Chapter 101 Untitled Chapter
“Confessing?” She lifted a brow, surprisingly. “What am I confessing, Alpha Hans? Do you still think I am connected to demons?”
Is she kidding me? Isn't it why she came to see me? This girl must know that I don't take shit from anybody. If she dares to push me to the limit, I will be forced to make her a scapegoat.
“Can we just force her into saying it?” Kael suggested, ready to pounce on her. And yes, I want to do anything to make her start confessing.
She cannot toy with my mind. The moment she stepped inside this garden, the atmosphere changed, the fresh breeze disappeared, and even the coolness from the flowers had turned hot like a sauna.
And she is trying to deny she is related to demons?
Even though she is wearing a nice rose-scented perfume, it didn't stop her real scent from hitting my nose.
Seriously, can't Amelia perceive that? She claims she can perceive demons now and also control them. Why hasn't she found out yet that Matilda is harboring that scent?
“Alpha Hans? Please do not scare me. The goddess bears me witness that I have nothing to do with those evil creatures. Can't you see? I have a wolf; I am a werewolf, not a demon.”
The goddess? Which of the goddesses? The moon goddess or the demon goddess?” Pfft.
“Then show me your wolf, girl.”
As if she were waiting for me to say that, she got up, pulling her gown down a bit. “Then I will show you. But first, you will have to hold onto my dress for me. When I shift, I go naked.”
“Wha!!” Kael’s laughter burst into my head like a drumbeat. “Dude, you are getting a free pu…”
“Shut the fuck up!” I snapped at him, shoving him behind my mind.
“Are you out of your mind?” I snapped, getting up from the chair. “Do I look like I am desperate for another lady? Amelia is enough for me, Matilda. And I am disappointed in you for trying this shit. I can believe someone like you would do this to Amelia.”
“What are you talking about?” she sneered. “You practically said you want to see my wolf, and that is what I want to show you. So, what do you mean by all those words you are spewing?”
Oh, wow! She isn't only a seductress but also a rude demon. Well, I am not surprised. Demons are egotistical beings full of pride and idiots. They respect no creatures in this kingdom; they think they are above everyone else.
“I don't know why you think I am…”
“What is going on here?”
Dang it! Now I am doomed.
“Alpha Amelia?” Matilda called, and suddenly, the hypocrite’s expression changed like someone who was held captive and was forced to say what she didn't know.
“I don't know why Alpha Hans is doing this,” she sniffled, her voice cracking. “He still thinks I am a demon. Please tell him I am not one.”
What da! Is she serious right now? Crying? Oh, wow! I underestimated this girl.
“Why are you dressed this way? You are going to the company, not the club. Go in and change right away.” Amelia’s tone was sharp and harsh. And I love it that she ignored the hypocrite’s report and sent her away instead.
“Yes, I will. I am so sorry.” She bowed her head and hurried off, sniffling.
“That girl is unbelievable, Amelia.” I shook my head, sighing deeply. However, Amelia didn't say a word, and when I lifted my head after sitting down, she was staring at me in rage.
Her brows were wrinkled, her nose was shaking, and her lips were twitching. When I look down at her hands, they are clenched into a fist.
Seeing her that way sent my bones cracking and my heart thudding like a drum. As if electrocuted, I sprang up, stepping away from the chair.
“Why do you look this way?” I asked, my voice shaking.
“Perhaps, she wants to castrate you.” Kael teased, giggling.
That did send shivers down my spine. Castrate me? I don't want to see that even in a dream. When I said it earlier, I was only exaggerating; I never meant it.
“If she castrates me, then you will be castrated too, punk. Quit saying that word!”
“Not me, but you,” he hissed. “Then watch as I let you out when she is trying to do that.”
Kael gasped shockingly and slowly went down.
“So this is where you have been, Hans? While I was in there, searching the whole apartment for you.” She snapped her fingers, summoning her power. Suddenly, a little fog started floating above her fingers, causing my heart to stop beating for a few seconds.
Amelia won't hurt me with that, right? Perhaps she is threatening me to stay away from Matilda.
“Ever since you set your eyes on that girl, you have been acting so weird. Am I not good enough for you anymore?”
“Hell no! Do not get the wrong impression. You are good for me; the only one I want is you. Please do not misunderstand this.”
And yes, she did, because she threw the fog my way, and it shattered the chair I was standing behind. Fears grip me, and I run away from that spot.
“Do you have any idea what I feel whenever I see you with that girl? Do you?” She thundered, her eyes flickering blue light.
“You feel jealous, I know. But do not. I have nothing to do with her. And if there is anyone you should be transferring this energy to, then it should be Matilda; she is the one who is seducing me.”
“Seducing you?” she cracked up, throwing her head backward. “Matilda can not seduce you. I warned her a few days ago not to set foot into where you are. And she will never ditch me. Earlier, when she came to our room, she asked about you and said you called her to come see you.”
What! She had the guts to release that fat lie?
“Are you trying to deny it? She showed me her call log, and your number was on the first list.”
