily, he could never imagine his mom would do such things to his Autumn, he promised her to protect, to stay loyal to her but now he, himself was breaking all his promises.

He should have listened to Autumn about Amaya, he never thought Amaya would do this to him, he still remembers when he woke up the next day and found her sleeping naked next to him, he felt like his world shattered.

The first thing that came to his mind was how will he face his wife, and before he could say anything Amaya's next words shocked him to the core, she said holding the bed sheet, "Brother don't think anything just know that I love you, and I love you more than anything"

He was beyond shocked. He thought she would cry but she confessed to him, did she forget what relationship they have, did she forget he is already married.

Did she ever think about what will happen if Autumn knows about it, what his parents would think about it?

He slapped her and said, "Are you out of your mind Amaya, fucking I am your brother, how can you say such things, you know my marriage will break, you know how much I love my Autumn"

He felt like pulling his hair, his mind was blank, she said slowly, "brother I know how much you love her and believe me I will never tell her about this I promise you" saying that she left his room crying.

He didn't know whether to be happy or sad about it, because he could not hide it from Autumn.

The chain of his thoughts broke when his car came to a halt at his mansion, he rushed out hoping to find Autumn waiting for him.

He thought that once he found her he would ask for her forgiveness and will do anything to make her forgive him.

He entered the living room with lots of hope but all his hopes shattered down when his people informed him that they were unable to find her.
