Chapter 25 Twenty-Five
When Mr. Harrison shot the gun for the first time, the nanny was still there.
However, she must have used the chance when he was shooting continuously to run away.
And she also took the gold jewelry with her.
That woman has gotten herself into trouble.
Back at the headquarters, I received the autopsy result of Frederick’s death.
He wasn't only stabbed to death by his brother, but there were traces of cocaine in his bloodstream.
Was Frederick a drug addict at his age?
Or was it forced on him?
I went through the results over and over again to figure out how exactly the cocaine got into his system.
“We’ve researched Frederick, Detective Lizzy.”
An officer handed me a file.
“Even at his age, he had a charitable foundation where he helped the less privileged, but,”
He sighed.
I went through the file and Frederick was indeed into drugs.
He wasn't only taking them, but that was his business too.
Wow!
A 15-year-old.
“He looked so innocent.”
The officer shook his head.
Whoa!
What a shocking revelation.
So, since Frederick was spending extravagantly, Harris thought their parents were the ones spending on Frederick.
At first, he mustn't have cared about the whole thing, but someone started whispering into his ears and pushed him to take action.
Nanny faith,
That woman is a devil in a human form.
“Find Nanny Faith, and arrest her!”
I ordered and the officers left.
As soon as they were gone, another officer came to the office.
“Here is the autopsy result of the Nanny, Detective Lizzy.”
I waved him off, and he dropped the result and left.
Poisoned to death.
Hmmm.
Poisoned?
So, Harris’s Nanny must have found out that Frederick was into drugs, and Nanny Faith was poisoning Harris’s mind.
Meanwhile, Nanny Faith started plotting a way to get rid of her after finding out she knew the truth.
So, she poisoned her before I could get to her so her secret wouldn't be revealed.
Nanny faith!
What a silent murderer.
“Send Harris to the investigation room asap!”
“Has your nanny ever communicated with you to stay away from Nanny Faith?”
Harris hissed.
“Speak, Harris. Your Nanny is dead.”
His eyes broadened in fright.
“My nanny is dead? How?”
“Nanny faith killed her.”
Harris broke down in tears.
“Oh my goodness! I can't believe Nanny Faith killed her.”
He wailed.
“Yes, she told me to be careful with Nanny Faith, but I got angry and sent her away!”
Hmmm.
“Do you know that your brother was into drugs?”
He froze for a few seconds, staring at me shockingly.
“Drugs?”
He repeated.
“Yes. Frederick’s business was buying and reselling drugs such as cocaine, marijuana, and a lot of them.
That was how he was getting all the money he spent lavishly,
Nanny Faith knew that, but she decided to cause jealousy between you guys, so she kept poisoning your mind.
She told you a lot of false things that your parents loved Frederick more than any of you.
She made you believe that all the things Frederick was bringing into the house, your Dad bought them for him.
And when she was successful in drawing your attention to herself, she ordered you to take him to the club and kill him. Correct?”
He screamed in frustration.
“Yes, she did!”
He screamed.
“I was a fool to have believed her!”
Phhhh.
“Now you see what she had made you do?”
“I should have listened to Nanny and run away from Nanny Faith when I still had the chance. Now I am doomed.”
“She is here.”
An officer announced from the door.
Good!
“Bring her in.”
She was brought in, holding the handbag closer to her chest.
Even though he was handcuffed, Harris pounced on her, kicking, beating, and tearing.
“You old witch!”
He screamed,
“You caused me to kill my brother, I will kill you too.”
Nanny Faith kept crying for help, but no one intervened.
She deserved what Harris was doing to her, fool.
Doesn't she have children of her own?
“Harris, that is enough.”
I intervened after a while.
Harris returned to the chair crying, while she remained on the floor, weeping.
“Now confess!”
I commanded, and she sat down on the floor.
“I was benefiting from Frederick’s wealth that was why I poisoned the Nanny to death. If anyone has found out, Frederick would blame me, and he would stop giving me the money he used to.
To avoid being caught, I started poisoning her two weeks before she left the house. It was a slow poison that kills a month after it is taken.”
She sobbed.
“Why did you poison Harris’s mind and make him massacre his brother?”
“Even though Frederick was spending extravagantly, Harris didn't mind. He loved his brother so much, and sometimes, spent on him.
But I was jealous of their closeness, I thought Frederick would stop being nice to me and spend on Harris instead,
So I started lying to Harris and showing him different things that Frederick bought, I told Harris it was their parents who bought them for Frederick.
At first, he didn't believe me.
However, I didn't give up.
And when I succeeded in poisoning his mind, I told him to kill Frederick so that I could run away with his gold and money.”
Gosh!
“I am sorry, Harris, I didn't know I would end up in prison with you.”
Hahahahaha
That was funny.
So if she knew she would end up in prison with him, she wouldn't have started it, right?
Hahahahahaha
“I hate you, Nanny Faith. And I swear, I would have killed you now if I had the chance. You are a devil!
And if I die, I will haunt you for the rest of your life!”
So sad.
“None of you will stay in this world.”
“What do you mean?”
Nanny Faith asked.
“You are a murderer too, and murderers die.”
She swung her hands over her head and screamed.
“No, I can't die!”
“You must die, witch. I am so excited right now!”
Harris laughed happily.
Oh, poor kid.
Well, he will be careful in his next life.
Oh, the recorder.
Frederick must have recorded an important thing in it.
“Bring me the recorder!”
I called out to the officer.
