Third Person's P.O.V:
The Triplets were outside of the room waiting for Olivia to regain her consciousness; They'd stayed outside just because they didn't want Olivia to freak out after waking up.
When Erik had rushed to the pack hospital with Olivia in his arms they didn't waste a second to follow him, they sprinted to the pack hospital right after Erik had left with a half-unconscious Olivia with her whole body covered with burned marks; Her beautiful honey skin was now burned and whether they accepted it or not, they were also a big reason behind this incident.
If they hadn't given the right to their girlfriends to insult Olivia, maybe this incident would've never occurred.
They were guilty. They could never think Alice would dare to do something like this.
When Alice had thrown hot coffee on Olivia's face Lucas wanted to help her but then he remembered what the Gamma had said.
Flashback:
"Remember whatever we are doing to her is what she deserves." Gamma spoke after the funeral of the Luna was completed.
The triplets had buried their mom in the pack graveyard along with the morals they were taught by her. Any sort of mercy they had left inside them was wiped off.
"Like father like daughter. Just like her father she is also wearing a mask of innocence fooling everyone. All you should remember is to take revenge. She should pay for her father's betrayal. Only in that way you all will get to avenge your mother's murder."
The Triplets nodded to their uncle and made a promise to their own self that they would never look back from this day and they did so.
That day, They pushed Olivia far away from their heart and mind, removed any sort of affection they felt toward her. It was just a fire inside them and that was to take revenge. Revenge for the loss her father had caused; A loss that can never be fulfilled again.
They pushed Olivia far away and unknowingly a part of themselves.
Flashback ends.
Lucas had stopped himself from helping Olivia. Fisting his hands to control his urge to run to her and embrace her in his arms.
Alex was about to get up but Lucas stopped him.
Olivia's screams were making their wolfs howl in sadness, their insides were pierced with each sob she emitted.
Each tear rolling down her face worked like a knife stabbing their hearts.
They averted their gaze from the scene; Stopped their wolfs who were ready to pounce at the shameless woman who threw the hot coffee on Olivia's beautiful honey skin that'd always catch everyone's attention because of the beautiful illuminating glow it radiated.
Alice was Jealous of Olivia because she could never match her beauty and what she did today was just a reflex of the jealousy inside her; The Triplet's knew it all too well.
They knew Olivia was strong enough to bear this but was they doing right by not helping her? Does she deserve this treatment?
Obviously not, they were doing a very big mistake, adding another mistake to the list of their mistakes throughout all the six years; Six years of hell they made Olivia face. Their wolves were shouting at them but they ignored them, they stopped them though it hurt them.
But why revenge didn't buy the satisfaction it should? Revenge should gave birth to a peaceful sentiment but why they were feeling none of it? Why the silence that started unraveling inside them only increased?
They had the questions but not the answers.
When Alice went behind Olivia they knew she will create serious problems today.
But they were hesitating to go there, why should they? Weren't they the ones who wanted her to suffer?
Alex was the first to stand up pushing all of his grudges and thirst for revenge aside.
"Where are you going darling?" Alex's girlfriend Mia's nasal voice made both Alex and his wolf burn with rage.
His wolf took over. His eyes were roofed with jet black shadows indicating that he wasn't in control and it was a sign of danger—An omen of the upcoming storm that might annihilate her if she spoke further and Mia got it very profoundly.
"Shut the fuck up. Just talk when you need to, understand?" Alex slammed his fist onto the table making her flinch. A small crack became visible on the table and the room fell completely silent.
Few pack member's gazes shifted to them and some looked scared as they saw Alex fuming with uncontrollable fury.
His wolf was dangerous. Most merciless among the three of them.
Mia started shaking in fear. Her whole body shuddered as she glanced at Alex or more likely his wolf who was ready to come out and tear her into pieces.
"Calm down " Lucas ordered Alex through the mind link.
Since Lucas was the eldest it was Alex's duty to listen to him, it was declared by the moon goddess that in the case of non-identical triplets, the eldest wolf should be obeyed by the rest two of the wolves. So Alex controlled himself since he had no other options.
Then suddenly they heard a thud sound that drew everyone's attention.
Anna, one of the eldest ladies of the pack said "I'm sure Alpha, Alice is going to get beaten today as we all know, no she-wolf in the pack can defeat Olivia."
Some of the pack members who still supported Olivia secretly laughed. And some were trying to hold their laughter that was fighting to come out.
"Silence." Lucas ordered and everybody became quiet obeying his order immediately.
"I think we should go there." Benjamin rushed out and they strode toward the kitchen.
When they were close to the kitchen Benjamin noticed that Olivia's feet were bleeding.
"Her foot is injured." Benjamin spoke, concern was dripping in his voice as he noticed the blood oozing from the fresh wound.
But before they could reach them they noticed Alice holding a big kettle and the steam of hot water Could be seen.
"Look here, bitch." They Heard it from far because of their super hearing.
