Chapter 21 Flirting

Chapter 21 Flirting
ANGELICA’S POV

"My work is being your secretary. I saved you guys because I considered you my friends. Even according to the company's protocols, if you think I crossed a line or my driving skills can be a problem to the company's future, I'll hand in my resignation letter," I said before turning around.

I was about to turn and leave when someone held my hand, and I clenched my fists.

"No one is asking you to hand in your resignation letter, Li. Ericson is just worried for you. I hope no one is troubling you. You learn these skills when you are racing or have been chased before," Dylan said, and I bit my lips, closing my eyes.

I appreciate that they care about me, but I wasn't ready for two hot-ass males to invade my privacy when I didn't even know what kind of feelings I had for them, apart from pure lust.

"Don't worry. There's nothing I would do or have done that would harm the company's reputation in any way," I said before turning to Dylan.

"And you shouldn't be moving so much," I looked into his eyes. He smiled before pulling me in for a hug. I raised my brows at him, my gaze moving to Ericson, sitting back on the couch with a cold look on his face.

He looked at me like one of those mafia bosses who have the infamous expression towards their woman -'No matter who you run to, you are going to return to me, in my arms,'

I averted my gaze from him before placing my hands around Dylan.

"Thanks for saving our lives today. You have no idea what you did for us," He said, and I nodded.

"If everything is sorted, I want to return to my room. I am tired and want to rest already," I said.

"Boys," Ericson said, and all those men who had arrived to tend to the two bosses left immediately.

"You can rest here,"

"Here, where?" I asked, confused.

"With us, on our bed, between us," Ericson smirked, and I waited for him to say he was joking, but when he didn't, I looked at Dylan, who smirked at me.

"If you like the proposal, I am up for it," He winked.

I looked at them blankly. I can't believe these are the same guys who were being chased by those heavy wolves just an hour ago.

How can they joke like this? It hasn't even been a day. If it had been me, I would've -

Wait. Why would it have been me?

"What were you guys doing in the forest? The last time I checked, you were in the club with me, weren't you?" I asked, and Dylan looked at Ericson.

"After you humbly rejected our proposal, we left the club. Our car broke down in between, and that's when those wolves attacked us," He said, and my gaze shifted to Dylan's chest, who was wearing his shirt.

Don't wear it. Let it be like that. I said in my mind, and Dylan suddenly stopped, his gaze meeting mine, and I coughed to hide my embarrassment of getting caught in the act.

"Want to watch a movie?" Dylan asked me, and I shrugged.

"Can I at least wash up and come back?" I said, and they nodded.

I am sure the incident shook them, and they don't want to be alone. That's why they are so adamant about me being there. I hummed at myself before quickly taking a shower and eating some cereal.

"So, what movie are we—uh? " The rest of my sentence stopped in my throat when I noticed a very sexy Ericson standing near the window, dressed in nothing but a towel. His body was glistening with water beads, clearly indicating that he was taking a shower before attending the call.

"If you can't deal with it, let me know. But remember, if I came here, they wouldn't be the only people I would be dealing with. I want the entire report on what happened tonight and -" he paused, his hand clenching against the phone before he turned to me slowly, and I gulped.

I wasn't eavesdropping on the conversation, I swear. Your glistening body captivated my attention. I wanted to say something, but my sentence wasn't exactly worth saying out loud, so I looked away shyly, walking to the couch.

"Oh, you are already here. We are ordering some food because Ericson denied cooking tonight. What do you want to eat?" Dylan asked me.

"I actually...uhh... I ate some cereal. I can have anything vegetarian you are eating," I said, and he nodded.

"Noodles and pasta for you then," he whispered before stopping.

He walked to me with scrunched brows, and I bit my lips in anticipation when he stepped too close. He was invading my boundaries, and did I mind it? Of course not.

"I love the smell of your scent. It gives you a unique vibe," he said, bent to my neck and taking a strong whiff. His nearing lips made me curl my toe in anticipation.

His lips didn't touch my skin, but it still felt intimate. The way he was moving his nose up and down my neck and shoulder and hair, even without touching, was giving me some weird feelings in my abdomen.

Fck that. Who was I kidding? These were all too familiar feelings of arousal.

I felt him sniffing the air again, and he pulled away before looking into my eyes.

"Why don't you select the movie?" Dylan asked, his gaze moving to Ericson, and I noticed how he was smirking in triumph. Sometimes, it's hard to follow these brothers' talking language and expressions. They are always so secretive that I want to get into their heads and read whatever thoughts they have about me.

Times like these make me wonder how cool it would've been if I had mind-reading power.

I walked to the couch and sat with a plop before crossing my legs Indian style.

"How much did you hear?" Ericson walked up to me, and I looked up. Not really a good decision.

Not because I was scared of him, but because the sight was too good. I can't get this view out of my head anytime soon.

"The thing where you were threatening that you will deal with the people and want a report about tonight," I said, and he hummed.

"Umm. Don't you think you should get dressed?" I asked, and he smirked.

"Why? Is my body in only a towel giving you weird ideas," Ericson asked me cockily.

"That's not the case. I am getting ideas, but they are all normal. I promise," I looked back with the same expression, and he kept looking at me for a second before shaking his head and leaving.

I seriously think one of these days, I am going to get my ass kicked out of the office.
