I Humbled Fanny Luis

My band of security alighted and scuttled to my Porsche car to heave on it and once they opened the door, they bowed and, led me to the scene which Fanny Luis had created.

Fanny Luis had knelt down in the middle of the road, molded his arms and bowed his head. He was all tears and his face had gone crimson which made me realize he had been weeping prior to this time.

“What arrant nonsense is this, Fanny Luis?” I yelled at him once I took off my sunshades, “Have you gone naught or something? Do you realize who I am?” I stroked my ponytail hair and when I glanced around, I beheld a band of paparazzi taking photo shots of the dramatic scene.

When I thought Fanny Luis was done weeping and kneeling, he prostrated and stretched on the road and about nearing my elegantly sheen shoes, I pulled back my legs and shot my frown at his teary face.

“Please the world richest man, indeed you have humbled me,” he finally spoke and remained bowed, “May I find favor before you. May your wrath not be unleashed on my household anymore? I know we did you wrong. I know my family hurt you so much. I understand your pain and hurt. Please the world richest man. I have come to plead that you retrieve your wrath and forgive our flaws…”

I snarled at him and interposed the asshole, “Listen up Fanny Luis if the reason you are giving me all this sermon is for me to award you the contract and unseal your bankruptcy company then I am sorry to disappoint you. Get your ass out of my way else I would have my security do it for me.”

Fanny Luis sobbed like a kid that was denied some cookies. He dared to touch my shoes yet again and I kicked off his hands.

“The next time you touch my shoes with those filthy hands, I will tell you how much it is worth and you will replace it. I don’t bloody care whether you are broke or not!” I stamped my feet on the ground and he got startled each time I did.

I hissed and turned around to return to my Porsche when he sounded audibly, “Lisa bake is dying.” I swirled around and gave him the and-so-fucking-what looks. But he breathed uneasily and dared to speak with the little breath he could foster, “The doctor says she is suffering from blood cancer. I am so broke now, even the two hundred thousand dollars I deposited at the hospital was proceeds from the cars I sold…” his voice choked as he sobbed briefly and grinned to pick on his words again. But stuttering and weeping couldn’t let him speak yet again.

“Speak!”I beamed, “If you think I have got time to waste like your jobless self then you have to rethink,” I cast a glance at my diamond wrist watch and turned around to walk away…

That was when he spoke yet further, “the doctor us requesting for more money which I don’t have. Half a million dollars is needed to save the life of Lisa Bake from the gruesome hands of cancer. The doctor complains she consumes more artificial oxygen than an average human being and more money is needed to keep her going else we will lose her…”

I raised a think brow at his teary face and yelled at him, “Oh I see, more money you said. Why don’t you go ahead and give the doctor more money to save the life of that toxic old witch, uh? Are you not Fanny Luis the richest mogul in Rio Hondo anymore? What are you waiting for? Go ahead and pay it.”

Fanny shook his head in the negative and raised his teary face to the sky, “I swear by my life, the world richest man. I am no longer the mogul you used to know after you denied me the contract and sealed up the Fanny Group. Right now half a million dollars is too much for me to pay.”

I chuckled mockingly and dimmed my eyes at Fanny Luis. But there was no stopping him. He kept waling and begging for my help.

“Please the world richest man, recall you used to be my son-in-law. Half a million dollars is s chicken feed to you. I beg of you. We can’t have a Croesus like you and die in poverty. Lisa Bake is…”

I interrupted him with a yell and he kept shut and trembled repeatedly, “You keep shut, dope! Can you listen to yourself? I used to be your son-in-law, what about now? Have you forgotten you told me I was poverty-stricken and I wasn’t good for Melissa? Have you forgotten you told me your daughter wasn’t meant for a poor delivery boy like me and I won’t be able to take care of her with the peanuts I earn?”

I leaned towards Fanny Luis, grabbed his jaw and spoke into his sorry face, “Have you forgotten how you ordered your security to keep me aside and never to let me come into your exquisite sitting room because you don’t want me to contaminate your villa with my poverty? Have you forgotten what you and Lisa Bake told me before I went to prison? You and Lisa called me criminal son-in-law and regretted giving your daughter to a poverty stricken criminal son-in-law. You believed Morgan Harris’s allegation hook line and sinker.”

I stamped my feet on the ground and felt Fanny shake in fear. “I would never forget your last words before I went into jail. You told me I was going to die in jail so that you could betroth Melissa to a money bag that befits her status! I hate you Fanny Luis. I hate you to the alphabet in your name. As for Lisa Bake go and dig her grave because she is going to die!” I barked.

Quickly I paced to my convoy, hopped into the Ferrari and zoomed off, leaving Fanny wailing at the tops of his voice.
