Chapter 93 Her
THIRD PERSON'S POV
The pack members stood, wounded, bleeding, but with an intensity and a determination to fight until the end in their eyes.
If this were their end, they would accept it with open hands. The men stood before the female soldiers to protect them from the lecherous eyes and hands of the rogues.
However, the female soldiers shook their heads at them.
“When it comes to a woman's dignity, she can fight the gods to save herself. We don't want your protection. We want your support. If we die today, at least we die protecting ourselves. We won't let them reach our children. They don't deserve this,” Tiara said with tears rolling down her cheeks as she looked at the rogues in disgust.
She clenched her teeth before wiping the blood from the side of her face and fisting her hands, ready to fight anyone who would approach them.
They moved towards the entrance meticulously, where Ericson was standing, his body swaying as he was fighting hard against his own body to stop himself from losing consciousness.
Felicia stood from the ground with Xavier's help and wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth.
She looked at the pack members with anger.
“You wrecked people still think you can defeat me?” She asked with a smirk.
She tied her hair into a ponytail before chuckling.
“I haven't been training for nothing. Even I would see who can stand against me. I will kill all of you one by one. But before that, I'll kill your alphas who give you strength,” Felicia licked her bottom lip.
“And you know what? Once I am done with that, I'll pick those kids in the dungeons one by one before having them mutilated,” Felicia said.
She nodded at Xavier, who smirked before moving his hand through his hair, and then he cracked the bones in his neck.
He grabbed the wooden stick from the ground and rushed to where Ericson was standing, since he was the easiest to take down at the moment.
Dylan saw where Xavier was aiming and didn't waste a second in rushing to his brother's side.
Before Xavier's stick could even touch Ericson, he kicked the man as hard as he could.
Xavier's body flew away, and Felicia turned to Dylan with murderous eyes.
“You wretched bastard!” Felicia threw the machete in the air before grabbing its handle, ready to kill Dylan.
She ran towards Dylan at full speed.
She nodded at a few rogues to hold the alpha just in case.
Ericson widened his eyes when he saw what was happening.
Before Felicia could plunge the machete deep into Dylan's chest, Ericson stepped before Dylan, making everyone gasp.
Dylan and Ericson had closed their eyes, ready for the pain. However, the pain they had expected never came.
“What the—” Felicia said out loud.
The alphas opened their eyes and looked at Felicia, whose hand holding the machete was raised, and, from what it looked like, she was struggling to bring it down.
What was happening? Everyone had the same thought before they finally felt it.
The wind was picking up, almost making it stormy.
Dylan and Ericson looked behind Felicia, where someone seemed to be walking towards them, dressed in a black cloak.
Because of the wind, it was hard to see who it was until she spoke.
“Now that's something I didn't expect to see,” Angelica's cold voice echoed, and everyone's eyes widened.
Dylan shook his head.
This was wrong. Remembering what kind of trouble they were in, the last thing he wanted was for Angelica to get hurt.
He was about to open his mouth to tell Angelica to run far away when the storm that had arrived out of nowhere started to clear, and they could see her clearly.
To say they were surprised would be an understatement.
“Drop the machete, Felicia. I mean, you can choose to continue with your actions if you can, but if you don't listen to me, your mate will die,” Angelica said.
Felicia turned around to face Angelica, her pupils dilating when she saw Angelica holding a dagger to Xavier's throat.
“No,” Felicia muttered before shaking her head.
“You can't do this,” Felicia shouted.
Angelica chuckled.
“Oh, for heaven's sake, you have absolutely no idea what I can do. If you hadn't been in such a hurry to manipulate the alphas, maybe you would've planned a bit better. But it's okay. You can see my potential now,” Angelica said, and then, without a warning, she sliced Xavier's throat right before everyone's eyes.
If what she did shocked everyone, what she did next was incomprehensible to everyone.
Angelica brought the dagger close to her mouth before she licked Xavier's blood and chuckled darkly.