They reached there with their superspeed but Alice was quick to throw the water on her.
"Alice no...." A shout emitted from Lucas.
The water touched Olivia's beautiful honey skin and it reddened as soon it came in contact with the boiling water.
The Triplets were horrified. They couldn't stop this horrible event; They were late.
Olivia's screams were banging in their ears and breaking their hearts. They felt a sharp pain inside them spreading making their whole body froze.
Benjamin wanted to rip Alice's head from her filthy body but his mother's bruised dead body flashed in front of his eyes.
Alex wanted to hug Olivia but then he remembered his father's paralyzed self; His father's sufferings.
Lucas wanted to help her but he refrained from doing that as he remembered Gamma's words.
They couldn't find any words, what to say, what to do. Their brain stopped working. Their mind was blank.
Then thankfully Erik arrived.
Erik was late to wake up and had never expected to see Olivia in this state. He was shocked and speechless, the girl he always considered his sister was screaming laying on the floor as if her life was begin snatched out of her.
Erik gave the Triplets a disgusted look when Olivia begged him to kill her.
They had tears in their eyes. But Lucas looked worse. Because Lucas was most violent with Olivia; He was the only reason Olivia had lost all of her self-esteem. His words worked as a knife that pierced every inch of Olivia's soul and now Olivia's screams were doing the same.
After sending Alice to the dungeons Erik ran to the pack hospital's direction with Olivia in his arms.
When the triplet's were following Erik they heard Olivia weak voice saying,
"I'm coming to you dad..." And this made their heart sank in intense fear.
Guilt was eating them up.
What if something happens to Olivia? They could never forget themselves if anything happens to Olivia because of them; All these thoughts perambulating their heart and mind was making them restless with each second.
They were outside the room waiting for Olivia to regain her consciousness when they Heard Olivia scream.
Lucas attempted to go inside but Alex held his wrist stopping his movement.
"Don't. Erik will handle her." Alex spoke.
They were hearing everything Olivia was saying. Every word leaving her mouth, the pain in her voice was felt by them. They were churning in their places.
Tears streamed down Alex's face as he heard Olivia's voice covered in sadness and remorse. The pain that reflected from the girl they'd loved from childhood was now killing them from inside.
Lucas was controlling his tears and Benjamin looked like he was about to lose the fight to stop himself from breaking down.
Then they heard Erik shouted at Olivia, they felt extreme anger rising inside them but who were they? They are the ones who had treated Olivia worse than anyone else.
"I miss them, Erik. I love them. If they were here they would have never let anyone hurt me. Lucas, Alex, Benjamin they wouldn't hate me. I miss the old Triplets. " As soon as Olivia finished her sentence none of them could control their tears that were on the edge of falling out, ready to demolish.
It was true their mom dad would've hated them for treating Olivia like this. But her father was the reason behind her sufferings; She was paying for her father's disgusting deeds.
"Get a hold of yourselves guys. We can't fall weak." Lucas spoke wiping his tears roughly that had betrayed him and managed to escape.
"She doesn't deserve this." Alex sighed while looking at the floor blankly.
"She deserves this. Don't forget what her father did." Benjamin spat whose expression was now changed into a stone-cold one.
Alex was about to say something when they heard Olivia's voice again.
"They promised to protect me, Erik."
Benjamin's stone-cold expression was gone as if it never took place remembering the promise they made to Olivia.
"They said they would never let anyone lay a finger on me."
Lucas released a heavy breath hearing her trembling voice.
"Is this how everyone fulfills their promise?"
Alex felt like hating himself for breaking the promise, for all those times when he ignored the tortures which Olivia bore.
"I can't bear this anymore Erik. I can't. They promised...." Olivia's voice fainted fishing with a breathy sigh.
Their breath caught got in their throat.
"Olivia wake up. Olivia." They heard Erik's panicked voice repeating continuously.
Without thinking once Alex opened the door and rushed inside. Lucas and Benjamin followed him right after.
They saw Olivia's unconscious body cuddled up in Erik's arms.
"Is she breathing ?" Benjamin asked frightened, his heart thumping against his chest in anonymous fear.
"She better not." Erik growled.
"How dare you say that?" Lucas shouted.
"It's better to die than bearing all these tortures. " Erik shouted back.
The Triplets were speechless after what had Erik said.
Erik was their best friend and, Erik had always tried to stop them from misbehaving Olivia or treating her the way they had treated her but he had never said something like this plus the disgust in his eyes for them was something they had never experienced.
"Erik..you don't unders.." Lucas tried to speak but Erik cut him off
"What more can I understand! I've never said anything to y'all because it's my duty to obey the Alpha's decision. But this is a vicious act that none deserves to bear. " Erik said pointing to Olivia's bandages.
"Her father was a Traitor." Benjamin countered.
"But she isn't." Erik spoke, harshly.
"You can't be sure of that." Benjamin interjected.
