Chapter 7

 SHOLA'S SHOCK. She screamed. Just now, she felt fear, even though she didn't know what would happen to her when she was hit by a car. Her knees suddenly softened, and she sat down just as she was about to reach the car.

The driver was also shocked. "Almost, bro!" said his companion.

Alexis ran to the woman immediately after seeing the incident. "Miss, are you okay?" he asked worriedly.

Shola was nervous; the man might see that she was wearing a mask. She felt her face, and she was surprised because she didn't feel anything. The mask was already on her arm. She breathed a sigh of relief.

"Miss, come; I'll take you to the hospital." Alexis held the girl's arm for support. He thought she was bumped by the car.

Shola shook the man's hand because she seemed to be getting burned by his grip.

"Miss?" Alexis was about to touch the girl again.

"Don't touch me; I'm fine!"

Alexis couldn't continue his attempt to touch the girl. "I'll help you!" He just said it.

"I can hold myself!" She responded to him.

"Damn her! Foolish woman!" The woman said she was inside the car. "What now? Why hasn't she left in front?" She quickly got out of the car. "She will see."

"What's she going to do?" The man said

The other man just shook his head. He knows she's going to scold the woman. "Let her," he said.

"Are you out of your mind? Where did you come from, huh? You know there's a car that will just cross you suddenly; isn't it one of you? Or, what planet are you from?" She said it with an angry tone.

Shola and Alexis both looked at the woman.

Shola did not like the woman's speech. She thinks she's a bad person. She didn't even understand the rest of what she said, but she knew it wasn't good. She grabbed the car to stand up to face the woman who got out. Alexis was leaning on the woman in case she fell.

When Shola stood up, she brushed her long hair.

The two men inside the car were amazed when they saw Shola's face. "Bro, is that a goddess?"

The man who was driving just stared at Shola; he was struck by the woman's beauty.

Even Alexis stared at the woman. He felt his chest because suddenly his heart beat fast.

The woman who spoke when she saw Shola's face felt jealous. Because even without make-up on her face, you can see her unique beauty.

"I'm sorry, you're right, there's nothing like this in my place."

The woman returned to her normal face so that the woman in front of her could see that she was jealous of her beauty. "So, you are ignorant? That's why you should get out there; the thing in front of you might be shallow you!"

Shola thought that what the woman was saying was true; she was confused with fear as she retreated suddenly, so she lost her balance.

Alexis moved quickly and caught the woman's body. "Are you okay?" he asked her.

Shola didn't answer the man. She just looked at him. For the first time in her life, she feels this kind of attraction to a man. She feels great in his arms. And the warmth that she felt earlier when the man touched her, she felt again. And she felt something tickle in her heart.

The woman laughed at Shola's fear and confusion. "So stupid and silly you, really ignorant!" she laughed out loud.

Shola and Alexis, like they didn't hear what the woman said, ignored her.

"I'm really going to take you to the hospital," Alexis said.

Shola wanted to protest and say no, but nothing came out of her mouth. And then what hospital does it refer to?

Because the woman didn't answer him. Alexis attention goes to the woman. "Miss, are you with Enrique?" he asked her.

The woman smiled at Alexis. "Oh yes, why?"

"Tell him to follow me."

"Who are you anyway?"

"His Father sent me to meet you here."

"Really? Wow, my sweetheart had a bodyguard. Really, they are rich."

Enrique got out of the car when his surprise disappeared. "Miss, I'm sorry!" he said as he approached the girl. "Are you okay? Does something hurt you?" he asked.

It seems that Enrique wants to pull Shola to Alexis, if you look at them, it's like they're hugging each other.

"Sweetheart, she's fine. Let go now so hot already!"

"Sweetheart, she's my obligation; you saw, didn't you? I bumped her."

"It's not your fault, sweetheart; she doesn't know how to look and listen if a car is coming!" she insists.

"Enough, Sweetheart! I know it's my fault; I did see her." Enrique also insisted. He actually wanted to be with her. He admitted to himself that he felt love at first sight.

"Damn!" Enrique's girlfriend was secretly cursed. Because she senses something in her boyfriend. She knows him as a playboy.

"Miss, are you really okay, huh?" Enrique asked again.

"I'm fine." 

"Enrique, I'll take care of her. I'll take her to the hospital so that she can be examined."

"Are you sure? It's okay that I will take her to the hospital." He really wants to be that woman.

