Chapter 72 Untitled Chapter

Chapter 72 Untitled Chapter
Finally!

“Oh, okay,”

Matilda looked happier than I, but I don't blame her. Why shouldn't she be happy when she is going back to become the Beta?

“But you guys should tell me who is dying today. Are you up to something evil and stupid, Amelia?”

“Oh, come on, Mr. Wood! Why do you still think I am up to something? Just look at me. Do I look like I can even kill an insect?”

“You are a wolf, girl; you hunt for prey. And yes, you can kill dangerous animals too. You'd better get your head straight and discard any evil thoughts you have in your mind. The leader is dangerous, so is the security, and so are all the guests who would come to the town tomorrow.”

“We were talking about a movie,” Matilda chipped in. “The popular movie that was released this week—I am sure you have watched it too. Amelia started watching it today, and she is talking about the villain who will kill the next day.”

Surprisingly, Mr. Wood bought that.

“Oh, sorry, I suspect you. I hope you don't take it to heart and deprive me of our promise. When I slept yesterday, I dreamt I was banging you.”

Idiot! Go back to that dream and continue banging until you cum.

“Can we go now? The sun will soon move to the center of the universe.”

“Oh, yes, we can't keep the leader waiting. I am sure the guests are on their way now.”

Matilda walked us out of the shop, hugged me tightly, and before I entered the car, I whispered something into her ear. She smiled, patted my shoulder, and nodded her head.

“We will keep in touch.” I made the phone call signal to her, and the car drove us away.

The road to Casper’s house was scary, with long trees shooting to the sky and weird sounds that would make your body shiver in fear.

I wondered if that was the usual way to the house, or if they chose to take us through that route so we wouldn't know the easiest way to get to that house.

It was so confusing, and it made me wonder why his house was built outside the town, far away in the forest.

I kept giving Matilda the description of the places we passed by, chatting with her because she insisted she wanted to know my location.

When I asked her why she was interested, Matilda said she was only preparing and training herself as my future Beta.

That cracked me up, making all who were in the car look at me with a weird gaze.

Eventually, we arrived at the house three hours later. It was a huge house, a mansion with a magnificent gate built of gold. There was a huge black statue just like the mark on their bodies embedded on the gate.

They looked beautiful, yet scary because of that statue. And when the driver drove us inside the mansion, my jaw dropped.

The inside was just a replica of the Packhouse in Lunskys’ pack, except for the scary statue that stood in the middle of the house.

It has fairy wings, vampire fangs, a wolf head, and a dragon head, all joined together to form a statue. So that was what the gods gave them? And it shook when I unleashed my power? Wonderful!

Maybe the statue is the powerhouse of their dark magic; who knows?. And while I am here, I will look into it, and when I find out it is, then it is going down.

“Ladies, welcome to a house of no return,” the chauffeur said devilishly after opening the car door.

Uhn? A house of no return? Wait a second, no one gets to leave this place after being brought to the leader and his guest?

The other ladies started panicking, but I remained calm, knowing fully that I would get out of there alive and victorious.

“Thank you, chauffeur.” I smiled, getting out of the car.

“You look brave, lady. What is your name?”

“Oh, it is Amelia Kyle, a loyal member of this great sect.”

May the goddess forgive me for that nonsense I spewed.

“That is great. While you are here, I think you and I will make great acquaintances,” he winked.

“Oh, yes, Mr. Chauffeur, we will. But can you tell me what you meant by your first statement when you opened the car?”

He nodded his head, looked around, and signaled to me to follow him, which I did. We stepped away from the rest of the girls, and when we were a distance away from them, he paused.

“The ladies who are brought here to entertain the leader and his guests do not leave their side, even though they are discussing a sensitive thing. And because they hear all the things being discussed among the leaders, they are made permanent slaves in this mansion.”

Oh, that is it? But that is great for me. I will be able to hear what nonsense they are planning before I get them killed.

“It makes sense, and you know what? I think I support them in that. If they let us go, then we will go back inside the town and start whispering it to each other. And do you know what will happen? The words will spread out, and our enemies will hear it.”

“Wow! Amelia, you are so smart. I am sure the leader will want to make you his second mate when he finds out how smart you are.”

Pfft. Over my dead body!

“Oh, really? Then I'd better get into that.”

He chuckled, and we returned to where the ladies were standing, whispering to each other.

“They are gossiping about you, Amelia; they think you and the chauffeur know each other.” Amy chuckled.

Girls and gossip. Well, they can continue. After all, this might be their last gossip alive.

“Ladies, follow me. I will now take you to meet the leader.”

And here we go! Help me, Goddess, conceal my face so Casper won't recognize me.

Just like the outside, the inside of the apartment was just like the Packhouse back home. Casper must be obsessed with the Lunskye pack that he couldn't help but build a replica of it here.

Good for him.

He was seated on the throne, the same throne I have back there at the Packhouse, and it makes me wonder why he would also build something like that and sit on it when he is not an Alpha. What is he up to?

“Leader? They are here.”

The moment he lifted his eyes from his phone and our eyes met, Casper’s eyes snapped wide, and he sprang up.