" If she was a Traitor, she could've killed you all by adding something poisonous to all of your foods because she's the one who prepares every single meal. " Erik added.
"Like her father poisoned my dad." Benjamin bitterly chuckled.
"If you all have this much problem with her then kill her right now. " Erik's sentence made three of them shocked.
"You know what I'll do that. Because I can't see her in this much pain anymore." Erik said while placing Olivia on the bed and standing up.
"Don't you dare." Lucas spoke in a dangerous tone.
"Why Alpha? Oh ...now I understand, you wanna kill her with your own hands right?"
"Erik!" Lucas shouted in his Alpha voice but the disbelief in what he was hearing from Erik was clear in his orbs.
Erik was about to speak when they heard a soft voice.
"Alex.." Olivia's supple voice spoke. Her eyes were closed and her body tensed.
She was having flashbacks from the past that they didn't know it. The flashbacks were torturing Olivia even in her senseless state.
Alex who was silent and looking at Olivia during this whole conversation dashed toward the unconscious Olivia.
"Olivia." Alex quickly pulled her into his arms. Her body felt so soft and Fragile, her scent was heavenly that could alone work like a drug. This was the first time Alex held Olivia since that day.
Even in her senseless state, she looked like a piece of heaven that fell on the earth. The beautiful, graceful, and eye-captivating beauty in Alex's arms was quivering as if she was afraid of something.
"Alex..." Olivia let out a soft hiccup while some tears fell from her eyes.
Alex's heart thumped against his chest hearing his name coming out from Olivia's mouth, it'd been more than years since she'd ever uttered any of their names but they were the ones who'd made her do it, they'd forbid her to address them with their names saying that it disgusted them.
So the quick increase of the heartbeat could be easily disregarded.
"Olivia I'm here. Look at me." Alex patted her face lightly but Olivia didn't respond in fact Olivia started panting even though she was still unconscious.
Alex's eyes widen seeing Olivia's face turning all pale.
"Call the doctor." Benjamin shouted.
"You said you will protect me then why are you not stopping him" Olivia sobbed.
The guilt which was already eating Alex up now increased to the extreme.
Alex's hands started shaking.
"O-Olivia." Alex's tried to wipe Olivia's tears but before his hand could make contact with her skin, she let out a muffled scream.
"Ouch.. it's hurting."
Olivia touched her hand screaming in agony.
"Alex please stop him."
Olivia cried out.
"Lucas you said you'll always take care of me."
Olivia arched her back ever so lightly, as if she was being hit by something sharp on her back. Alex hugged her tightly to his chest, tears flooded his vision and he bite his lip to stop himself from breaking down into pieces.
Lucas's looked at Olivia with teary eyes.
"Benjamin, you said you'll never let anyone lay a finger on me." Olivia sobbed.
Benjamin opened his mouth to say something but he couldn't find any words.
"Ahhh.." Olivia screamed.
Her cries and Screams came out muffled because of her face that was buried in Alex's chest.
Alex's shirt got drenched in her tears. His heart was torn, his soul was ripped away from him.
"You all said you love me." Olivia cried which ended with a scream.
Erik looked at the scene dumbfounded. He was hesitating about what he should do.
Then the doctor arrived.
"Please check her." Erik spoke.
"You need to move alpha," The doctor said and Alex growled refusing to let Olivia go.
"Alex move. Let her see." Benjamin said, hurriedly.
Alex laid Olivia down who was still panting and screaming. Her face showed only horror, she was turning paler every second.
"Seems like she is having flashbacks or.." before the doctor could complete Benjamin spoke.
"It is the flashbacks."
Alex and Lucas remembered the event when The gamma had hit fourteen years Olivia with his belt till her skin was bruised and bleeding. She had stayed the whole night in the dungeons with her skin bleeding, alone, crying, praying to moon Goddess, searching for an escape but nothing had helped her. She had remained like that for two days straight before the Gamma decided to show some mercy only because the packhouse needed to be cleaned.
Did the revenge still need to be fulfilled more? Maybe yes in their perception.
The doctor gave Olivia an injection and after a few minutes, Olivia stopped. She became mum like she was.
Her breathing slowed down and her soft breathing sounds replaced the silence. Her chest slowly rose and fell as she breathed.
The tear stains were still visible.
"I have given her an injection, she should be fine and can gain conscious in a few hours, and if not she will the next day." The doctor said.
"Will she have this problem again?" Erik asked.
"I can't say anything. She seemed very scared and touching her whole body like she was in pain. Maybe the events she had faced was very br*tal." She informed and, with a bow she left the room.
The triplets looked at Olivia's unconscious self then Benjamin and Lucas proceed to leave the room.
"Come Alex." Lucas said when he saw Alex glued to his place.
"I'll stay with her." Alex declared.
Benjamin mind linked Alex "we can't be weak. You know that."
"I don't care." Alex spat and looked away.
Benjamin and Lucas looked at Alex in disbelieve then stormed off the room with anger and sadness howling inside them.