"Yes, after I took you to your house, we went straight to the hospital so she could be examined."

"Okay." Enrique grabbed the wallet and took the money. "Here's Miss's hospital payment."

"Don't worry, sir, I'll take care of it; just check up." Alexis answered him.

"Sweetheart, let go! What the hell!" His girlfriend is already irritated.

Enrique wants to shout at his girlfriend. But he controlled himself because someone was in front of them. "Yes, by the way, Miss, I'm Enrique Mo..." He stopped because his girlfriend suddenly talked.

"Sweetheart, please let go!" The woman is really annoyed. Then walk to the car.

Enrique couldn't do anything but follow her because it was obvious from her voice that she was angry. For now, he obeyed her.

"Alright, you'll take care of her," Enrique said to the man. He was about to walk, then he remembered. "Wait, may I know what your name is?" Enrique asked the woman.

Shola just looked at the man. She is about to open her mouth to say who she is.

"Never mind, I'm sure we'll meet again, Miss." Enrique said then he walked to his car.

When Enrique got into his car,

"Miss, come to my car," Alexis invited the woman.

Shola didn't move at all. In her mind where they go. And why did she come with him?

Because the woman never moves. Alexis guided the woman towards his car.

Because she doesn't know what to do. Shola just followed the man; she had no objections for herself and felt he was a good person. Not as bad as the person who killed her family.

"She's so pretty, bro!" Enrique's friend said what he said was just a whisper.

Enrique's girlfriend suddenly hit the man's head. Because she saw what was done.

"Ouch! Why did you do that?" He looked at the woman behind him.

"Pretty, isn't it?" She even widened her eyes. She heard what he said, even if it was a whisper.

The man looked at Enrique first before answering the woman. "You're immediately jealous; yes, she's pretty, but of course you're prettier. Right Enrique?" He even widens his eyes at him.

Enrique got his friend "Yeah, he is right; you are prettier than her, sweetheart."

"Really? But I didn't believe you. You said that out of your nose, hmp!" She was sullen.

Enrique shook his head. He needed to pamper his girlfriend. "You didn't believe me, okay? Come near me, sweetheart!"

The woman quickly moved forward. "Why?" she asked him.

"Look at me!" Enrique ordered. 

She brought her face closer to him.

Enrique gave his girlfriend a quick kiss on the lips, but he folded it back with just one kiss.

"Look on the road, bro. Maybe someone will suddenly cross again; really, you bump into him or her," said his friend.

"You are jealous, huh?" Said the woman who sits next to Enrique's girlfriend.

"Teresa, you can kiss Simon. If you want, so you won't be jealous."

"No, maybe later when we're on our own; he's so aggressive; just one kiss and he's getting hot, you know." She bit her lip.

"Really, Teresa? Hmmm, I hope Enrique is like that too."

She nodded in agreement with what her friend said.

Enrique fell silent suddenly because his mind was on the woman he almost ran over earlier. "Damn! She's like a goddess, especially up close! I want to know you completely, whoever you are. Damnit! My heart is beating so fast just now; I know I already love her!" he said to himself.

"Sweetheart, why are you so quiet all of a sudden?" her girlfriend commented.

Because Enrique's mind was wandering with Shola, he didn't hear what his girlfriend said.

"Sweetheart, what's happening to you?" She even patted her boyfriend on the shoulder.

Enrique was surprised by what his girlfriend did. "What?!" he shouted loudly. And he suddenly braked as his girlfriend almost flew in front because she was sitting in the middle.

"Ouch! What's going on with you, bro?" He bumped his head.

"You're not used to me, bro. You know I get irritated easily, especially if someone talks too much." He looked at her girlfriend with anger in his eyes.

Enrique's girlfriend suddenly became silent. Know that her boyfriend is angry with her.

Alexis stopped when he saw Enrique's car stop. "What happened to them?" he said.

Shola was speechless. She didn't know what to say to the man; she just closed her eyes.

But when Alexis saw that the car was moving forward, he looked at the woman next to him, who closed her eyes, and the look he gave turned into a stare.

Shola felt that the man was looking at her. She suddenly opened her eyes and looked at him.

Alexis didn't know where to turn his gaze; he was suddenly confused, and his heart also went along with his confusion.

Shola noticed this and couldn't stop a smile from appearing on her lips. Which fascinated Alexis even more.
