Chapter 234 Whatever It Costs, I'm Begging You

Chapter 234 Whatever It Costs, I'm Begging You

Andrew and Alexander sat facing each other in the study, discussing business.

Alexander remained distracted the whole time, barely registering what was being said.

Andrew clearly noticed and couldn't help reminding him, "Mr. Hamilton, what do you think about the prospects of this project?"

Alexander finally focused, "It's good. But... I have a request."

He looked up, struggling to meet Andrew's eyes.

"Can you... push this project forward with everything at your disposal. No matter the cost, the resources needed, the obstacles we face—I'm willing. Please... make it happen. Let more people know about it, benefit from it."

Andrew was stunned. After a moment of silence, he sighed.

"I promise you, Mr. Hamilton. I'll do everything in my power." Andrew nodded solemnly.

"And please take care of yourself. If Mrs. Hamilton could see you now... it would break her heart."

Alexander slowly raised his hand and covered his face.

Would she feel sorry for him?

Would that woman he had pushed into hell with his own hands still feel sorry for her executioner?

No... she wouldn't anymore.

She probably didn't have the energy left to hate him anymore.

After seeing Andrew off, Alexander sat alone on the sofa, motionless.

After Andrew left that day... what had Caroline done?

He remembered now.

At the time, all his attention had been on Celeste with her low blood sugar. He hadn't even noticed Caroline leaving the banquet hall.

By the time he realized something was wrong, Caroline had already vanished.

When he found her, Caroline had been drugged, her clothes torn to shreds, an iron chain around her neck, being dragged around like an animal and beaten.

Alexander had even seen with his own eyes a man unbuckling his belt, touching himself, about to violate Caroline's body.

And at that time, Caroline had developed mutism from the trauma of the fire and couldn't even cry out for help.

How terrified must she have been?

"Ah!"

Alexander clutched his head, roaring in agony.

"Mr. Hamilton! What's wrong?!" Mark heard the commotion and rushed in.

He saw Alexander collapsed on the floor, convulsing in pain.

He panicked and quickly stepped forward to help him up.

But Alexander suddenly raised his head and grabbed Mark's hand.

"Mark!"

"Go! Find those two men that Celeste hired when Caroline was kidnapped after the banquet, and bring them here!"

Mark nodded quickly, "Yes, Mr. Hamilton! Just wait... please don't do anything rash!"

With that, Mark hurried out.

Within half a day, those two men were hooded, bound, and thrown into the basement.

The overhead light suddenly blazed on.

Alexander sat in a high-backed chair in the shadows, holding a cigar, slightly raising his chin at Mark.

Mark stepped forward and yanked off the hoods.

When the two men adjusted to the light and saw clearly who sat before them, they were terrified.

"Mr. Hamilton! Please spare us! What happened back then wasn't our fault! We were just hired help! It was Celeste! She was the one who gave the orders!"

Alexander slowly exhaled a puff of smoke.

"Celeste is already dead."

Both men gasped and fell silent.

With the mastermind dead, they knew their fate was sealed.

"Tell me what you did to Caroline that day."

Neither dared to speak.

Mark immediately brought over a Doberman, saying coldly, "Mr. Hamilton has two more dogs like this."

The fierce dog barked wildly, its breath reeking of raw meat. Both men were so frightened they lost control of their bladders.

"I was just the driver!" one of them broke first, crying out.

"I was only responsible for getting her from the club into the car and taking her to that warehouse! I don't know anything else! I swear!"

The other man's face turned ashen, trembling, "I... I was in charge of restraining her... Celeste said to drown Mrs. Hamilton in the pool downstairs at the banquet hall, to make it look like suicide. But she fought too hard, I was afraid of making noise, so I knocked her unconscious... I just tied her up and left after she was in the car! I really don't know what happened after!"

"Don't know?" Alexander repeated softly. "Those three men who came after—weren't they your contacts?"

"I did reach out to them..." the man sobbed.

"But... but I just told them to take care of it. I didn't tell them to drug her, much less assault her! Those... those three bastards were already killed by you..."

Alexander laughed quietly.

"You kidnapped her and delivered her to those three."

Alexander slowly stood up and walked out of the shadows.

"If you hadn't taken her, would they have had the chance? If you hadn't brought her there, would she have ended up in that place?!"

Alexander viciously stomped on the man's hand.

"Ah!" The man screamed in agony.

"Mr. Hamilton, have mercy! Please spare us!"

Both men were terrified, desperately banging their heads on the cement floor until blood ran down their faces.

Alexander looked down at them, speaking coldly, "That day, you and those three men you contacted drugged her, tore her clothes off, chained her up, treated her like an animal..."

He leaned down slightly, staring at the two men, delivering their sentence word by word.

"Today, you will suffer a thousand times worse."

He tilted his head slightly.

The men standing by immediately stepped forward, forced open the two men's mouths, and poured in concentrated aphrodisiac.

The drug took effect quickly.

The two men's struggles gradually weakened, their eyes began to lose focus, their faces flushed, saliva dripping from their mouths.

"Ah! I can't... I can't stand it..."

One of the men rolled back and forth on the ground, his body writhing uncontrollably.

"No... don't! Give me something! Anything!"

He began frantically tearing at his pants, exposing himself, fumbling desperately for relief.

"Hold him down," Alexander ordered coldly.

Two bodyguards immediately stepped forward, pinned down his thrashing limbs, and pressed him flat against the cement floor.

Rope quickly wrapped around his wrists and ankles, the other ends connected to heavy iron rings on the wall, binding him immobile.

"No! Let me go! I can't take it! Kill me! Just kill me!"

The man's body arched in agony from the unrelieved need, his screams piercing.

The other man still had some awareness left. He looked at his companion's suffering with terror in his eyes, sobbing and begging Alexander.
