542- Under the Hunter's Golden Gaze
POV Thalyndra Moonclaw:
The pain was visible on their faces. One by one, the young ones began to grunt, their voices becoming more guttural, mixed with the terrible sounds of bones breaking and reorganizing. Their bodies bent in impossible ways, the skin stretching and the outline of muscles distorting as the wolves began to emerge from within their human forms.
Anton stood motionless beside me, his eyes shining with the same strength that emanated from Edric.
The air seemed full of electricity, the shadows created by the fire dancing on their mutating forms. One of them fell to his knees, his face elongating, his teeth growing inside his mouth as he let out a strangled howl of pain. His skin cracked as fur began to emerge, first in sparse tufts, then covering him completely.
"Let the wolf take control," Edric continued the instruction, his voice low, almost gentle now. "This is your true form. Feel it, accept it."
Every part of the transformation was agonizing. The sound of bones cracking filled the night, followed by guttural screams and the growing growls of the emerging wolves. Their vertebral columns seemed to elongate, projecting as flesh pulsed and bodies increased in size. Their ribs cracked, expanding, and the pain in each of their eyes was unmistakable.
The light-eyed boy, the first to start, finished his transformation. He stood on all fours, panting, his body still adjusting to the new form. His white fur gleamed under the moonlight, and the howl that escaped his throat was primal, charged with newfound power. He staggered as if needing to get used to the new balance, but then something changed. His eyes fixed on Edric, and the alpha nodded. The wolf inside the boy had awakened.
The others began to follow. One after another, the screams of pain subsided, giving way to low, wild growls. The clearing, once full of humans, was now filled with huge, powerful wolves, panting amidst the smoke of the bonfires.
"You did it," Edric said, his voice laden with pride. "Now, feel the strength of the moon. You are Eldoria, and today, you have become true wolves."
The young wolves, still panting and uncertain in their new forms, raised their snouts to the moon and, one by one, began to howl. The sound echoed through the trees, reverberating through the forest like an ancestral call, carrying with it the power of transformation. It was a symphony of freedom and strength, of pain and rebirth.
I felt something burning on my skin, crackling like fire running through my veins.
"Go, have fun, run through the forest," Edric ordered, gesturing to them.
The wolves followed the alpha's command, running freely, moving away from us.
I swallowed to moisten my throat, which had become immensely dry. I looked at Anton, who stared at me with vibrating eyes, lust coursing through them.
My panties were soaked, my body heated. I gasped, breathing hard.
Myrion placed the bottle on a fallen log and rubbed his palms together.
"Let's go to the forest, it's time to have fun," he announced, smiling.
Anton tilted his head, calling me. We followed him in silence. My legs were heavy, unsteady. The denser trees, with their high canopies, cast shadows, throwing us into darkness.
Myrion hummed a song softly.
Distracted, I bumped into someone, being held by strong arms. I looked ahead, seeing the boy who had stumbled into me, he seemed as affected by that energy as I was.
A growl resounded, loud and violent as a promise of certain death. In one moment, he was holding me, and in the next, his legs were swinging in the air, being lifted by the neck.
"Anton, what the hell are you doing?" I hissed. Myrion let out a laugh.
"Oh, I love the mated ones and how they're taken over by wild instincts during Lupercalia," he sang, finding the situation amusing.
I approached Anton and placed my hand on his arm, forcing him to look at me.
"He touched you," he growled, his voice supernatural, his eyes no longer blue.
"It wasn't on purpose, it's dark and we're all unsteady." Myrion approached and looked the boy up and down.
"You can kill him, he's not needed." I glared at him.
"Have you gone crazy? Or did you drink too much of that whiskey?"
"I am in full possession of my mental faculties."
"Doesn't seem like it," I protested, pulling Anton's arm. "Let him go right now. You can't kill everyone who touches me."
"I certainly can." I let out a low hiss.
"Fine, I know you can. I'm not talking about strength, but about common sense. If he had offended me and touched me disrespectfully, I wouldn't argue about his death, but that's not the case."
He wasn't fully in control; arguing about anything that put his strength into question would lead to the boy's death without me even being able to do anything. And Myrion wouldn't help me, at most he would bury the body.
Slowly, Anton opened one finger at a time. The boy fell to his knees on the ground and brought his hand to his neck, pulling in air forcefully.
"Thank you," I thanked, letting out a relieved sigh. Myrion made a noise in his throat, bored.
"I wanted to see blood, but since I didn't get that, I'll go have fun with some tasty pussies. That's what's left for me tonight."
"You really are a depraved one," I mocked.
"You'll get used to it." He gave a quick, suggestive wink. "We still have many centuries of coexistence ahead."
Anton turned to me, tilting his head slightly to the side. He didn't look human or natural at all. His eyes, one golden and one emerald green, stared at me. He smiled, showing his long, sharp fangs.
"Run, Little Beast," he threatened in a whisper, widening his smile even more. "As fast as you can, as far as you can."
I shuddered, my body heating up more and more, and then I realized that, without the death he had promised, he had turned me into his prey and would punish me for it.
Instead of being afraid, I became even more excited.
"Do you think you can catch me, alpha?"
My she-wolf purred, provoking him. He growled in warning.
And then, I started running with my heart about to leap out of my mouth and my pussy soaked. Even though I was running away, I couldn't wait to be devoured by him.