“You want to enjoy being the new Alpha, no? Bad for you, I started hating this pack and the alpha from the moment I was humiliated.” Angelica's words made Dylan and Ericson bow their heads in shame.
“And since you are the alpha, bear the consequences.” Angelica moved with the speed of the wind, and in a second, her hand wrapped around Felicia's throat as she pushed the girl against the tree.
“Since you didn't know who I was, let me give you a proper introduction. Hello, Felicia, I am Angelica Black Pearl, the new leader of the Black Coven. And for the crime you committed against me, I punish you with death,” Angelica said before she looked straight into Ericson's eyes.
Her lips lifted into an evil smirk before she twisted Felicia's head to the side, enough to put pressure but not kill her. She didn't make it quickly.
She wanted it to hurt her slowly.
Felicia struggled hard against Angelica's hold, wanting to free herself. But it was almost as if a larger force was holding her back; she couldn't even move, let alone push Angelica away.
“Say goodbye to your brothers, Felicia,” Angelica said before she twisted her head with a jerk.
Felicia's body stopped struggling in a second, and Angelica let the lifeless body drop to the ground.
But she wasn't done.
She raised her hand in the air.
“Ask for mercy!” As soon as she said those words, seven water tornadoes started forming around the entire clearing.
The tornadoes started small but grew at a speed beyond terrifying.
“Angel—” Dylan started, afraid for his pack members when Angelica raised her hand.
The man was pushed back so hard that his body hit the back of the tree, making him fall on the ground with a thump.
“You lost the right to call me by my name, Alpha Dylan,” Angelica said before she looked straight at Ericson.
She walked to him in small strides. Without saying anything, she raised her hand and then slapped the man hard across his face.
Ericson, already weak from the wounds and loss of blood, stumbled back and was about to fall, accepting whatever his mate had to offer because that was what he deserved.
The man fell onto his knees, and the girl couldn't help but scoff.
She could see he was barely keeping his consciousness, and if he closed his eyes, he might not open them again, ever.
Angelica held his collar and forced him to stand straight. She slapped him again.
Dylan's lips trembled. He knew that their mate was angry, but he still couldn't allow her to kill his brother.
If he didn't get the treatment, he would definitely die because of the loss of blood.
“Please—” Dylan started, but stopped when he saw what she did next.
Angelica sliced her palm and placed her hand on Ericson's mouth, forcing him to drink her blood.
The tornadoes, which had been growing bigger, started closing in on the crowd, and surprisingly, it was only taking the rogues while they moved around the pack members skillfully.
The rogues who were being swallowed by the seven tornadoes were being thrown out only after their blood was being sucked out to the very last drop.
Dylan saw all of this happening and couldn't help but get on his knees and place his head on the ground before Angelica.
“I am sorry, Angel. I vow my loyalty to you for the rest of my life. We know you are angry with us and you might not even want us back in your lives, but I would still like to show you my gratitude for saving the pack today,” Dylan said.
All the pack members started to bow and copy their alpha’s actions one by one.
Angelica closed her eyes, keeping the pain in her heart hidden, before she pulled her hand away from Ericson's mouth when her powers told her it was more than enough to heal his wounds and for him to stay alive.
She didn't say anything to Dylan and just nodded at Alchemist, who raised his hand to prepare the detoxification water for her.
“Mercy has been granted,” She said, calming the tornadoes immediately.
“Not here. I won't give them the right to see me in any form. They don't deserve it,” Angelica's words were like daggers straight through their hearts as she stepped back.
Alchemist didn't waste a second in using his powers to teleport them away so he could help her detoxify as soon as possible.
Dylan looked up with wide eyes when he saw his mate vanishing.
“Angelica! Mi amor!” Dylan looked around helplessly.
It was shocking for the pack members. So many things happened one after the other that they didn't even know what was true or false.
“D-Dylan, stop her,” Ericson whispered before he stumbled back, and Dylan quickly helped his brother, taking him straight to the hospital.
