Chapter 15 My savior
My eyes widened in shock as I stared at the most enormous, mightiest, and most handsome wolf I have ever seen.
That wolf was bigger than my late Father, Alpha Brook’s, and bigger than Hams.
Its height was like an adult horse's, and its fur was silky grey, with a white strand running from its head down to its furry tail.
It growled at Kairos, who was standing on his paws, staring at it fearfully.
That wolf doesn't look like any of my bodyguards; its aura was like that of someone born of power.
It can't be from royal blood; they aren't as big as that. It must be an Alpha.
My eyes snapped wide the moment it hit me. The only male Alpha in my Pack is Hans.
Could it be him? No, Hans Wolf hasn't shown up yet. And even if it has, it can't be that huge, right? His twin brother’s wolf isn't as giant as that; as twins, they must have the same-sized wolves.
“Who are you?” Kairos snarled, ready to attack.
I looked at the giant wolf, waiting to hear what it would say.
“Kael!”
What! Kael? That is Hans’ wolf! I heard him mention his wolf’s name earlier on.
This is Hans?
Kairos and I were both shocked, and as Kairos leaped towards Kael, I dragged myself under the desk to avoid being killed in their right.
“Nobody touched my mate!” Kael snarled, his voice as thunderous as a thunderclap. Even the building shook when he snarled, including the furniture in the office.
It was as if the world was ending, and everything was about to sink into the earth.
Wap!
Kael slammed Kairos on the wall for the second time, breaking the wall. The sand and dried cement were scattered all over the place, covering Kairos’ furs.
“Leave, and never return!” Kael barked, picked Kairos between his teeth, and threw him to the door.
The door broke down, and Hams transformed back, lying on the floor, breathing so hard. Blood was gushing out of his mouth, but he managed to stand on his feet, glaring at Kael.
“So you have been hiding your strength all along?” he cracked up, splashing blood everywhere.
“I am so amazed, Hans. I didn't know you were this huge.” His face turned blank, and he spat out blood.
“This isn't over. I will come back, and when I do, I will take over this Pack, enslave Amelia, and lock you up in prison!”
He threatened and stormed out of the office when Kael snarled at him.
He let out a loud growl, went down on his paws, and transformed into Hans.
Hans quickly stood up, extended his hand, and helped me out from under the desk.
He stared at my eyes for a while, examined my body for any injury, and hugged me tightly.
“I'm sorry I came late.”
Late? No, he came at the right time and I am grateful. Hams’ wolf, Kairos, would have had his way with me if not for Hans.
“Thank you for saving me, Hans.”
I broke down in tears, and he held my head to his chest.
His heart was thumping rapidly, and his musk scent filled my nostrils. I shut my eyes, inhaling the only fragrance that makes me relax.
“I am right here with you. I will protect you.” He wrapped his arms around me, making me feel safe in his embrace.
A few minutes later, I broke free, got on my knees, and wiped off the tears on my face.
“You didn't leave,” I asked, dusting the dirt on my gown.
“I wasn't going to. How can I leave you when…” He went mute as if he was told not to say it. “Our contract isn't over,” he quickly added.
Oh, so it was the contract that brought him back? I thought he came for me. Well, he did save me, and I am thankful.
“Alpha Amelia?” the bodyguards barged in, making me scoff.
Are they only discovering I was attacked now? These guys are ridiculous. They didn't hear all the growling, snarling, and slamming? Gosh!
“Is this how you guys protect your leader?” Hans snapped at them in wrath.
They stepped back, bowed their heads, and apologized.
“We didn't know it was Alpha Hams, we thought it was you who…”
What nonsense!
Hans and Hams are identical twins, yet they have their differences.
Hans is a bit taller than Hams and isn't as muscular as Hams.
“Really?” he gasped, then pointed at them.
“You should be lucky that monster didn't have his way with my mate, you guys would have paid with your lives! Now get out!”
He thundered, and they staggered out of the office.
Seeing this side of Hans makes my heart flap like wings. I didn't know he was this authoritative, scary, and brave. I thought he was a loser who was never supposed to be an Alpha.
Has he been hiding this side of himself because he doesn't want to be disturbed?
Gosh! I don't want him to return to his other life; I want to continue seeing him like this. He is more suitable as an Alpha this way.
“What are you staring at?”
He snapped me out of my thoughts, and I quickly stopped smiling.
“Nothing.” I turned my back on him nervously.
But he chuckled gently, walked behind me, and wrapped his arms around my chest.
“Are you into me?” he whispered into my ear, sending a heatwave gushing down my lower body.
My eyes shut, and a moan escaped my lips as he nibbled on my earlobe. Gosh! That was sensational.
He then kissed my neck, making me nibble on my lower lip seductively, tightening my eyes, and letting the feeling flow into my body.
Hans surely knows how to turn a woman on, unlike Hams whose trick never worked on me. Just Hans’ touch is enough to make you submit to him and find yourself getting banged by him.
He kissed my cheek, positioned his lips at my ear, and whispered something that made me want to scream.
“I need you,”
