Chapter 45 Untitled Chapter

Chapter 45 Untitled Chapter
HAMS MORGAN

Taking Rowan out of the Arkonix Pack was the easiest thing ever. Ever since he set foot into this Pack, he hasn't gone out of the Packhouse because he was afraid he would be seen by a spy, and he would be attacked.

Amelia’s fear overpowered him so much that he screamed in his sleep because he saw her jabbing him with a knife, strangling his neck, or cutting his limbs.

Those were just traumas from what she did to him, and I hoped he would understand it, but he didn't.

Anyways, that isn't my concern. My only worry is how to attack Amelia without causing chaos in the Pack. She is the only one I want to get rid of, not her Pack members; they are innocent.

But how will I do that without getting caught? I don't want the Arkonix Pack to be tagged as Rogues, no, that must never happen.

“Do you know I possess magic?” Rowan asked from across the table, grinning in devilishness.

Of course, I know, every Pack in this kingdom knows he possesses dark magic that is prohibited in the kingdom.

“No,” I pretended just so he would tell me the things I don't know yet about him.

“Why? I am surprised. All the Alphas know about it. Why are you different?”

“Because I don't meddle in things that don't concern me.”

“Oh, I thought it was your brother who doesn't meddle in other affairs. Well, let's get to the point.”

Who cares what he thinks? What I know is, I must get whatever I want, even if that thing overpowers me.

“It will give you the ability to kill without attacking any Pack, it will also…”

As he went on and on explaining them, my face brightened up. That was the exact thing I needed, and if he gives it to me, Amelia is in trouble.

“I can give you a part of it, Hams. But in return, you will keep me and my Pack members safe in this Pack.”

That is the easiest thing ever. Give me what I need, and I will give you what you need also.

“Deal!”

He got up, supporting his weight with the only hand he had left. Then motioned to me to get up, which I did.

“It's going to be painful, but you must endure it. Nothing good comes easy.”

Good? When did dark magic become something good? Nah, it isn't.

“A quick question, Rowan. Now that you are left with only one hand, no offense. Don't you think it will be better if you can pass all the magic to me?”

His brows compressed, and he didn't stop staring at me in suspicion.

“Not what you are thinking about, friend. You and your Pack members are under me, which I guarantee you protection for the rest of your lives. I just need the magic so I can protect you more. You are weak, and I heard magic gets weaker each day when its owner becomes feeble.”

Well, I did a good job there because Rowan agreed with me.

“You keep it for me, Hams, and when I get better, I take it back.”

Wonderful! Gosh! I love myself.

Transferring the magic to me was indeed painful, but it was worth it. After all, I used it to get Axel out of the Lunskye Pack when Amelia was chasing him.

However, that didn't stop there; I conspired with Amelia to get Rowan killed because that is the only way I would keep his magic for the rest of my life.

They think I believe their stupid story that Rowan was part of those who killed our parents? No, I wasn't convinced by it, and I will never accept it.

What am I, a pup? They've indeed lost it.

Rowan was only standing in my way, and keeping him in my Pack will get us into trouble when the word gets to the king.

Even her mind control didn't work on me, I ain't an ordinary wolf anymore, I harbor Rowan's dark magic in me. Nevertheless, I pretended it worked on me so we both could get what we wanted.

“What are Amelia and Hans doing here?” Rowan asked, his eyes popped out when he saw them standing far away from us, on the day I promised Amelia to bring him out.

“Your last day, Rowan, you are getting killed today.”

At first, he laughed it off, thinking I was joking, but when he saw the smirk on my face, reality hit him.

“Are you nuts!” he snarled, “Is this how you are going to pay me, Hams? I thought we were now buddies.” As he spoke, his voice cracked, and he quivered in fear.

“We aren't buddies, Rowan. Get your head straight. How do you expect me to keep someone like you in my Pack? Come back to your senses, dude, the Arkonix Pack isn't for the rogues.”

I smirked, started the car, and drove towards Amelia and Hans.

“I am so disappointed in you, Hams, and I swear, I will…”

“Cut the crap, dude! You can not do anything to me! Do you remember that you are nothing now? I have what you once had, and I can kill you right away if I want to, but I want Amelia to do that.”

Rowan reached for the door, trying to open it, but he was trembling so much that he couldn't. And I froze him in place, parked in front of Amelia, and pulled him out of the car.

I watched as Amelia’s eyes flickered in blue light, a devilish smile on her face. She looked vicious when she chopped off his head with a snap of her fingers.

And I swear, I love the new Amelia I saw in front of me. I want to make her mine, and mine alone. She is just the perfect girl for me right now to mark as my mate.

And no matter what, I must do whatever it takes to have her running to me, and rub my feet. She must worship me as her Alpha, and together, we can conquer the kingdom.

All I need to do is bring out the evil side of her magic, and things will be as easy and delicious as a pie.
