Chapter 164: Silas love story

Silas pov

Her fingers slid down between us. The second she touched herself she whimpered, body jerking. I kept pounding into her, steady and relentless, watching her face twist with pleasure.

“That’s it,” I growled. “Come for me. I’ve got you.”

Her fingers moved faster. Her thighs started shaking. Then she broke—back arching, pussy clamping down so tight I could barely move. She cried my name, loud and raw, as she came hard around my cock, pulsing and soaking me.

The squeeze, the heat, the sound of her—it ripped my own orgasm out of me. I slammed in one last time and came with a choked groan, spilling deep inside her, pulse after thick pulse until I was empty.

We stayed locked together, panting. Her forehead rested against mine. Her fingers drew slow, lazy circles on my back while my cock softened inside her, still twitching with aftershocks.

Neither of us moved to pull away.

"That was..." she started.

"Yeah," I agreed.

She laughed breathlessly. "We destroyed your desk."

I looked down at the scattered papers, the overturned inkwell, the general chaos we'd created. "Worth it."

Later, after we'd cleaned up and made ourselves presentable, I pulled her back into my arms before she could leave. "Move in with me," I said.

She blinked. "What?"

"Move to Wynterhold. Permanently, I want you here. With me. Every day." I took a breath. "No more keeping distance between us. I want to wake up next to you, I want to come home to you. I want everyone to know you're mine and I'm yours."

"Silas..."

"I know I messed up these past few weeks," I continued. "I know I pulled away when I should have pulled you closer. But I'm asking you to give me another chance. A real chance. Let me prove I can do this, that I can be what you need."

Helena was quiet for a moment, and my heart hammered against my ribs. Then she smiled. "Okay."

"Okay?"

"Okay, I'll move here. Okay, I'll give us another real chance." She cupped my face in her hands. "But this is it, Silas. If you push me away again, if you run when things get hard, I'm done. I deserve someone who'll fight for me, not someone who fights against themselves."

"You do," I agreed. "And I will, i promise. No more running."

"Good." She kissed me softly. "Because I love you. Even when you're being an idiot."

"Especially when I'm being an idiot," I corrected with a small smile.

"Especially then," she agreed.

We stood there in my destroyed study, holding each other, and for the first time in weeks the fear in my chest eased. I was still terrified of losing her. Still afraid I'd mess this up somehow. But I was more afraid of losing her because I was too scared to try.

And that, I was learning, was the difference between running and fighting. Between protecting yourself and protecting what mattered.

Helena mattered, our relationship mattered. And I was done running from that.

The next two days passed in a blur of preparation for Beatrice's Luna ceremony. Council members arrived from across the territories. The political significance wasn't lost on anyone. A rejected omega becoming Luna of the most powerful pack in the realm.

I found Beatrice the morning of the ceremony, pacing in her chambers.

"You're going to wear a hole in the floor," I said.

"I'm terrified," she admitted. "What if I mess up? What if they don't accept me?"

"They will." I pulled her into a hug. "You're already their Luna. The ceremony is just making it official."

"What if I'm not good enough?"

"You are." Darius spoke from the doorway. "You're more than good enough."

I left them alone, knowing she needed him more than me right now. That evening, we gathered at the Sacred Grove under the full moon. The entire pack assembled in a massive circle around the ancient stone altar. Ysara Moonveil stood waiting in her ceremonial robes.

Beatrice walked the moonlit path flanked by Theron and Darius. She wore a gown of silver and white that caught the moonlight. Her head was high despite the nervousness I could read in her posture.

Ysara began the ancient ritual, calling upon the Moon Goddess to witness and bless. When she asked Beatrice to speak her oath, my sister's voice rang clear and strong.

"I was rejected, broken, lost," Beatrice said. "You found me. You chose me. When I had nothing, you gave me everything. Now I choose you back. I promise to protect you, to serve you, to lead with compassion and strength. I am yours, and you are mine."

The pack howled in acceptance. The sound raised every hair on my body.

Then Beatrice shifted. Her white wolf Luna rose, magnificent and powerful under the moonlight. She threw back her head and howled, and every wolf in the grove responded instinctively.

Moon Goddess's blessing was visible as light descended to bathe Beatrice. The entire assembly held their breath as the radiance enveloped her wolf form, making her white fur glow like starlight itself. The power radiating from her was unmistakable—this was no ordinary wolf. This was an Alpha in her own right.

When she shifted back, the light faded, and I immediately noticed what everyone else was too awed to process yet—Beatrice was naked, vulnerable, standing in front of hundreds of pack members and visiting dignitaries.

I moved without thinking, shrugging off the ceremonial cloak I'd been wearing as part of the family delegation. Years of court training had prepared me for moments like this—when quick action and discretion mattered more than protocol.

"Beatrice," I called softly, approaching with my eyes respectfully averted, the heavy cloak held out before me.

She stood beside Theron, still dazed from the transformation and the Goddess's blessing, not quite realizing her state. Her skin glowed faintly with residual moon magic, and she radiated power—but she was still my little sister, and I'd be damned if I let her first moment as a recognized Wynter Alpha be marred by embarrassment.

I draped the cloak around her shoulders quickly, fastening it at her throat before stepping back. The deep blue fabric, embroidered with silver wolves—the Wynter sigil—fell to her ankles, covering her completely.

"There," I murmured, finally meeting her eyes with a small smile. "Can't have you catching cold during your own ceremony. Dramatic transformations are one thing, but hypothermia is quite another."

Beatrice blinked, then looked down at herself, realization dawning. A flush crept up her cheeks. "I—thank you, Silas."

"That's what brothers are for," I said lightly, though my voice carried an edge of protectiveness. I glanced around at the assembly with a sharp look that dared anyone to comment or make light of what they'd just witnessed.

The celebration feast afterward was unlike anything I'd seen. The Great Hall was packed with pack members and visiting dignitaries. Beatrice glowed with happiness and early pregnancy, Darius never far from her side.

Each of us brothers presented her with traditional Luna gifts. Theron gave her mother's ceremonial blade. Corin gave her healing crystals blessed by three generations of Wynter healers. Kaelen gave her a set of throwing knives with Wynter crests.

When my turn came, I handed her a leather-bound book.

"It's our family history," I explained. "Every Luna for the past three hundred years. Their challenges, their victories, their wisdom. I thought you might like to read what came before."

Beatrice hugged me so tight I could barely breathe. "Thank you. This is perfect."

"You're going to be the greatest of them all," I told her.

Later, I found myself standing with Helena watching Beatrice dance with Darius. She was laughing at something he whispered in her ear, her hand resting on her still-flat stomach.

"That's going to be us someday," Helena said quietly.

I looked at her sharply. "What?"

"Not the pregnancy. Not yet anyway." She smiled. "But the happiness. The partnership. The family. If you let it."

I pulled her closer. "I'm letting it, I promise."

As the night wore on and the celebration continued, I watched my family. Theron and Liora in the corner having their own private moment. Kaelen telling some outrageous story that had everyone laughing. Corin dancing with one of the pack healers. Beatrice surrounded by pack members who loved her.
