Chapter 119 Untitled Chapter
“A rankless dude?” she gasped. “I am not rankless; my father is a Beta.”
“Oh, you guys are a puppet?”
“Are you kidding me?”
Sabrina lunged towards me, but she was lucky that Hans blocked her way, saving her from getting disfigured.
“Leave me alone, Hans. Allow me to show her how angry I am. How could she call my precious family and me puppets?"
He slapped her forehead with his fingers, bringing her back to her senses.
“Are you awake now? Listen to me carefully. Amelia isn't who you think she is. If she gets upset, she will…”
Snap! Why would he stop? I wanted him to round it up so the empty head would know not to cross my path in this pack.
“What brought you here, Sabrina? I don't remember inviting you.”
“Ive missed you so much, Hans. That was why I decided to come here and keep you companny.” she smirked at me. “Because your mate doesn't have time for you. She prefers to lead her pack instead of…”
“That's enough.” he shushed her, frowning at her.
“Sabrina or whatever you are called, it is time for you to leave because my mate and I…” I locked my arms with Hans and rested my head on his shoulder.
“We were on our way out before you interrupted. So, we will like to be on our way now.”
“Nah, never mind, Amelia. I will be spending the night here because I have decided to move into this pack.”
Say what now?
Her confidence surprises me. Move into my pack without informing me beforehand? She must be kidding.
“We don't invite everyone here, Sabrina. And as the Alpha of this pack, you aren't welcome.”
“Hans is the Alpha, dude, you aren't. And only he can give me orders. You guys are only fooling those loving in this pack, not me. There is no way a woman would be an Alpha.” she scoffed, adjusting her mini bag on her shoulder.
“Can you just shut it!” Hans snapped, grabbing her wrist. “Dont you ever talk to Amelia that way, understand? Amelia is the Alpha of this pack and If you want to stay here, you must accord her the respect she deserves.”
As if she would be allowed to stay in my pack. Sabrina is already giving me a bad vibe and I am certain that her stay in this pack won't yield a positive result.
She would push me to the limit and I would be forced to wreck her like a ship.
“Sorry,” she smirked, rolling her eyes at me.
“Now you are happy?” she asked Hans, forcing a wide smile.
When she did that, she looked like a clown who was forcing herself to look funny, displaying a play in front of the audience.
If only she knew that she looked more like an attention seeker. Pfffts.
“I will escort you to the airport.” Hans released my hand, pointing towards the door while looking at Sabrina.
Saying that made my heart plummeted. He cannot escort her to the airport. I don't trust Sabrina, she looks like a bad person who would do anything to get what she wants.
And with the way she is behaving towards Hans, she seems to be interested in him.
“Hans? Never mind.” I stepped forward, “I will have the guards take her to the airport. Have you forgotten you and I have somewhere to go?”
“No, I ain't forgetting. Just that…” he sighed, shook his head and frowned at Sabrina again. “Do you mind?”
“Sure.” she smiled, stepping out of the way. “You guys can go ahead to have fun, I will leave after eating. I am so hungry right now.”
Well, that wasn't a problem for me. She could eat whatever she wanted then leave because that was what I wanted.
Hans and I left her in the Packhouse while we went to the company to check things out.
“Alpha Amelia? You guys are finally here.” Thane bowed his head. “The receptionist handed this tk me when I came in the morning.”
A file? Is someone seeking a job?
“We don't have any vacancy in the company, Thane.” I said, taking the file from him then turned to Hans.
“Why don't we build more companies so we could create jobs for everyone in this pack? I want them all to be independent and responsible.”
“That is a good idea, mate. We will start planning on it later.”
I nodded my head, flipping the pages.
But that wasn't a job seeking file, it was a proposal to partner with us.
“From who?” I asked Thane, “I have no idea, Alpha Amelia. The secretary said the lady who brought it was in her early twenties, petite, she wore a net see through dress, and had long red hair.”
“Why does that sound familiar?”
“Because you already know who it is.” Hans chuckled.
“Sabrina, right?”
I threw the file at Thane the moment Hans nodded his head.
Sabrina is trying to cross my paths. There is no way I will give her a spot in my company when the first thing she did after coming into my pack was insult me.
She seems to hold a huge grudge with me so, she is a no no for me.
“Keep the file with the receptionist. When Sabrina comes here later, she should hand it over to her.”
“Yes, Alpha Amelia.” he bowed his head and hurried off.
Didn't she know that I had already stopped doing business with the other packs after Rowan’s case?
I don't trust any of them, and I will never trust them. They are greedy and would only stab me at the back the way they did to my father.
“Can we have a talk, Amelia?” Hans held my hand and led me to the office. “Why don't you think about this before concluding?”
“Think about what? Forget it, Hans, I ain't approving Sabrina’s request. She is a rude twart, she doesn't respect me, and we won't be on good terms If I welcome her here.”
Hans didn't say a word again and I assumed he understood all I said. I won't let someone who looks down on me work with me, never.
The good thing is, she must have picked up the file and left already.
“She didn't return,” the receptionist said, placing the file on the desk.
Perhaps she would come back another time to pick it up. No matter how long it took her, she would still come back and find out she was declined.
Even though I protested, Hans took the file from the receptionist saying he would find a way to return it to Sabrina. I couldn't argue with him, so I let him be.
“Have I told you today that you are the prettiest girl I have ever seen?” he winked at me, and drew me by the waist closer to himself.
As we stood in the living room about to kiss, the footsteps on the stairs made us turn towards it. My heart skipped a beat as soon as my eyes fell on Sabrina, wearing my night dress.
